Beautiful property with stunning views of the mountains. The house was well stocked with anything one would need, especially the kitchen. We enjoyed the fireplace inside and the fire pit outside.

Amazing sunrises!

Our family had a great week! Great base location for day hikes and mountain biking. Well stocked kitchen. Amazing views from the deck. The owners were very responsive and thought of everything! Would definitely stay again!

Magnificent House

I have rented several houses and this is by far my favorite. We loved everything about it - from the layout of the house to the furnishings to the property grounds. The view of the mountains is just incredible. I would stay here again and again.

The most perfect place!

Loved this gorgeous, immaculate home. Had everything we could ever have thought of. Enjoyed feeding the fish in the pond on the property, and the drive up to the house was spectacular with fall color. Will rent again!

Blue Ridge Paradise

Experience was perfect from start to finish. Fran was an awesome host. The property is incredible. Very spacious and comfortable with everything you could possibly need. The view was stunning. The location is convenient to BRP and the town of Waynesville. Overall, the best rental property I've ever booked anywhere.

Appropriately Named!

Beautiful views! All the comforts of home. Very tastefully decorated (not your typical rental house furniture). Kitchen was equipped with anything you could possibly need. All of us who stayed agree -- five stars across the board!

Better than expected!!!

Y’all..this home was amazing! We booked last-minute and the owners were super communicative when VRBO was experiencing some glitches. And they were available for any questions we had. The views are stunning! The place was spotless..the cleanest property I’ve ever stayed in. The beds were comfortable and the linens soft! The owners considered everything, from baby gates to top-notch toilet paper! The home is about 10-15 minutes from town (groceries) and about 35 minutes from the ski area. I highly recommend and would definitely stay here again when coming to the area! I’m so happy it was available for us to stay in!

Best Ever

As a group of four all in our sixties, we were in aww las we settled in for the week. Thanks to Dave's great instructions on how to navigate the driveway, when we opened the door we were blown away at the beauty of this house from all of the many amenities to the endless breath taking views. My wife and I have been coming to the mountains for 20 years , this is by far the nicest house we have rented thus far. Dave and Fran have a gem in this house , they follow that up by being some of the best host we have had. If you have a chance you will not want to miss this one.

Over Already ?

My My that week went fast. A little rain in the beginning, rest of the week weather was wonderful. Everything everybody said about the house was true and then some. This fabulous house has everything one could want or need. We came for the view. We stayed for the ambiance. One minor suggestion. The overhead light in the dining room could use a boost in candle power. For playing board games or eating, on overcast days it feels a little like a BEAR DEN🐻. 100% great stay. Superior home with everything!

This property has everything you need and what you don't need. The rooms are very expansive and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook or prepare your favorite dishes. What you don't need is all the noise and hustle bustle. This house is so peaceful and quiet and may take city dwellers a night or two to comprehend the peacefulness. Even though the property is well tucked away in the mountains, you can still get to town for all your essentials in a short time. There are just too many perfect things about this house to list here. You would have to experience it yourself. For any seniors that don't want to do stairs, everything even the laundry is right on the main level. The owner is available to answer any questions with just a phone call or email away. We hope to return very soon to this wonderful home. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us Fran.

Our stay at this mountain property was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something special. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity we could have asked for. The mountain views were absolutely breathtaking, and the peaceful surroundings made it the perfect place to relax and unwind.Every detail was thoughtfully planned, making us feel right at home while still enjoying a true luxury getaway. Whether we were sipping coffee on the deck, watching the sunset over the mountains, or simply enjoying the cozy atmosphere inside, every moment was memorable.This was, without a doubt, the best vacation rental we’ve ever stayed in. Wonderful Property with Awesome Views

The photos don’t do this property justice. We chose it primarily for the views, but the house itself proved to be just as impressive. It seems like it could only be a couple of years old and it’s very well appointed. It was also spotless. And the views of the valley West of Waynesville did not disappoint. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to anyone interested in experiencing the best that WNC has to offer.

Awe-Inspiring

This house has it all, far beyond what you might expect. The view is magnificent. The house is very, very spacious, much more so than the photos can show. And how Fran managed to decorate so that a rental feels like a home and yet avoids clutter is truly awesome. We stayed 4 weeks and hated to leave. And we've had the pleasure for years now of working with some wonderful owners but Fran far exceeds even high expectations.We had a "contest" going to see if we could find anything that Fran hadn't already supplied and finally came up with 1 item, a pyrex loaf pan. Mentioned it to her as a joke and the next day we got a text to say one was on the way and would be delivered by Amazon the very next day. Awesome indeed. Read all the reviews to understand just what a great experience awaits you here,

Everything was perfect

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is wonderful and has beautiful views of the Great Smoky Mountains. Despite being in the mountains, you are not very far from the city or major roadways used to visit nearby attractions. Great location. Fran also made sure we had everything we needed before and during our vacation. Wonderful experience. Would not change a thing if we had to do it all over again.

Amazing House in an Amazing Location with Kind Owners

The place looks even better in person than in photos. The owner was very kind and generous in several ways towards us. The place is spotlessly clean. The house and grounds have a lot to offer, such as fireplace, Jacuzzi, fish pond, etc. The location is removed from civilization enough to fully relax , but not enough to feel isolated and endangered. If you want it, civilization is just minutes away with Walmart, etc., even though you think you are in the middle of nature. One of the prettiest areas of the whole country in my opinion.

TRULY a Rare Find!

This property is fantastic. The house is beautiful and immaculate. The mountain views are spectacular. Fran, the owner, has made sure that her guests are provided with every amenity. The layout of the house can accommodate up to six people easily, providing both great areas for socializing as well as space apart for downtime. The kitchen is a cook’s delight, with seemingly every type of cookware right at your fingertips. We enjoyed the deck for both dining and lounging. There are televisions in each bedroom, plus the living room. The linens provided are of high quality. I could go on and on- this rental is so very special. We stayed for three weeks, and I felt sad to leave such a beautiful property.

We've been vacationing in the Waynesville area for many years. This home is one of the best. 5 stars!! The home is spotless, wonderfully appointed with all the amenities you would need, and the view is fantastic. We will be back for another awesome stay.

Wonderful

Have been coming to Waynesville for many years. The Waynesville Sunrise home is by far the best we have ever rented. The house and property is exactly as stated. Having rented many homes in the area this is by far the cleanest and best maintained we have stayed at. The house is stocked with every amenity you could ask for. The sunrise in the mornings was certainly worth rising at an early hour to see. The fish pond was an added bonus. The homes layout is such that if you're staying with more then one couple you still have a sense of privacy for each. We were fortunate to meet Fran the owner while we were there. She could not have been nicer or more accommodating to help in any situation. We also had the pleasure of meeting Mary Jane and her husband Ron who own the Chalet below the house. The Chalet is just as beautiful and as well maintained as the large house. The interior of the house along with the beautiful landscaping show the pride the owners have for the home and made for a wonderful stay.

Peaceful Retreat

This spotless, spacious and well-equipped home was the perfect place for our vacation. Centrally located to many outdoor activities, we hiked every day and loved being so close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Downtown Waynesville is adorable, and all the things you need are within 10 minutes of the home, yet you feel like you are miles away from the hustle and bustle. Comfy beds, lots of space to lounge in the living room, very well equipped kitchen (only thing I'd add are a few more larger cutting boards), fluffy towels, you name it, this place has it. Fran was a lovely hostess, easy to communicate with and helpful with local info.

Wonderful couples getaway

We had the most relaxing time while staying at this beautiful, well appointed home in Waynesville. The view is breathtaking from the living area, the kitchen was stocked with all we needed to prepare all our meals in house, the fireplace was warm and cozy during the very cold nights and days, the Internet and TV worked flawlessly, and the owner was very gracious to any and all our needs. This home provided the peace and quiet we were looking for, and yet we enjoyed an afternoon in the quaint mountain town of Waynesville which was a short 10 minute drive away. This home provided for all our needs and left a good impression on the Guests accompanying us. We recommend this home with 5 stars and will plan a return trip as soon as possible.
