Comfortable place

Apart from a few minor things that can be fixed easily out stay at Sandra was a good one. Very nice and comfortable house. She tried her best to make us comfortable i would definitely stay there again in the future.

Comfortable and spacious

It felt and reminded me of home away from home. Those in charge were easily reachable when needed . Overall, my family had a good time

Ac is only in two of the rooms but the house is beautiful and there is tuns of space. You’ll love it!

My family and I was not happy, and we pay a lot to stay at that house.

The house was ok, but there was no water to use in the house after 10 pm and early morning, they shut off the water to save to money, when my kids goes out to party at night, then come back to the house and wants to take a shower there is no water in the pipes. My daughter and grand daughter almost got bitten by spider , and my granddaughter kept complaining about bugs crawling all over the floor and ceiling, but most of all it was the water for me , and we couldn't even get a blanket to cover in the night when it was cold it was not good at all. ceiling

I wish to refute Claudette's review and her family 's stay. In all the time I have never had a review of this type. Claudette gives a 3- star rating and at the same time complains about bugs, spiders, blankets and water. The house water is never shut off, especially for that silly notion to save money. My housekeeper keeps my home immaculate and the idea of bugs crawling round on floor and ceiling is insulting. No mention of where the girls were 'almost' bitten by a spider but, Jamaica is an island, after all. As for blanket (s), my housekeeper assured me they were available. On that note, Jamaica is a tropical island, and as such rarely experiences the kind of cold requiring extra blankets. My renters has been the constant running of AC.(hint)

My stay

My stay was nice, but I'm very annoyed because the owner is very money hungry . I told her that the ceiling fan glass fell out when I was trying to pull the string to turn the light on. She was trying to get me to pay out of pocket for the whole fan when nothing is wrong with the fan just the glass came out which isn't our fault. It clearly wasn't in correctly. She puts in a claim for all this stuff talking about we rip the grill cover and we never even used the grill at all. We were going to use it but once we the lift the cover up and seen it was gas it was never touch. Also she said the gas of a bar stool was stratch up because we had it against the wall. The bar stool is old like tan wood. It's on the back of the chair who is gonna see that. Long story short I paid the damage property insurance she wanted me to pay her out of my pocket. But once I checked my rental agreement I noticed I paid for damages already once I mentioned that she gonna say I was gonna tell u already paid for it which she was not because she would have already said it from the beginning. Anyway she puts in a claim for the whole ceiling fan for $350 smh wants the whole fan replace, smh getting unnecessary money from insurance. Which she can get a the glass for it because nothing is wrong with the fan at all.clearly the maintenance ppl didn't fix it right.

So sorry you felt that way.as I explain to you about the cieling fan that I am not able to find a glass to fit because it a old model and store does not carry again. so I told you to have your relative come and take the old one because I will need to replace item.your kids oviously damage the grill cover just like the other things they broke . You rearange my home and move the bar stools from the bar area.I will provide my amazon reciept to show that I purchase bar stools in april or may I had to ship them out so you were the first guest after. You were the one who told me about paying for item and I informed you that you paid insurance you should not need to do that.you said you ok.sorry that you feel I should use the old one butI dont rent my place with items broken.

The gem in Ocho Rios!!!!

This property is fabulous! I felt like I was at a wealthy family member home. it was Quiet peaceful tranquillity was at it's best. I felt secured! I stayed in the 5 bedroom home by self one night and never gave it one.thought about not being safe.

Great Stay

The house is amazing and what I loved the most is that each room had its own bathroom. It was a total of 10 so having enough bedrooms and bathrooms was very important. It's a little hard to find but after a few trips into the town you will memorize the route. It's a quiet and peaceful community. We weren't bothered by anyone.

Good experience

The place lives up to its name "Jewel". It was a little hard to find the place at first...Sandra and the rest of her team ensured that we enjoyed our stay and that we were comfortable. Overall it's a good place to stay.

My wonderful trip staying at the jewel Ocho rios

I stayed here at the jewels in May had a awesome time in Ocho rios . Very comfortable and a beautiful view yes i will return next year to spend my vacation here at this beautiful home in Ocho rios Jamaica .
