Amazing home base for me and my family whenever staying in the Elmore area! Beautiful, clean and comfortable home situated with lovely views of Mt. Elmore, and near everywhere we want to be. Terrific outdoor space, too, for our whole family. Mary Anne and Elsie are wonderful and responsive hosts who have thought of everything, in terms of home furnishings, linens and kitchen/cooking tools and placewares. This was our 3rd time, at least, renting this great house. We always look forward to pulling up in the driveway.

We absolutely loved this home. It was new, very clean, fully equipped and a stunning view of Mt Elmore. Highly recommend and would stay there again.

Perfect spot!

My wife and I stayed for a long weekend in the summer. The place is perfect with amazing views and all the modern amenities one could want. It is just a short, scenic drive from Stowe and all the outdoor attractions.

Third stay at this beautiful house

MaryAnne and Elsie are excellent, welcoming hosts and their gorgeous, well equipped, super clean home is a joy to stay in. The quiet setting, the view, the great communication with the hosts all make it so lovely. This is my family's third stay, and we will definitely be back.

Great place to stay

This is a place I've come back to several times now, and it never disappoints. Mary Anne and Elsie are fanastic hosts, the house is always reliably appointed and clean and fun to stay in. I highly recommend it.

Perfect respite

We were just staying overnight, to facilitate a sad family journey, and the house and the setting were the perfect balm to soothe our frayed nerves. I hope to be able to come back again, for a longer stay.

Secluded but not too secluded

We had visited for a five day weekend Nice location close to many things We were at Burlington one day, Montreal CA another, Stowe another, great open yard for kids to play. Everybody enjoyed it a lot.

Perfect spot near the lake

Our friends and I really enjoyed our stay in this Elmore home. At the end of the road, there was plenty of privacy and yet close to the lake. The house was clean and comfortable with everything one would need for a trip away from home. My only wish was that we had more time to stay there.

Vermont getaway

This home was the perfect mountain retreat! Quiet, clean, spacious and amazing location, close to Stowe. Mary Anne was a fabulous host! Quick to respond and so gracious and welcoming. I highly recommend this home as a getaway alone or with family/friends and I will be definitely be back in the future!

What a view!

Great stay at the mountain house. It was exactly as advertised and exceptionally clean. It had all the small things to make the stay comfortable, and enough room for a family of 5. Would stay again on our next trip to Stowe. Mary Anne was very responsive to any questions we had.

Lovely stay in Vermont

We were a group of 6 and we really enjoyed our one-night stay at the Elmore house. The place has everything you need for a comfortable visit: fireplace, grill, well-equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms. The host is welcoming and responsive, and provided us with helpful information about the area. Thank you so much!

Very clean, beautiful, cozy house it’s gorgeous views

5 of us stayed here during our weekend Ski trip and we loved it. Two futons turn into beds for larger crowds, and the upstairs kitchen is a nice place to gather and hang out before sleep and also to get a beautiful view of the mountains during sunrise. We would highly recommend.
