The house was beyond wonderful! The listing is very accurate and the little details make it even better once you're there. If you like to cook like our family, you'll be impressed with the kitchen set up and cooking utensil selection - best I've ever seen in a rental property. My sons (age 4 and 1) slept comfortably, loved the beach, and got to adventure on the rail trail right outside the property. We can't wait to return!

This is a fabulous location. Seymour Pond is quiet and peaceful, we made good use of all the house offers, kayaks, paddle boards and sand toys. The small sandy beach makes enjoying the water easy. The evenings were delightful with the sun sets and the propane fire pit. Just a beautiful place to be. The owners are responsive and helpful. The house is charming. Thank you for a lovely week Aruna.

Aruna was an exceptional hostess!! I have rented a lot of properties from VRBO and she was the best ever. She checked in with me multiple times during our stay to see if we needed anything. And her property, with the lake view and beach, were outstanding! I have to stay I was stunned when I entered the house - with the view and her decorative skills it wowed me. I was looking for a place to rest up after a hectic spring and summer, and this filled the bill. Thanks, Aruna! We hope to get back there again in the not too distant future.

Firstly, the Hosts are amazing! Extremely responsive , flexible requests, explanation the property was VIP and recommendations to restaurant's in the area was extremely helpful. The property was better than what the amazing pictures reflect, beautifully decorated everywhere, spa touches in each bathroom, very comfortable beds ( we were 6 adults). The kitchen dining area is beautiful and perfect for families that like to gather and eat, have a few drinks and enjoy the water sunset views. Stop scrolling and just book this amazing house.

Perfect cottage with beautiful, tasteful decor. Seems very updated. Comfy beds, pillows and couches. Fully stocked kitchen, coffee, creamer and spices. (You will need to bring condiments). Great central location. Very responsive owner. Would give more stars if that were an option.

Amazing and peaceful

Incredible memories made here we definitely want to come back. My partner, mother, and two kids had an incredible time with the water, the trails, the little beach. The style and comfort is amazing and the place is very clean. Couldn’t have been happier thank you so much!

Lake House Gem

Everything was great- the home is beautiful and so comfortable with an amazing patio out front and the pond at your feet. Great location! Owner was helpful, responsive to questions and took care of a minor repair immediately.

Best vacation

Beautiful property. Very well maintained. Owners helpful and very thoughtful in making guests feel comfortable. Loved the bike path and kayaking every day. Outdoor patio was so enjoyable . Would definitely rent this property again.

Wonderful vacation

We had a wonderful time at this property. It is very centrally located on the cape, so it never felt like we had to drive for a very long time. The kitchen was well stocked, and the home was very comfortable. We loved the beach right out the back door! The pond water was very warm and great for kayaking. Thanks for a great stay!

Idyllic property

The cottage is a beautiful well-appointed home on Seymour Pond. Loved the kayaks and paddleboards and watching sunsets from amazing back patio. Great kitchen and outdoor grill made cooking for our big family a breeze. The house was everything we could ask for! Highly recommend!

Beautiful cottage!

Stunning cottage steps from the pond, great location, with all the amenities for a fun vacation. Beds were comfortable too! Description and pictures of cottage in the profile is accurate. You will not be disappointed. The cottage is located in what I would consider the middle of Cape Cod. Ideal location for shopping, sightseeing and the bike trail is just a few feet from the cottage. Communication with Aruna was excellent. She was quick to respond to my questions from the moment we booked the cottage and also during our vacation when we had a couple of questions. We all just loved this lovely cottage.

The Lakeshore Cottage was amazingly beautiful! The location was perfect, complete privacy, beautiful grounds, very well maintained and directly on the Cape Cod Rail Trail! We walked and walked and walked some more - stunning views! Kayaks, canoe, bikes available for use right on the property. The pond provides different views throughout the day from the stillness in the morning to the waves with the wind in the afternoon. We loved the ducks visiting us on the shore and the bunnies in the front yard. Weather was great for enjoying the firepit at the end of the day on the well-furnished patio. The house was immaculate! Beautifully decorated, comfortable furniture and well stocked kitchen. The host has thought of everything that you could need including tons of games, extra beach towels and cozy blankets for sitting out at the fire. Communication / booking was easy and replies were immediate. Videos provided for the use of blinds, heating, and fire pit were extremely helpful. This vacation has left us peaceful and rested - what an awesome time we had. Highly recommend. We have already booked our next trip and cannot wait to return! Thank you Aruna. :-)

Beautiful location...lots to do!

The house was perfect for our family of five. Plenty of space for everyone and a kitchen with everything we needed. The best part of this place, by far, is the location! We brought bikes and pedaled right out of the driveway onto the bike path. Great little general store in one direction with nice pond views and a quiet ride in the other direction took us for a trip through the woods. Our kids enjoyed fishing and swimming right from the back yard and the kayaks got a lot of use while we were there. What a gem! This was the perfect spot for our very active young boys and us to enjoy a few days away. Driving distance to plenty of ocean beaches and lighthouses, but nothing beat the sunset right from the patio. We can't wait to go back!

Spectacular!

This cottage was so beautifully decorated and so comfortable that the only thing more amazing was the incredible view of the lake! Looking through the big picture window in the living room gave us a front row seat for beautiful sunsets. My husband and I went with another couple and my mother. We all had a wonderful time! We even wrapped up in some blankets and sat around the fire pit on the gorgeous patio. Aruna was a terrific host. She sent us information with fantastic restaurant recommendations. (Don't miss the Ocean House in Dennisport. It was delicious!) I'm hoping to get back in the summer so I can go for a swim :)

Wonderful home in the perfect spot!

We had an amazing stay at Aruna's home. The house itself is very clean and beautifully decorated. We were a family of 6 (4 teenagers!). The house was spacious enough for all and we were very comfortable. Also, the beds were great! I am always worried about the quality of the beds when we rent a home and these were fabulous. Really, everything in the house was perfect and just super easy to live in. The location was beautiful. With Cape Cod beaches being so packed (or super cold water), it was great to have the pond to swim in and play on. We were in the water every day. The teens, flexing their independence, went out and explored most days. My husband and I were very content to just hang out by the pond. We never felt the need to leave except to go check out some baseball games. There is a public beach next to the house so you are "sharing" with others but everyone is just out to enjoy themselves and, again, it's much more private than the beaches. Communication with Aruna was easy and she responded quickly to any questions (as in, can we use the extra beach towels??). You can tell she loves her home and wants others to enjoy it as well. We certainly did!

The only thing I would disagree with is that the beach is “shared”. We have our own private beach and the public beach next-door is behind a fence and shrubs. We had a very brief stay, only one night, but we had a lovely stay! The house is beautiful and well-appointed, location is great, and communication with Aruna was so easy and made for such a nice stay! We loved how quiet the pond was at night, and were pleasantly surprised by how undeveloped it was. We were lucky to be able to book this house last-minute for just one night and hope to stay longer next time!

Idyllic, chic cottage

We have been renting on the Cape for years and Lakeside cottage was by far our favorite. The location was not only gorgeous, right on the pond with breathtaking sunsets, but so convenient with the bike path right out front. The landscaping, flowering window boxes, comfortable and chic decorations, bikes and watercraft we didn’t have to lug down made it really feel like a high end vacation. The touches that stood out were new soaps, shower liner and foot towels, matching towel sets, incredibly comfortable bedding, and pottery barn decor. The kitchen and 2nd bath update will make it even more elegant, but overall, 5 star attention to detail, communication, cleanliness and location can’t be beat. Lakeside is exactly what we’ve been looking for and can’t wait to return. Thank you Aruna!
