Our vacation was fantastic! Communication with the host has outstanding - proactive, thorough and timely. The home is beautiful; our granddaughter loved all the amenities for children. The kitchen was supremely well stocked, the pool was delightful, and access to the beach was seamless and easy.

We all (there were 13 of us) had a fantastic time. So many things to do - it was wonderful. We had 3 families w/ total of 7 kids - they had such a great time. This is a 100% awesome place. Thank yuo

A perfect place for family. Lots of toys, chairs and beach chairs. Impressive amount. The house was perfect. Little kids room was to die for. There are movies and books everywhere. We will return!Carol was an excellent communicator. We did not need anything. Dewey, her contractor was extremely responsive on very simple things. You will not go wrong here.Thank you Carol & Dewey - you are the best! Have a great summer.

Everything was so easy! The house is beautiful and equipped with everything you need! The kids had so much in the pool and playing ping pong! We had an awesome time!!

GREAT family beach week!

This house is AMAZING ... just bring your bathing suit and sunscreen, as everything else is provided (beach/pool towels, beach toys, beach/pool chairs, every piece of cookware and kitchen gadgetry you can imagine, pack n' plays, high chairs -- you name it, this house has it! Right on the beach and includes a wonderful pool. We had SO MUCH FUN! Great location - close to shopping and Surf City, but very private, quiet and safe for kids.

Spectacular, we will be back!

This was the best outfitted house we have rented at the beach. The kitchen was amazing, filled with all the stuff you could ever want and even more (like an ice cream machine). The rooms were excellent, there was plenty of space for family hang out time. The pool and deck furniture was top notch. We look forward to coming back.

Great beach house with elevator and pool!

Our family stayed for a week and loved the heated pool and hot tub. Beach access was easy! The elevator was crucial for our 93y/o mother. The dogs loved their dog runs! House included all the amenities and a wonderful kitchen and large tables for eating both inside and out.Great location!

We ALL had an amazing stay at this beautiful beachfront home. 5 Stars 10/10 The house was really roomy - perfect for our multi-generational family group. Btw, the elevator made it easy for my 84yo mom to enjoy all levels. All of the family, especially the kids, loved the heated pool (adults loved that the kids had something fun to do!!!) We brought our dog, Snowy, a white-lab - and it was SO easy to have Snowy with us! Cannot forget to mention the incredible ocean views - it was so wonderfully fun and relaxing. Also, host was fabulous and very communcative and responsive - which was great b/c we had a few questions re. some recommnedations, and she reposnded really quickly. Again, truly a 10/10 stay. We all want to definitely come back!

This house is amazing and doesn’t disappoint! The description underestimates the home! Take your clothes, sunscreen and food…everything else is there! Towels, beach towels, beach chairs, 2 ice makers, games and puzzles galore and more! The location is fantastic! 5 minutes to grocery store, restaurants and shopping. The home itself…wow! Every detail was thought out so your vacation is the best it can be! Including flashlights places all around - great added touch!We have a large family and this home met everyone’s needs and wants. My elderly dad is blind and has a hard time navigating new places, but the master in the main floor was perfect! He could sit on the porch and listen to the ocean, easily get in and out of the shower, get to the kitchen, and navigate to the beach by the elevator and only 6 total stairs. The ramp to the beach is what ultimately sold me on renting this home, that was a game changer!Thank you, Carol for your thoughtful and welcoming home! Dewey was also fantastic! Book this home, it will set your bar high for all your other vacations!

Great house and owners!

We have been renting houses at Topsail for 25 years and this is the best as far as size, location and amenities. Whenever you go on vacation there are going to be glitches...what we experienced were minor and quickly corrected by Carol and Dewey. Great experience! Definitely want to come back

Amazing!!!

From the time that we pulled into the driveway until our time was over our experience was truly amazing. Everything we needed was there and ready upon arrival allowing us to just relax. I had a few questions during our stay and Carol's responses were immediate. We would definitely love to come back again.

Amazing Home for Family Vacation

This home is spot on. The beach view and close proximity is amazing. The kitchen is super big and fully stocked with everything you need. The pool and hot tub were clean. All the furniture was cozy and comfortable. The forth floor master was my favorite spot. The owners were easy to communicate with and provided quick feedback. Very clean home and bathrooms. We loved our stay and hope to book again soon.

Amazing!

This house was perfectly amazing!!! What a peaceful retreat - even with 6 teenagers! We had more space than we needed which was perfect. Idyll by the Sea 2 had all the amenities plus conveniences - laundry detergent, fabric softener, hand soap, garbage bags, beach towels, spices, etc. Truly you just need to bring your clothes, get groceries and ENJOY!!! Would love to go back.

Perfect Home for Our Family Vacation!We absolutely loved our stay! This home was perfect for our family of 11 and truly exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out while still having wonderful spaces where we could all be together and enjoy our family vacation.One of the things we appreciated most was how handicapped accessible the home was. It made such a difference for our family and allowed everyone to comfortably enjoy the house and our time together.The home was beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We made so many special memories here and were genuinely sad when it was time to leave. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to other families — especially larger or multigenerational families looking for a home where everyone can be together comfortably. Definitely a 5-star stay!

50th Anniversary celebration

A beautiful house in a perfect beachfront location. Everything you need is there so packing is a breeze. The pool is large with very nice furniture surrounding. All the many outdoor spots are lovely. The indoor space is large enough for big family meals and fun. We had 16 family members. Everyone had a wonderful time!

Spring break escape!

One Of A Kind!!!!

Amazing from start to finish. The owner (Carol) was awesome to work with. The house was in a league of it's on. So well organized with labels and instructions which I loved. We all really enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. We spent alot of time at the beach theres nothing like being steps from the ocean. This was one of our greatest vacations. Thank You Idyll Rentals

All inclusive luxury

We had an amazing week here! The owner was very responsive and provided comprehensive information about the property and local area. The beach (steps from the house) was not crowded even for an August week. The house included everything we could possibly need and more, including lovely baby and kid favorites and a thoughtful welcome basket. The pool and spa suite made the stay feel like a private resort. Plenty of room for 3 families and a few grandparents. Highly recommend!!

Absolutely fabulous home perfect for family gathering!

Our whole family gathered in this beautiful seaside home to celebrate my mother’s birthday. The owner went out of her way to make sure we had a perfect experience. The decor was amazing high quality sheets and towels. The kitchen was incredible! Such a lovely lovely home. Thank you!

Lovely, warm, and welcoming cottage

There were so many good things about Idyll By The Sea Two - abundant luxurious bath towels, a most generous welcoming gift bag filled with things to make you feel like an invited guest, and fine toiletries in each bathroom. Great environment for my 2 dogs - dog treats, dishes, leashes, disposable bags and a dog yard. The beautiful and dear pictures on every wall made me smile - so many lovely things to look at. We were there Easter Week, and there were Easter arrangements everywhere I looked! Of course, the best part is the location of the beach and the warm heated pool. My grandkids enjoyed the ocean and pool every day even on cool days! My husband is very disabled, and the handicap accessible bathroom was so well equipped. I want to thank the owners for allowing my family - grown children and grandchildren - to stay in this very friendly and lovely home. I hope to be able to return.
