We take cleanliness very seriously, and upon receiving your comment, we conducted a thorough inspection. As a result, we have scheduled a deep cleaning of the carpets to ensure this issue does not recur. Regarding the beach access, Deer Lake State Park is indeed the closest access point to the rental, and according to Google, it is within an 18-minute walk or a 3-minute drive. There is also another option at Santa Clara, which is approximately an 8–10-minute drive away. However, we understand the importance of proximity, especially when traveling with young children and grandparents. For future stays, we encourage you to consider one of our beachfront properties, which might better suit your family's needs. As stated in our listing, Sweet Home 30A is approximately 1 mile from both a public beach access and Deer Lake State Park, which is about a 15-minute walk or 5-minute bike ride. While we provide this information clearly, parking at the public beach access is managed locally and can be limited during busy times. Unfortunately, this is beyond our control. The charcoal grill is a community grill located by the pool, as clearly stated in our listing. Please note, it is not a private grill within the property. All access codes, including those for the pool and beach, are sent to guests one week prior to arrival through our digital guidebook to help ensure a smooth check-in.
