We were so delighted with our choice of where to stay. Great place and so close to everything we did not have to drive to find food, fun and excursions from the marina.

Jon's property was absolutely immaculate. I've honestly never stayed at such a spotlessly clean place. The location was beautiful-- atop a high ridge overlooking the town and Superior, but conveniently close to all the shops and attractions. Jon was prompt, kind, and an excellent communicator! Highly recommend!

The view is phenomenal from the B&B. Clear view of the harbor, the lake and Madeline Island. Just a short walk to restaurants and the downtown area. With just three suites it was very quiet. Generous outside seating.

Stayed in a couple of the rooms on the property - all extremely clean with great views! Very private setting within walking distance to pretty much everything the town offers. The North facing deck was a great place for relaxing with dinner and a book. The host communicates very well and is super accommodating- helped us stay an additional day onto our vacation and made sure our stay was perfect. Thanks Jack!

The property is beautiful and the host is wonderful. The bed was comfortable and the views spectacular with lots of options for relaxing outdoors. A couple of suggestions we made were to upgrade the coffee option, provide a reading chair in the room and the toilet on our room was very small, difficult for older guests.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pilot House. Our Host, Jack, communicated clearly and promptly. He provided a very nice orientation enriched with his fun sense of humor. The view is magnificent with a world class sunrise over Madeline Island. Our stay included a beautiful sail with All hands Sailing and a very entertaining concert at the Big Top Chataqua. Of all of our stays in Bayfield, this was our favorite.

Great location near the ferry in Bayfield. Easy access to the docks and downtown areas. Loved sitting on the deck in the evening, and was able to listen to the evening concert from there. Very clean.

The room met every expectation. We met the host on the way in and he was kind enough to give us a tour and some history on the property. You have a nice view of the lake and we took advantage of the patio that night. They are very close to the town and within walking distance to restaurants and attractions. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and we had a quiet night. We were taking the Apostle Island Grande cruise the next day and were only a few blocks from the dock, which was very convenient. I would consider staying again if we ever in the area.

Location is excellent, much of Bayfield is within walking distance. The room was comfortable and spacious. The outdoor seating areas are a great place to end your day.

Perfect location-blocks away from downtown, ferry to the National Lakeshore park, boat tours and kayak outfitters. Jack is a great host-attentive and fun.

Great Place

We were in town for a wedding and this was the perfect place for my husband and I. Right in Bayfield, walking distance to just about everything you could need.

We spent a wonderful, relaxing week at the Pilot House B&B, Crew’s Quarters exploring the Bayfield area. Highlights were the location (close to downtown), the beautiful view and last, but certainly not least, our very friendly and accommodating host, Jack! We will definitely be recommending this place to our friends and family. Also the Apostle Islands Grand Tour Cruise was amazing!
