We loved our stay here. The hiking trail right outside the driveway was a huge bonus and it was so peaceful! It had a very Montana feel with a variety of mounts and pelts hanging on the walls, but our kids were fascinated and we didn’t mind!

Great Property

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was big and welcoming and had everything you could need. The check in process and the communication with the host were great. We would stay there again in the future.

This is our second summer coming to Flathead/Swan Lake area and this cabin was everything we needed. Our dog was so happy with the room outside to explore, there was plenty of room to play games as a family, relax, and recover from days on the lake and in the mountains. Our host was thorough in communication and made sure we had everything we needed. Would recommend if you are looking for an off the beaten path to stay.

Beautiful backwoods quiet location not too far from GNP.

The cabin was perfect for our needs. Not too far from Glacier NP (about an hour) but in a secluded and quiet area away from it all. The cabin was clean, had everything we could need and we very much appreciate that we could have our two small dogs with us. Thank you for allowing us to stay, Nick.

Perfect cabin and a perfect host. We stayed for our honeymoon. The cabin is secluded and quiet. Better than described. Well-appointed. We wanted for nothing. The drive is very pretty and ends at the perfectly cozy cabin. I cannot speak highly enough of our host who answered questions and gave helpful tips. Highly recommend!

I’ll admit, when I first walked into Nick’s cozy cabin, I wasn’t quite sure what I had gotten myself into! The rustic décor — pelts, antlers, skulls and all — was definitely an experience. But somewhere along the way, this little cabin completely won me over.By the time I left, I absolutely LOVED it there — and now, sitting somewhere else with a truly remarkable view at Rock Creek Resort, I actually find myself missing that cozy cabin terribly.It was peaceful, comfortable, wonderfully secluded, and exactly the kind of place that invites you to slow down and settle in. I was traveling alone with my dog, Mara, and I felt completely at ease there. There was something incredibly comforting about coming back to the cabin after a day of exploring, shutting out the rest of the world, and just enjoying the quiet while watching the light shift on the mountains. Morning coffee in the huge recliner w the spectacular view was the most amazing way to start each day. Nick was a wonderful host, and someone who makes you feel like you’ve been friends forever (sorry for all the texts Nick! ) and the cabin has so much personality and character that it became a memorable part of my Montana adventure rather than simply a place to stay. There is not a single thing I would change.What started as “Oh my gosh, where am I?” ended as “I really don’t want to leave.”I would absolutely stay here again — pelts, antlers, skulls and all.

Mountain retreat

Loved the place from first pulling up in the driveway. Plenty of space for everyone to have some alone time. Fire ring and s'mores pail were a nice touch. We ever plan another trip to glacier we will be back for sure!

Love this cabin, staying here was an amazing experience by itself, let alone being close to Flathead lake and Glacier National Park. Kids were fascinated with all the taxidermy animals, I’m also a photographer as a hobby and my camera loved this cabin. Nick was gracious enough to offer up fresh eggs from the chickens and produce from the garden too! Made us want to stay longer. The big bed was sooooo comfy and the kids appreciated the play station as well! I hope I can come back and add photos from my camera.

Very Nice Place

Out in the woods. I would be cautious if I was driving a car down the driveway. Definitely want to have a truck. Place is beautiful. Area is beautiful. I will definitely return.

Felt like home

This was our families first time doing a vrbo and it was an amazing experience. Nick is great and the cabin felt like home. It was so comfortable and stress free. We will definitely comeback in the future. We loved being out in the woods in such a peaceful area. The taxidermy was so cool to see. Great location! I can't say enough about this place. Our family really enjoyed our time in this cozy cabin.

Perfect Quiet Escape

Just you and nature in this beautiful cottage. Off the road and away from everything. If you are squeamish around mounts and firs, this may not be the place for you, but if you are looking for peace, tranquility and fresh mountain air, you won’t be disappointed. The house was clean, stocked with plenty of everything we needed and the host communicated well. Recommend to anyone wanting to get away.

Hunters paradise!!!!

If your an outdoorsman. You will love this house. Very impressive!!!! The house had everything we needed. Close to the main road and swan lake. 5 mins from the beach and kayak rental. Deer in the yard every evening. We loved it. Ive stayed in alot of air bnbs. From alaska to tennessee and lots in between . This one was my favorite of all. Before we left. My wife said, "some day we will own a house like this." Its the perfect rustic hunters cabin.

Urban Relief

We love Nick’s place. This is the third time we’ve stayed at this forest cabin. It’s located near the end of a mile-long dirt road with one neighbor and all the comforts of home. It’s close to the campground and recreation area at Swan Lake, and the lovely town of Bigfork is just 20 minutes away. Nick is a friendly and gracious host who always makes us feel welcome. He’s usually available via text and responds most times immediately. We live in SoCal with all its traffic, busyness, and congestion. This cabin is secluded and quiet—perfect for a relaxing getaway.

A wonderful cabin.

Due to the lack of light pollution, It's very dark at night so I recommend a daytime arrival. The cabin is homey and well appointed. Lots of blankets, towels and a kitchen stocked with plenty of cookware. It has a strong Montana hunting and fishing atmosphere with an impressive collection of mounted critters and skins. I was very comfortable. There are books, video games and a Roku connected TV. It was the only place in town where I had excellent Internet connectivity. I was getting away from it all, but needed to stay in touch with my clients for emergencies. The only reason I left the cabin with my cellphone was to take pictures. The stocked bird feeders were always busy and deer and rabbits visited. It's a lovely place to unwind and enjoy the sights and sounds of Montana.

Even better than the pictures

We had an amazing time at Nick's cabin. The animal skins and taxidermy only added to the charm of this cozy place. The remote location was perfect, and we loved that there is a hike right outside the front door. Will definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

Great Cabin

We loved this cabin! very comfortable bed, plenty of space. the chickens were a nice surprise. kitchen is stocked with just about every utensil or piece of equipment you will need.

Cozy Cabin in the Woods

We had a really nice time at the cabin. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was nicely stocked and there were plenty of pillows and extra blankets. My children loved running around in the woods and our pup was as happy as could be doing the same. Overall, very clean, quiet, and cozy.
