La cosa grandiosa di questa casa è la sua vicinanza alla spiaggia e che grazie alla vasca idromassaggio, al portico coperto e ai comfort moderni è un ottimo posto dove piovere o splendere. Mi sforzo davvero di migliorare continuamente questa casa e rendere l'esperienza del mio ospite sempre migliore. Ho appena finito il mio ultimo round di aprile 2019 con un bagno completamente nuovo e impianti idraulici in tutto e continua a diventare più bello. Internet ad alta velocità, nuova vasca idromassaggio marzo 2014. Luogo ideale per fuggire da Portland e svolgere il proprio lavoro o studiare. La spiaggia è a due isolati di distanza. Il lago è a un isolato di distanza. TV a schermo piatto da 50 pollici, Apple TV, lettore DVD, nuovi mobili viventi luglio 2016, cavo, stereo con collegamento IPOD, barbecue, pavimenti in bambù, letti più recenti. Cucina con ripiani in granito e snack bar. Un buon avvertimento che i pavimenti sono un po 'ondulati in alcuni punti anche se strutturalmente sani. Posti tavolo da pranzo 8. Eccellente per chi ha bambini. Lavatrice, asciugatrice, bagno fuori dal padrone con il più nuovo letto Queen Posturepedic Sealy e 560 fogli conta fili e un comodo piumino con piumino Percale. La terza camera da letto ha un letto a castello con un nuovo materasso full size Sealy sul fondo e un gemello in alto. Puoi vedere Twin Rocks di fronte alla cabina. Più nuovo riscaldamento senza condotto e unità A / C. A due isolati dalla migliore spiaggia di Rockaway che si trova direttamente di fronte al Twin Rocks. Parcheggio per un camper sul lato. Grande nuoto e pesca nel lago di primavera che si trova a un isolato di distanza. Buona nautica a meno di un miglio di distanza nel Lago Lytle. Garibaldi si trova a circa 4 miglia di distanza con accesso alla pesca oceanica. Mountain bike 1/2 miglio di distanza. This was such a fun beach house! A very short walk to the beach, had great facility! Beds were very comfortable, kitchen well supplied. Backyard was super fun! Loved the hot tub and firepit. It was a great place for a getaway to the beach. Easy check in and check out. I would for sure stay here again.

This is the second time we've booked this property, because it fits our two small familes so perfectly. It's cozy, we can bring our dogs, it's in a great location and had everything we are looking for in a rental. Small but well-stocked kitchen, a TV that is way bigger than we have at home (plus one in the bedroom), a good sized dining table that is also perfect for playing games, and comfy couches to relax into at the end of a day after a busy day at the coast and then soaking in the hot tub. Great restaurants nearby, and the host has some excellent recommendations left for guests in the house. We'll be back!

It is a lovely location. Kitchen was beautiful and well furnished . Beds comfortable. Hottub was hot upon arrival but the water needed to be cleaned. Overall, a great spot for our family and dog.

We stayed 3days/2 nights, bed was ok, not the most comfortable. Sheets are polyester, pillows had stains. Having a hot tub was nice, the house has whatever you need for showering. For the hot tub area, the fence isn’t that private, has enough gaps to see the neighbor gardening vice versa. The fence has no privacy really, don’t mind except the hot tub area, we don’t want people being able to see us in the hot tub. Privacy overall was good besides noticing the neighbor gardening while we were in the hot tub. Did our best to clean up after ourselves and left it how we found it, although we noticed the floors are pretty dirty with dog hair and dirt. Overall the hot tub was nice and hot, the place had nice tvs and the privacy was good besides the fence area around the hot tub. Dog friendly which is great

I’m sorry these guests had this experience. I’ve never heard this about the hot tub not being private. Must have been a neighbor out a lot. The fence is 6 feet tall with overlapping fence boards. You can definitely see over the fence when you’re standing on the deck but there’s about 3 to 4 feet above the hot tub. It’s always felt pretty private when you’re sitting in it. Pictures are accurate so you can judge for yourself:) I’ll get some new pillows. Beds are newer Sealy Posturepedics from Costco. Generally people love them. Sheets are replaced often and are super soft. Cotton ones tended to get scratchy and faded quickly. I really take great care in my houses, stay in them often, and try to improve them over time to what I would want.

Girls' weekend

We really enjoyed our stay. This place has great amenities...hot tub, fire pit, fenced yard for the dogs, and easy access to the beach. It was the perfect get-away!

Pleasant retreat!

Very pleasant, well stocked place to stay! Tom's recomendations were spot on. Pirate Cove was a nice place with very good food and the ancient cedar right down the street was a cool sight to see! We had fun and were very pleased with our accommodations!

Lovely coast rental

We enjoyed our stay here. It is a very sweet beach cottage. The yard was very secure for our dog which was awesome. We will be back.

Perfect Little House

Perfect size for a family of 4. Yard and hot tub were great. So close to a path to the beach. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a simple house for you and your family

Great time. Great location! We enjoyed access to nature. There was sand in the hot tub when we opened it. We tried to clean it out the best we could. We are interested in staying at the other rentals as well. Thank you!

Great get away in Rockaway!

We loved this quirky and charming property! Perfect for our little group and two dogs. The two adjoining bedrooms were perfect for us and our daughter. Kitchen was great, and plenty of space in the dining area and living room for meals and playing games. TVs and WiFi were great. Nearest beach was lovely and steps away and the hot tub was perfect at the end of a long day. We loved that it was dog friendly with a fenced in yard! Looking forward to booking again sometime for a longer stay!

Great place to stay

Yes, the house itself is imperfect, but it is clean, comfortable, and has some nice touches. Hot tub is great, as us backyard and front porch. Comfortable beds, nice appliances, plenty of kitchenware and linens. This property manager has done a great job anticipating the renters needs. Easy access to everything, but in a quiet neighborhood. We stayed a week and it was great.

We had a very rough start to our stay. First, as soon as we walked into the beach house, we were hit with the STRONG smell of cigarette smoke, mold, & animal urine. As a ex-smoker, & know very well what it smells like. Due to my daughter’s health issues, we couldn’t sincerely rest the first night without airing the entire house out for roughly six hours. Had to go get medication, & supplements just so that my daughter could rest. My allergies were a bit sensitive as well. Secondly, was NOT adequately cleaned prior to our getting there. From what we could tell; the bedding, kitchen sink, & the fridge were the only thing cleaned. The oven was filth and smoked heavily, as we tried to cook dinner. There was aluminum foil at the bottom of the oven covering the build up. The top of the oven hadn’t had much attention either. Toaster needs replaced. Soiled spots on the both pieces of wall art. The house seemed to have layer of dusty & floors didn’t seemed to have bee moped for quite a while. We all wore socks inside, but were filthy when taken off to go to bed. The house was not level at all & there are holes in the seams of the ceilings & walls. Again, Obvious smell of mold! Hot tub ISN’T new, jets didn’t work well & algae was present. Yuck! Owner seemed to want to help a bit by offering a refund, but there was nowhere else to stay. Mentioned to use their Ozinator when we were away, but that also showed us that there were concerns. Would love to have a partial refund.

Difficult guest from the get go even before they arrived. I offered her a full refund right off but even with all these complaints she elected to stay the whole time. Cleaners generally do a great job but it’s hard for me to say which of these issues were real. I would have been happy to give her a partial refund but not after a review like this after I tried to be so accommodating. Check the other reviews. In general people love this place and I work hard to keep it nice.

Rockaway is a great town with a good selection of fun shops and restaurants. This property is close to the beach and in a great spot for multiple adventures with the kids or a special someone.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

I love hanging out on the front porch while it's raining. It's nice to relax in the hot tub after a walk at the beach. The high speed internet makes it a great place to work or study away from home for not too much money. Beds are super comfortable and everything you need is provided to have a relaxing vacation.
