Thank you for the stay. As to the grass, Dean broke his ribs that caused delay in yard maintainance. He did cut the grass after you check out so as to not disturb you and then end up breaking the glass of the sliding doors. Just unfortunate event. Anyway, glad to know your stay has been wonderful despite the grass situation. Thank you again for the stay.

Thank you for your review. Apology for missing your message. We are a very attentive host and response as soon as we see the messages. Sometimes we experienced technical issues and the app doesn't show messages until later. As to the well water, running the faucets for a few minutes usually clears it out. For the A/C, our energy rate is high in our area and running the A/C 24hrs a day is costly and wasteful. In our instructions, we asked guests to keep the fans on while they're gone. This will keep the house temp down. Our pricing is at the low end and doesn't account for a high energy cost if AC is left on 24hrs. We will look into scheduling it to turn on a certain time in the afternoon. Thank you for the stay.

When we asked how was your stay no water issue was mentioned. This is your response to us "Everything is going just fine. The place is just what we expected and just what we need. Trips to the park have been great with the weather being very reasonable for this time of the year." If you have told us about the water we would have addressed it. We have a well water that has some iron on it. We had our water tested and it is normal in the mountain area to have iron on the water. It is the same well water source for our main home and we've been drinking, showering from this well water for the last 20 years and if it is a hazard we would have been sick by now. We have a whole house water filter to help with the iron. We never had a complaint about the water from our other guests. And if there's some turbidity it usually goes away after we flushed the system. To say our place is a hazard is a bit harsh and when you didn't even let us know of the issue right from the start so we could do something about it. And we could have provided you with bottled waters while we try to fix the issue so you don't have to purchased it. What could have been the reason of the water issue was that the place has been empty for two weeks due to fire cancellations and some iron must have settle in the pipes and was being flush once faucets/shower are being use again. If Charles told us, we could have the filter regenerate and flush the whole system. The water at the main house was not showing any of this issue. We hope that our prospective guests won't take this against us and know that this is an anomaly during Charles stay and is not a normal occurrence. And to assure our prospective guests, we would further look into this and take action. Thank you.
