Costruita nel 2016, questa cabina con 3 camere da letto e due bagni completi si trova sulle montagne di Carroll Valley, Pennsylvania. Siamo situati a 2 miglia dallo Ski Liberty Resort ea 20 minuti dai campi di battaglia di Gettysburg. La nostra cabina è un'alternativa di alloggio perfetta per coloro che partecipano ai matrimoni al Liberty Resort. O visitare la famiglia nella zona.

Alla ricerca di un fine settimana per una festa? Resta nella nostra cabina e cenare al ristorante Smokehouse 1844 di Antrim a Taneytown, MD.

La cabina è fornita di piatti, stoviglie, bicchieri, pentole, padelle, tutto il necessario per rendere il vostro soggiorno indimenticabile. C'è anche una lavatrice e asciugatrice per il vostro uso. Lenzuola e asciugamani sono forniti rendendo questo un weekend fantastico.

La nostra cabina è dotata di un enorme portico anteriore completo di mobili per sedersi e prendere la tazza di caffè o tè del mattino. C'è anche un'amaca pronta per quei bei sonnellini pomeridiani. Il ponte posteriore è uno schermo in veranda completo di grande tavolo da picnic e posti a sedere. Luogo ideale per rilassarsi dopo una lunga giornata di escursioni, visite turistiche o semplicemente uscire in cabina. Ritorna in cabina e rilassati davanti a un bel fuoco con la tua bevanda preferita!

Abbiamo due televisori, uno nella zona soggiorno e l'altro nel soppalco. La TV al piano di sotto ha via cavo e un lettore DVD; la TV al piano superiore è solo DVD / videoregistratore. Porta i tuoi film preferiti o guarda uno dei tanti nella nostra cineteca. Ci sono giochi e puzzle lì per tutti da usare. Il letto futon nel soppalco si trasforma in un altro letto per dormire extra, ma non lo contiamo come una delle camere da letto.

Oltre ad essere vicino a Gettysburg, siamo a 25 minuti dal Long Pine Reservoir nel Caledonia State Park per coloro che sono interessati alla pesca o alla nautica. Questo parco ha anche una piscina stagionale e numerosi sentieri escursionistici. La testa del sentiero per l'Appalachian Trail è a sole 6 miglia dalla nostra cabina. Thurmont, MD, ospita sia un parco statale che il Catoctin National Park, entrambi offrono meravigliose escursioni.

Interessato al golf - c'è il Liberty Golf Resort a due miglia di distanza, così come il Mountain View Golf Course situato fuori Fairfield, PA.

This property is outstanding! The pictures on VRBO do not do it justice. The Host was communicative, gave detailed check in and out instructions, and was a pleasure to work with. My brothers and I were on our annual golf trip and the property easily supported all 4 of us in terms of space, comfort, and utility. I would 100% return to this property if I’m ever back in Gettysburg!

Clean, easy to find and close enough to stuff to actually DO things. That's right! You thought if you came to Adams county in PA there is NOTHING to do... Well, kinda. BUT this property sits right in the middle of pretty much everything. Not hard to get to places to eat, to drink, to explore and to top it off, you probably won't want to leave the property much anyway. Calm, peaceful and while there are houses around you don't feel like they are on top of you or you can't be "alone". I would 100% suggest this property to anyone looking to unwind for a weekend, week or even full month of just being alone in the woods, while still be able to know what internet is and how other people look.

Beautiful cabin on a nice, shady private lot. There are 3 big comfy bedrooms and a nice bonus loft space that my older children loved.If you have kids though there isn't much to do at the cabin. My kids are outdoorsy but the yard was small and the cabin is in a neighborhood. The roads are less traveled so they went for a walk on the roads. There is a nice big playground less than a 10 minute drive away. The cabin was well stocked, clean and the size does justify the cost. I like hot, hot showers though and was a little disappointed by my shower. Overall we enjoyed our stay however and are always grateful to anyone offering a better stay than a hotel!

Thank you. I always recommend that you reach out to me for ideas about activities as there is so much to do and see around the cabin within 20 to 30 minutes. Yes, the cabin is in a quiet neighborhood, and there is a playground 5 minutes away at the foot of Liberty Ski Resort. Near Thurmont there is a nice waterfall hike at the Catoctin National Park, as well as hikes and a pool at the Caledonia State Park. There is always Gettysburg National Park, and we do have a booklet at the cabin developed by the Boy Scouts with a hike that takes you monument by monument through parts of this Park. A fascinating hike. Overall, we are glad that you found the cabin to fit your needs.

We built our cabin in 2016 on land that had been in our family for over 60 years. Native to the DC area, our family decided to build a property close by that allows us to enjoy all that the area has to offer. Avid kayakers, we have explored the area and discovered many gems on which to paddle! We love to hike, bike and ski when we are staying on Raven Trail. We would love to share our adventures with you so please contact us if you too are kayakers, bikers, skiers or hikers!

The land on which we built was originally purchased by my husband's father in the 1960's as a place to go during the Cold War! After being so long in the family, we decided to build a cabin so that we have a place to go to relax and rejuvenate. All the cabin artwork was created by my husband's brother who suddenly passed away in 2013. We wanted to provide a home for his artwork. Our cabin is actually built in his honor and memory. We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we enjoy the area.
