The Stable è un edificio in pietra arenaria a due piani splendidamente ristrutturato con vista sulle colline di Twamley Farm e immerso tra querce inglesi. The Stable dispone di una vasca idromassaggio privata all'aperto in cedro. La tradizionale vasca idromassaggio a legna offre un meraviglioso bagno terapeutico nella splendida cornice della Twamley Farm.

The Stable è perfetto come fuga romantica in campagna. C'è una splendida camera da letto matrimoniale situata al piano superiore con bagno privato, mentre al piano di sotto è un moderno open space soggiorno / sala da pranzo e cucina completamente attrezzata. The Stable offre un minibar gourmet ben fornito, pietanze complete per la colazione, macchina per caffè Nespresso e pasti pre-preparati gourmet a portata di mano. Potrete rilassarvi al fuoco di legna con un bicchiere del nostro pinot nero della costa orientale o uscire nell'aria del paese, esplorando la fattoria e la boscaglia circostante. Prendi una delle nostre mountain bike ed esplora i numerosi sentieri del bush della Twamley Farm.

Beautiful property & location, will not disappoint :)

Absolutely perfect little place, outdoor fire pit a lovely addition, well stocked minibar for those who don’t want to venture out and very friendly and respectful hosts. We hope to make a return trip soon!

Weekend Away

A very unique part of Tasmania- a rural setting based around a traditional heritage farm. The accommodation was just what we were looking forward to for a weekend away. An original stone stables building converted to accomodation to suit a couple, but with all the facilities and a lovely wood fire, all to create a heritage ambience. Can highly recommend this property, which is run by owners who really ensure all the little details are spot on.

Stable at Twamley Farm

Fantastic. Felt like we were a million miles from anywhere. Even though close to Hobart. We needed more nights to do all the walks on the farm! Highly recommended.

A great find!

My husband and I stayed here recently. It was clean, spacious, the bed was comfortable and it was a very peaceful, country retreat.We chose to stay here because it was a short drive from the Maria Island ferry terminal. We loved our trip to Maria Island. Our hosts made us a lovely picnic lunch to take with us, which I’d recommend to others. We also visited the nearby Tasmanian bushland gardens, which were worth visiting. There were several pleasant walks around the property as well. Breakfast provisions were included and meals are available for a fee, if required, which we found very convenient.

Just perfect

Visiting from interstate we spent two nights at the Stables with a day trip to Maria Island whilst there. The Stables was the perfect place to unwind with everything we needed right there. We went on a long farm walk, seeing so many birds and animals along the way, then basically relaxed the rest of our time there. Photos just can’t capture how special this place is.

Great place to stay.

We had a lovely overnight stay at the Stable. The accommodation itself is beautiful as are the surrounding trees and countryside. We’d highly recommend a stay here if passing through the area.

Country Comfort and Style

Angela and Elizabeth are awesome and very helpful hosts. The property and gardens were breathtaking. The Stable was very comfortable with everything thought of to make it an easy and relaxing time.

Great big, unique accommodation

We were blown away with the accommodation when we got there. If your looking for a quintessential farm stay then look no further. Host were wonderful and very accommodating. Couldn't recommend more highly.

Thanks so much for having us Angela and Elizabeth! We loved it. Outdoor bath amazing. The walks were great! We loved the fire at the top of Charlie’s hill. Also the dressing gowns smelt so nice! We were just missing a tea towel to wipe up the dishes. Thank you for having us. We really enjoyed our stay!

Romantic one night stay

The property has such a relaxing feel, some gorgeous animals and a nice warm hot tub. We loved the evening walk up to Charlie’s Hill. Thank you for making us feel so welcome!

Perfect romantic getaway

A wonderful property, easy to find and close to HOBART for a quick getaway. Breakfast provisions were lovely and hot tub a must for quiet indulgence outside under the stars. Highly recommend.

Beautiful and historic property

Very comfortable accommodation for a special occasion. The hosts were welcoming and provided everything needed for a relaxing stay. The photos do not do it justice, so will send you some extra special ones to use soon :-)

Great place for a relaxing,quiet getaway

We spent 2 lovely days and nights in the charming Stables. Plenty of space and beautifully appointed. Apart from my desire for larger coffee mugs,I can't think of a single thing extra you would want.The friendly and helpful owners where another feature that added to our enjoyment.

Fairytale cottage

This is the most adorable, romantic cottage. Positioned just behind the main homestead on the property, the old stable building has been smartly renovated to include stylish, modern amenities (such as a gas stove, dishwasher, fridge and coffee machine), while still preserving all the character of the original edifice. It's a total charmer.

The most romantic, picturesque, inviting, sumptuous accomodation we’ve ever stayed at!! GORGEOUS!!

Twamley Stables captured us from the moment we saw it. A true gem, I would recommend to ALL in need of a secluded, luxurious, romantic country getaway. Wish we had booked a week there, incredibly sad to leave. Hosts Elizabeth and Angela were beyond welcoming, and encouraged us to roam the farm and make use of all amenities. Every tiny detail was impeccable, gorgeous nooks everywhere and impeccably styled. A must do- you’ll never know if you never go!! Can’t wait to return!!

Perfect place for a relaxing getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at the Stable. The house is amazing, & we loved sitting by the fire at night playing scrabble & eating the gourmet meals that are available. Waking up to the cute farm animals and making a delicious brekkie with the provided food was also lovely. When we’re back in Tassie we’ll definitely come back & recommend it to all our friends who are visiting too!
