June was very conscientious about leaving my cottage exactly as she found it. She is a a delightful woman and her dog behaved perfectly. It pleases me so much to hear that she enjoyed what I believe is a beautiful area. I love to accommodate grandparents because it is lovely to see them build their relationship with their grandchildren. I would love for June to return!

There are a few things that I will mention in the hopes of helping you find just the right place for your vacation. First, lets talk about Curtains. One of the lower bedroom windows has no curtain because it is 4 feet off the ground. I must stand on tip toes to see out of it. There are two windows in the bathroom, one of which is over 4 feet off the ground and also has no curtain, the other is between the toilet and tub, but - even at night - you would need a ladder to see in or alternatively, you would literally have to hang out of the window in order to see anything from the outside. A window in that location is a little strange, but with the trees and the position of the window, I have never felt like there was anything to be concerned about as far as privacy. 2nd, The View. The Sea View from the cottage is best when the leaves are off the trees, but I think the idea is to go outside, walk around and smell the wonderful air. When there is a full moon over Clam Cove, I dare you to show me a better view or try the beach when the trees are in full color. That is so amazing that I moved here. 3rd, Easy or Fussy? The couch was not comfortable and so it has been replaced with something a little bigger and I think more comfortable and it should work well with animals. I have kept things fairly simple. Less stuff means less fuss and I think that is why you take a vacation in the first place. I am often told that I have thought of everything, but my place is not filled with frills. 4th, Last but not least: A lot of people like my place just the way it is. I hope you will come and see for yourself.

Lovely guests. They said they enjoyed the fact that I fly the flag of Canada and Quebec - where they were from. The ocean view is best in the fall and winter. Guests usually comment on how quiet and peaceful it is here especially in the evening and at night when they are most likely to be home.
