Charming mid-century home with wonderful views of Strait Juan de Fuca, with easy access to Olympic National Park, whale watching, and Hoh National Forest. Lots of thoughtful touches to make the stay more comfortable and special (like the telescope, a cooler to use on hikes, spices for cooking, and extra towels). Owners provided lots of helpful information for our stay.

Maureen and Joe are wonderful hosts who know the area inside and out. The views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca are stunning, and the kitchen had everything we needed—right down to an ice cream scoop!

Maureen and Joe were excellent hosts. They met us at the property, gave us keys and went over the house and surrounding area. The property had an excellent view and was very centrally located. We would highly recommend this location for anyone considering visiting the Olympic peninsula.

Amazing views! Quiet and relaxing right on the oceanfront. You can listen to the sound of ocean waves all night. The hosts have stocked EVERYTHING you need. We especially appreciated the binoculars and telescope to watch all the ships passing through. Walmart is right down the road, a seven-minute walk away. This place is fantastic and well worth the price. Hurricane Ridge and Crescent Lake (You can hike to Punchbowl and even jump in if you're really interested) are less than an hour away. Two hours to Hoh Rainforest or a drive up to Neah Bay - the farthest NW you can go in the United States (except Alaska). It's a beautiful hike out to the ocean view.

Maureen and Joe were lovely and gave us lots of tips that helped make our trip exceptional. The home was very clean, cozy, and perfect for our group of 4 with ample space to hangout and rest. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to pack our meals for our hikes at Olympic National Park.

Highlights are the view, quiet neighborhood, clean and functional. And Host is very nice and accommodating. The place is Uniquely dated decor 50s or 60s. Some things to note, keyed lock only, no WiFi, and single bathroom with only one outlet by door. Verizon cell service OK, ATnT very slow to none. Overall, a very nice place to hang out and would recommend.

We spent five days touring Olympia. This Home was our base of operations during that time. It is a lovely location and a well kept and maintained home. The kitchen has all that you need for cooking meals, which we did on several occasions. It was such fun to watch all the ships go by and look at them through binoculars or through the telescope. Maurine and Joe are lovely host. We would highly recommend this location.

Maureen and Joe are warm and welcoming hosts, and their home is well equipped with everything you could need. The beds are comfortable, the shower works great, and the view is amazing. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return!

Fourth time staying here

This property is just so comfortable. We've stayed here 4 times and hope to come back again. The location is perfect. The property is well kept. We think it's a pretty special place. The owners are great people.

Great views, wonderful house, beautiful property

We stayed as a launching point for Olympic National Park and we couldn't have had a better place. The house has lovely architecture, the views of the sea are incredible, and Maureen and Joe were very helpful with their advice about the town and park.

The house was immaculate and there was a wonderful view of the Straight of Juan de Fuca from the kitchen, the living room, and the bedroom, The site was quiet snd relaxing and the owners were very helpful and accommodating. If I could give the place a 6 or 7 In the ratings I would. Probably the best rental I have ever stayed in.
