We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The lot was large and tranquil. We spent most of our time in the lake or on the dock which has a large shaded area. The dock is shared with the tenants but we had it all to ourselves. The house is nice & quiet, has a vintage vibe. The kitchen and upstairs bathroom are modern & comfortable. We’d definitely stay here again!

It was a lovely stay- a quintessential classic lake home with updated kitchen and bathroom to make for a traditional at the lake feel but with comfortable upgrades. The house had plenty of space and the dock was massive. Kids enjoyed splashing in the lake and paddling in the kayaks. Quick access to town for food, medicine, groceries, movies etc. Beautiful views with the oaks and Spanish moss. We would love to return sometime.

We did not know that there were rental properties on the site, we did not know we were sharing the dock, we did not know the lake was so low we could not bring and use our boat, all of this information, we did not find out until the final payment was made. There was no issues with the renters the one we met was very nice but it would have been nice to know ahead of time

Hi Rita, thank you for your comments. We always appreciate feedback as we are always trying to improve the guest experience. The fact that there are other year-round tenants on the property is prominently listed in the VRBO description and in the house rules that you got upon booking. Similarly, we specifically state that the dock is shared in both places. We are very transparent about both of these issues. Unfortunately, we have no control over the lack of rain which is impacting all residents and guests this year at Kingsley and every other lake in the area. In your case, you shared your concern about the low water levels before you arrived. We talked about swimming and using kayaks and you replied that you still thought it would be "great". If you had asked to cancel because of no motorboating being permitted this summer, we could have talked about it. Trust me, I wish we could make the rain come but that's not possible and I think the lake is the lowest it's been in my lifetime. We hope you and your family enjoyed your stay even without the motor boat.

Lovely property

We stayed for a week and had a blast. Great property with the best beach area on Kingsley Lake. House is fully stocked with everything you could need and is huge! We will definitely be back!

Amazing, beautiful, charming and large house - perfect for a memorable family gathering

The house is full of charm but with a modern, well equipped kitchen - plenty of comfortable beds and sitting spots - the lake views are amazing and dock space is also great for sitting and watching sunrise and set - we will be back!

Enjoyed our time at the lake and kayaking. My granddaughters loved playing in the lake and on the sand area.
