At Last was aptly named for our trip

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay here was temporarily interrupted by a mandatory evacuation for Hurricane Isaias which was made so easy by the timely and thorough communications from the management team. Great location, house is as in pictures. Kitchen is small with limited counter space. Very clean and we loved the secluded front deck with awesome views of the ocean. Had some trouble with TV connection to WIFI but management was on it & fixed very soon! Would definitely rent here again and we are Big Fans of the property management team!

Location was lovely! The place was perfect for us. Beaches are hard on properties due to salty air, constant water, so a little wear but completely to be expected. We would definitely return to this home!

We loved the house!! Beautiful inside and out. Very easy check in and out. Well stocked kitchen for easy meal prep. Beach access very close along with a short walk to the clubhouse and pool. We had a couple of raining days so the puzzles were perfect along with the books. Would definitely stay again and hope to in the future.

We loved our stay at this charming beach cottage! It’s well decorated, clean, and comfortable. Whether you’re curling up with a book, working a puzzle, or sinking into the cozy beds after a beach day, it has everything you need to unwind.The location is fantastic. It's just a short stroll to both the beach and pool, scenic bike paths winding through the neighborhood, and lush trees that give the property a sense of privacy. We’d return in a heartbeat!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice place to stay. Easy stroll to the beach. Clean and convenient facilities. Will say that the queen mattresses sag a fair bit on each side which made sleeping not that restful as you are stuck in a hole. Also the internet for tv etc was very sporadic in nature which made watching live sporting events (world cup) nearly impossible. But the location is wonderful and everything else was great! The upstairs beds were in excellent condition and was a great room for kids/teens to stay in.

We had a wonderful stay at the beach house! The location was perfect! We rented bikes for the week which I highly recommend… the trails were wonderful! We definitely hope to come back soon. Thank you!!

We had a great week at At Last. It was a great fit for our family of four with an easy walk to the beach and clubhouse pool.

We enjoyed our stay at at last. The house met all of our needs. It had a nice view of the ocean. The furnishings were pretty. Its a short walk to the beach. We were confused about the trash. We put it out but it wasnt picked up.

Great location

Lovely house. Great location, beach access across the street. It was nice to be inside The Plantation community. We didn’t realize that there are areas on the island that can only be accessed from inside The Plantation so that was a happy accident for us.

Rooms are clean and comfortable -the upstairs probably gets pretty hot in the height of summer. Bathrooms really need updating but otherwise well-outfitted.

Our family of 5 had the best time at SGI and this property. It’s one street away from the gulf - you can see the gulf from the back porch. It’s a short walk (less than 5 minutes). The house is exactly as described. I am so happy they had ceiling fans all over! We are a fan family and it was hot. Beds are comfy, refrigerator works great, a/c is cold, and there are 2 coffee makers: Keurig kcup and a drip coffee maker. The washer and dryer are a plus! They work great. Internet is what it is on an island / spotty but overall better than I thought it would be. A great excuse for me NOT to work! Clubhouse has community pool and exercise facility. It’s a 5 min walk one street over. We used our 250 rental credit to rent a beach wagon (a must!!), an umbrella, and chairs. We also rented a paddle board from Island Outfitters (cheaper). Loads of wild dolphins!! Highly recommend this property. We’ll probably rent this property again in the future.

Great Beach house!

At Last was the perfect destination for our lady's group. The open living area complete with dining table and game table suited us perfectly but would serve families just as well. The light airy decor was so attractive and relaxing. Both the boardwalk and the community pool are just a short walk away. The owners have succeeded in making a wonderful beach retreat.

Perfect Home and Location

We have been coming to SGI for years and this is one of my most favorite homes so far! The new renovations and décor are perfect-crisp, refreshing and timeless. We normally stay beachfront but this was just a short skip to the sand or the pool and the view was just as good. Well stocked and perfect layout. Will definitely be back...finally found our perfect SGI rental..."At Last"!

Most relaxing visit yet

Everything worked so we didn’t. This is our 25th annual St George Island visit. This home is spacious and ideal for two couples. Sure the house with all its amenities will accommodate more We chose to not do that. And just relax.

Perfect house for a quiet week!

Right across the street from the beach and a board rock just a couple doors down to make it easy to get to the beach. The pool was only about four houses away and it was very nice and also had water aerobics which was really fun. We rented bikes and rode all over the place. Love how the plantation continues the bike paths all throughout the plantation. We rode the bikes every day. The house was very well appointed very cozy and it was perfect for rainy afternoons doing puzzles watching movies. The bedrooms were huge. We would stay there again.

This was the perfect home for a family with two adults, two teenage boys and a four year old boy. The upstairs provided a great place for the boys to have there own space. The kitchen proved to be well-stocked and we enjoyed a delicious flounder meal at home. This property is perfect for those wanting to truly get away and enjoy biking, beaching, kayaking, fishing, a very nice community pool. The home is beautiful.

The kitchen is small but has great utensils, pans, appliances, etc. It is not waterfront but has nice views of the water. There is a great place upstairs for kids or just spread out space. The Parrot is our favorite place to eat on the Island.

Excellent accommodations. In perfect condition. Well equipped kitchen. Made brisket and crab cakes among other dishes. Close to the beach. Would return tomorrow. Checking out duties were a breeze (pun intended). One glitch. When first arriving parking is not intuitive. Need more careful instructions.

The home was clean, had plenty of towels, blankets, etc. as well as cookware, utensils to cook meals. Desiree was very responsive when we discovered that the fridg/freezer wasn't cooling properly. An appliance company came out and resolved the issue quickly.We also enjoyed the beach gear service that delivers/picks up at the home.We loved our time at the beach as well as Apalachicola, the Estuary, Gulf Speciman Marine Laboratories, and Wakullah Springs.If you are looking for a home where you can enjoy the beach, At Last is your place! ⛱️💗☀️

The accommodations, the location, and the support from the rental agency is always excellent.The view of the water is very nice and comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing.The inside of the rental has everything that we need to be comfortable. There are two master bedrooms and plenty of room upstairs for additional guests.The living area is very open and provides plenty of room with expansion onto the large deck overlooking the water.I’m very impressed with the efforts from the owners and the rental agency to provide top-notch accommodations and support.
