The cabin has really great views and is private. There's plenty of room for your pet to explore in the fenced in yard. The rooms are small, but enough is you're spending the day in Salida. Salida is about 20 minutes from the property and Buena Vista is about 50 minutes away. Great place. We hope to visit again.

Nice stay for rest and relaxation

This was the perfect place to stay for a few days to get away from the city. While we felt very remote at the cabin, it was nice to be within 30 minutes of a couple of towns that had all the amenities we needed.

Peaceful and Private Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cozy, private cabin. The beds were very comfortable, the area was quiet and beautiful and all was communicated wonderfully. We hope to visit again!

Great Location

We had a a great time at Star Mesa as did our dog! Great views from the cabin both inside and outside. It was an extremely cold weekend yet the cabin stayed nice and warm.

Beautiful place!

This is our second time staying at the property and we loved it again. It's isolated, quiet, plenty of space, it has everything for a lovely vacation with kids, even a small kayak my son used. We enjoyed it and highly recommend if you are looking for a very peaceful and beautiful vacation.

Great stay in Howard, CO

We had a great time at this lovely home and property. The views are amazing and it is located in a quiet neighborhood. Neighbor's cows came to visit and a herd of deer were in the yard quite a bit. The house was very comfortable and well stocked. We would definitely stay again if visiting the area.
