Our group loved our stay at Lake Rescue! The house was perfect for our group and had everything we needed. Felt very homey and we loved having access to the canoe, kayaks, and paddle board. The lake was quiet and had a great swimming spot by the red bridge. We would definitely return!

Awesome location

This is our second time staying in this home in the fall, and it didn't disappoint. The location is beautiful, and the house has wonderful accomodations for my children and I.

Relaxing by the lake

The house was clean, spacious and comfortable. My kids really enjoyed the fuse ball table and I really enjoyed sitting by the lake. We also really enjoyed using the kayaks!

Perfect Ski House

Such an amazing house on the lake within a 5 minute drive to either Okemo base or Ludlow. Highly recommend!

Andrew’s lake house was fantastic for our family weekend trip. The house was just as described in the listing, clean, convenient & perfect location. Communication with Andrew was seamless & easily reachable. Highly recommend this rental.

Good stay, cozy home

Good stay, close to Killington. Host was good as well. We had to shovel some snow to get out, but that’s outside of host’s control of course.

Great house and location

The house was exactly as advertised and very comfortable. Kayaking on the lake was beautiful! The location outside of Ludlow is very convenient. We had a great time. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

THE BEST!

This is my favorite rental, ever, hands down. A home away from home, and just the most beautiful setting. The house is well equipped, beautiful and clean, access to the lake is A++, and the owner is a pleasure to work with. Truly, THE BEST!!

Beautiful Home

This is a blessed home, in both natural beauty and layout. Perfect balance between lake house and ski house, we stayed in winter but look forward to coming back in the summer. Very clean, and well maintained. Andrew was a fantastic host.

This is definitely one of my favorite rental properties of all time. The house is comfortable, breezy, and has everything you need. The lake is beautiful, and the location is perfect if you are looking for solitude (but also has every necessary amenity closeby). Thank you for a great week!!!

We missed this place as soon as we left! What a perfect place on a private little cove. There were 7 of us on the trip and had plenty of toys for everyone to enjoy the lake together. Everything we needed was on site. Andrew responded to all of our questions quickly and thoroughly. It is truly a home and you feel that sense of welcome as soon as you enter. We all found books to read for the week (best library in any home we have rented!) and we had plenty of games to keep us occupied on our one rainy day. No one in our group had a bad meal or experience anywhere in town. Goodmans, Killarney's, Mojo Cafe and DJ's were all great for dinner. We also hit a place on one of day trips, the Rustic Rooster, which was also great and had a nice little gift shop next to it. Johnny's Kitchen was perfect for coffee and breakfast sandwiches (and they make some excellent Bloody Mary's too!). We had a couple great beers at Eight O Brew, and stopped for a drink and fries at Slingers. We visited Woodstock as well, another beautiful little town. Buttermilk Falls was a perfect place to cool off with a swim. But my favorite was just sitting on the dock or in the screened area overlooking the cove each morning. Definitely wish we were still there.

Great Views and House

Everythjng was great. House was clean and as advertised. Check in was a breeze. Host was available for anything we needed. 5here were some repairs being done but host was up front about all of it.

Beautiful lakefront house in Ludlow!

My family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home right on Lake Rescue. The house was immaculately clean, with very comfortable beds and furniture. We enjoyed the private dock for our small boat and the use of kayaks and canoes. The house is a 5-minute drive to Okemo and 40 to Killington Mountain. So much to see and do in this scenic, charming area of VT. Andrew was a terrific host and communication was top notch-- he was patient with all of our questions and made us feel very welcome. This is our 4th Ludlow summer vacation, and this home was by far our favorite!

Idyllic location, amazing hosts

Andrew and Suzy have a delightful home, equipped with everything you need on vacation. A well-equipped kitchen, a lovely sun room, kayaks and canoe, fire pit... we loved everything! Andrew also rescued us when we accidentally locked ourselves out within 5 minutes of arrival (eeeep! My 6-year old shut the door while we were bringing in luggage!), and saved us from ourselves. Thanks Andrew! We will definitely try to vacation here again - it's a perfect place to get away and just relax. Thanks so much for a great stay!!

Magic, as always!

This house is now a part of our family summer routine, and it was magic, as always. Even with the floods, we were able to enjoy Ludlow and the surrounding area, and we found some new spots to enjoy as well. #LudlowStrong indeed; road crews were super busy fixing everything up. The house was perfect and charming - always has everything we need, and the access to the lake is our favorite part. Thank you for a wonderful, restorative stay!! See you next year!
