We had a really nice stay in Coquitlam. Gina was a very gracious and kind host and has a great, clean, home away from home for her guests, and the view from the house is very nice. I was uncertain about how comfortable it would be there during the night in August without A/C, but we didn’t have any trouble being cool enough. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare and cook our meals, and it was very nice to grill steak outside, too. The location worked well to explore the area. Being able to walk easily to the train station made it easy to go into Vancouver for the day. We also enjoyed being able to walk around Mundy Park, since it wasn’t far away. If we are back in the area again, we would definitely enjoy staying here.

The suite is well equiped and spacious. We had a comfortable stay with privacy and a great view. Our hosts were helpful and the unit was very clean. Public transport was easily accessible although it is just a 15-20 minute walk to the Coquitlam Mall.

We loved this place! It was close to our family and the amenities were a close driving distance away. The view from the backyard was beautiful. The place was very comfortable, exactly what we needed. Gina was very responsive and kind. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

The Johanssons are always terrific hosts. It is always clean, with plenty of amenities. It's comfortable. A great place to relax after a day of exploring the area.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the housewares you could need for your stay. The bed was comfy and there were lots of additional items that could be accessed - such as books, stuffies, blankets and available shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There was a fireplace in the suite as well. Parking was trickier than I expected and additional vehicles in the drive made turning around to park and leave the property difficult. The host was easy to contact and responded quickly. There were no concerns to be addressed while we stayed there and with the exception of having to remove numerous spiders from the suite it was a smooth stay. Any other issues were consistent with staying at more dated property as opposed to a new build. Access to the Hiway was easy although the property wasn’t within walking distance to amenities, the neighbourhood was easy to navigate.

Great place! Great location!

We spent our time in downtown vancouver. This place was easy to navigate to downtown using public transport. Great value stay. Beautiful property and great views. Beds were very comfortable and rooms were clean. We would definitely stay again!

Great stay

Gina and Peter are wonderful hosts, easy to communicate with, answering every question or request right away. Our one bedroom apartment was clean, spacious and had everything you need for longer stay. We also enjoy beautiful view from the garden.

Great lil place and neighborhood

It was our first time using VRBO accommodations. They were very helpful and got back to me quickly regarding any questions we had. Very clean, comfy bed, comfy couch, great view and walkable.

We are located approximately 3/4 mile from restaurants and grocery stores. Waking may be not be a suitable option if you are carrying groceries or walking with small children. However, the area is very safe and we are directly on a bus route. This family was traveling with an RV and were able to park safely on the street during their stay.
