Perfect Vacation Villa

The property was completely in order, and everything from the furniture to the kitchen to the hot tub was in great condition. There is a Roku in nearly every room, and a nice collection of DVDs and board games as well. We felt right at home the whole time.

Winter getaway

Really enjoyed our stay. The pool area is very nice and the pool is kept at a warm temperature. Enjoyed the hot tub. The neighborhood is quiet, and we went for a long walk everyday. The house is well maintained and clean. Overall a very good value for the price. Would stay again if in the area.

Disney getaway

The home was well equipped with items and “felt like home” as soon as we entered. The location was just what we were looking for - a quiet residential neighborhood to relax after busy days in Disney parks. The pool and hot tub were great! Four bedrooms worked well- all have extra pillows/ blankets if needed. I would highly recommend 😊

Plenty of room, fun and relaxation!

We had a great time and enjoyed having our own pool, my girlfriend loved the washing machine (it's an older model with an agitator) and cleans waaay better than the newest models on the market, she also loved the large master bath tub. We enjoyed the board games, Uno, a puzzle and I even taught my daughter blackjack. It was a relaxing week that I highly recommend. Thank you!

Peaceful getaway

A wonderful quiet neighborhood. The street that it is on has beautiful trees with Spanish moss hanging, very picturesque. Private backyard where you can enjoy the pool and hot tub with lots of sun. My wife enjoyed sitting out on the Lanai every morning with a cup of coffee and listening to all the birds, it is close to a nature preserve. Inside very clean, spacious, well decorated and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for cooking. The way that the house is situated you get plenty of sun that comes through the back in the morning and then in the evening comes through the front, so plenty of Sun and light. We liked it so much we have already planned on coming back next year. Owners are always quick to respond with any questions. It is close to Disney, and from this location about an hour and a half from the Atlantic beaches and 2 hours to the Gulf beaches. We were able to experience both and recommended it!

Great villa and owner

Firstly, the best thing about this property has to be the owner. Lesley Annan was absolutely brilliant and replied to any queries very quickly. We can't fault her at all! Our stay at in this villa at Doral Woods was fun and relaxing. The pool and hot tub provide the right amount of relaxation needed after a day at the theme parks. They are nice and private and the pool heat was appreciated when the sun went away. The location for us was a bit hit and miss. Yes, you do have the perks of living in what seems a mostly residential area, meaning it's quiet. But it is quite a long drive to anything when you take into account how long you sit at traffic lights and any roadworks. There were some restaurants/supermarkets about 15 minutes in one direction and more about 25 minutes in the other. Disney/Universal took about 40mins at off-peak times, but a bewildering 1hr+ during the "rush hours". The kitchen facilities were top-notch. Everything worked and more than the basics (pots, pans, cutlery) were provided. The living area was well maintained and we thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment on offer on our quiet nights in. We used both the ensuite and double beds. The ensuite bed was a bit hard for one of us but the double was fine. The lemon tree gave us some wonderful lemonade and salad dressing. The only negative thing we can say is this villa is in need of a bit of TLC. A good, thorough clean and a bit of updating to the beds/bedding etc would be good. Overall we recommend the villa! Tips/hints for your stay: - We ate at the villa most of the time to take advantage of the kitchen/BBQ and save some $ on eating out everyday. - We recommend eating at/around the parks if you're there though as, by the time you get back from them, you won't want to prepare meals. - Publix has better quality "fresh" food but is much more expensive than Walmart for the essentials. Both are local to the villa. - Be prepared to drive everywhere. - The tolls are confusing and costly. You can avoid them by selecting "avoid tolls" on your GPS/Sat-nav (it seems to be quicker sometimes). Otherwise carry lots of small change. We had a bag of quarters (25c) in the car just for the tolls.

Fantastic home, clean, great pool, great neighborhood. We were so happy!

We had a fantastic week at this house. The house was very clean, and spacious. The decor was kind of an old-school “grandmothers place” vibe, but not in a bad way - it was very charming. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. We even managed to find everything we need to make the icing for a too-complicated Trade Joe’s gingerbread house (mixmaster, measuring spoons, etc.!) The pool was great, and the above ground hot tub was relaxing. The temperature of both was always very warm. The owners were easy to get hold of. The games room was lots of fun - especially the ping pong with lots of space to play. The neighborhood was very welcoming, long driveways, huge lots, and friendly neighbors. The tennis court was fun to play at as well. Highly recommended and we will definitely love to come back!

March Break vacation

The house was very clean and decorated tastefully. The furniture was in excellent shape, the beds were comfortable, the pool was warm, and the condiments and such were a very lovely and appreciated touch. Check-in was easy and all instructions for the house were as stated. Thanks for a great vacation! This is the nicest house we have rented in the area!

Doral woods home

Home was as pictured. There was plenty of space for our family. The living room tv area was a bit awkward, there wasn't room for everyone to sit together and watch TV. The pool was the absolute best part of the home!! The master bed was very uncomfortable we ended up buying a mattress topper to use while there. The garage gameroom was fun but very hot, it would be better if used during fall. The neighborhood seemed safe .

There was a lot to do both in and out of the house. We enjoyed our stay all through and through. Would highly recommend this property.

Very Nice Stay

Property was clean, communication with the property manager and the owner was superb! Kids has a blast in the pool and us adults enjoyed the hot tub. I will be staying here again!

Fantastic Villa

It was better than in the pictures. The villa has everything and all was perfect. Lesley was really easy to deal with and communication was excellent. The deposit was also returned promptly. The only hitch I had was too much rain but nothing anyone can do about this! It’s away enough to be quiet, safe but easy to find. I’m trying to get time off again for next year... Thank you Lesley for a fantastic stay.

Great vacation home

We had a wonderful stay. The neighborhood was quiet and the house is stocked with everything you need. The pool and hot tub were great. Lesley kept us well informed and responded quickly to our questions. We recommend this villa, especially those traveling with kids!
