Villa Merah

The staff caring for this villa are amazing. Super helpful and caring about our needs. Would recommend for couples or families the grounds are beautiful. The owners were also very easy to communicate with and help when needed.

Lune de miel à Pemuteran

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans la villa. Elle est idéalement située en bordure de Pemuteran dans une zone très verte et à 15min à pied du centre de Pemuteran et sa plage. Pemuteran est un charmant village de pêcheurs encore préservé du tourisme de masse.Le personnel est formidable. Putu, le manager de la maison est très disponible pour organiser des superbes excursions (snorkeling, visites de temples, tour en pirogue dans une mangrove,...) et assister les locataires pour tout petit problème. Deux cuisinières viennent préparer le petit déjeuner et les autres repas sur demande. C'est très utile car on ne doit pas faire de course.La maison et le jardin sont superbes.Maison à recommander sans hésitation et nous y reviendrions avec plaisir.

Traumhaft die Lage sehr ruhig

Ein sehr individuell ausgestattetes Haus mit einem traumhaften Garten. Die Köchin hat uns immer sehr leckeres Essen zubereitet.

Spacious villa with lovely garden

Wonderful outdoor space and plenty of room indoors too in this semi rural home in a remote part of Bali. The garden is very large and immaculate and the pool lovely. Beautiful mountain views.Plenty of seating and much needed shade. The manager, Putu, was excellent-very helpful and easy to get hold of. He will arrange transport and excursions whenever you want them.The walk to the town with its beach, many restaurants and amenities is almost a km down a narrow potholed lane with some (slow) traffic and many noisy dogs which follow you and bark. They seem harmless but could be unnerving for anyone not familiar with dogs. One of the restaurants in the lane will take you for free back to the villa if you eat there. The good thing is you get a feeling of real Balinese life-roosters and cows everywhere and such friendly smiling greetings from the neighbours. The a.c. In the bedrooms is great and the twin beds ( can only speak for the one I slept in!) super comfortable. Storage and shelf space were in short supply in the twin room as the wardrobe contained spare bedlinen and towels. We would have liked somewhere to hang wet swimsuits, towels and washing. Night noise is very loud-crickets, tokay geckos (think the loudest squeaky toy you’ve ever heard), roosters and dogs all night but it didn’t stop us sleeping most of the time. We were very happy to relax in the homely villa, though you need to get out to buy food unless you ask Ketut the housekeeper to cook for you. The journey from the airport is only about 140km/85 miles but with no fast roads it takes 4-5 hours through busy towns and switchback mountain roads. Whilst it’s worth the slog and the views are great over the mountains, this adds considerably to the whole journey.

We had such a lovely stay x the house is fabulous x gorgeous gardens and a great pool x the staff were fantastic x a great help and nothing was too much trouble for them x would definitely stay there again x

Ruhiges Haus mit großem Garten

Das Haus befindet sich mit 2 weiteren Ferienhäusern am Ende eines langen Sträßchen unterhalb der Berge, außer Naturgeräusche, Hahnenkrähen und Hundegebell hört man nichts. Das Haus ist schön eingerichtet, die Betten könnten besser sein. Die Haushälterin Ketut kocht sehr lecker. Da wir ein Mietauto haben, haben wir mit der Entfernung zum Strand keine Probleme und haben die Ruhe genossen
