Overall we had a great vacation. We had everything we needed at this resort and barely left it. The condo was very nice and well kept. We would definitely stay there again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family loved our rental of 1801 for our first trip to Myrtle Beach. The rental was very nice, clean and well stocked. My only recommendation is to have the living room couch and love seat cleaned or replaced. Other than that I would for sure rent this condo again and th resort is so much fun and the location is my favorite area.

Family vacation

When we arrived, I knew the place would be nice. It has the perfect view of the ocean. I'm glad we picked this condo. If I would've pick downtown Mrytle, we'd probably have left early. The beaches are nice. Quarter deck had great food and drinks. So many pools. Overall great family trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Communication with management was good. Check in was easy. This particular condo was very dirty. Slops on appliances and food in appliances and bathroom mirrors, our socks were brown from the floors. The screen door did not work neither did the venting in the bathrooms. The pools are not heated this time of year! Don't let management say that they are.

The communication with the host/front desk person was great by phone. We were able to get an early check in which was appreciated. It was nice to have security when entering the grounds. Location was good. We chose this stay because it was on the ocean. Down side and we let management know. Our condo was disgustingly dirty, appliances had food/spills in them (microwave, air fryer) finger prints on them. Kitchen sink has not ever had a cleaning as it Spots on bathroom mirrors. Could write your name in the dust on shelving. Our socks were brown from the floors. Not sure if windows have ever been washed! Patio screen door doesn’t work, neither do either if the fan vents in the bathrooms.

Otherwise unit was clean and nice. Resort amnesties were mostly closed but under circumstances we understood. Staff was pleasant and management company was very nice to work with during rental process.

A lovely place to stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The resort had everything we needed. It was exactly as show in the photos. We took advantage of all the pools, hot tubs, and other amenities offered. Our children had so much fun! We used the laundry facilities and they were priced well and worked nicely. The restaurant and cafe allowed us to not need to leave the resort. Everything from our stay was wonderful and we will likely be returns and try to stay in this condo again. The only small con was the karaoke. We were staying with small children and it was incredibly loud until 11:00pm. I could tell the guests weee having a good time but it made it difficult to get the children to sleep. Once it ended at 11, it was very quiet and serene to hear the waves outside our unit.

5 night vacation-Tower 1801

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, the condo 1801 was nice. You get your own gate code into the resort, code on the unit code so no worrying about keys. The view from the 18th floor was amazing. When we arrived the rental was cleaned but could definitely use a deep clean. Large tv in the living area for late night movies. I felt safe the whole time during our stay. The condo could use some drywall repairs and a new paint job. Lacked basic cooking utensils e.g., sharp knives, potato peeler that worked. The pictures show a Keurig but the unit didn’t have one so bring ground coffee. The couches are in need of a deep clean or replacement. Luckily I read the reviews about the couches before hand and brought some blankets to cover them. We could have used another dish towel and wash rag. They only supplied 1. We didn’t mind the karaoke at night, you can hear it until 11pm but it was entertaining. There are plenty of amenities at the resort to keep everyone busy. I didn’t like having to pay $10 a day to park. The beach water was very murky, i didn’t go in past my ankles. The staff was very friendly, clean instructions for check in and check out.

This place has almost everything you'd want in a beach trip...but unfortunately there were just practical issues that held our stay back. It started when we got to the unit and it reeked of weed. Granted, they had no smoking signs all over the unit but clearly a previous tenant did not listen and we were left with the smell all week. In terms of features, there were a ton of pools. Unfortunately they were all very far a part which added a lot of walking. Driving to the pools would be easier but the parking situation at the Renaissance is not ideal. All the parking is quite far away which was made more frustrating because once you got to the tower there are only 3 elevators (all located in same spot) in a 21-floor building. Good luck with that at 4:00 on check-in day which happened most days we were there. The Quarter Deck bar is down below the unit so if you like karaoke then that is a great. If you like sleeping at night however, it's not ideal. Luckily we had sound machines to help sleep but you could hear the music above that especially when they had a live band. I will say the views from the unit especially of sunrise are spectacular but don't expect much room on the balcony to see them. Fourth of July fireworks were awesome though! Could see them up and down the beach.

Deep clean needed

The hallway to the room 1801 smelled like cow poop. When you got closer it smelled like dirty bum. The unit smelled clean when we went in though. The back of the chairs at the table were dirty. Like could scrape the dirt off them with your nail. The hutch I ended up wiping down cause their was dried things stuck to it. Bedspread had a hard crusty brown spot on it. The sofa and loveseat had a stain on the back of each. Thankful we brought blankets to put down cause….eww. Rooms are small. Don’t expect to sleep on the pull out couch. Bars to the back. Very thin and worn. No one would ever describe it as comfy. The bar below was entertaining. Expect to pay $10/drink. People also sing until 11pm. They sing very badly too! Stray cats are everywhere if you like cats. Also geese and ducks. All over the place strolling around and pooping so wear shoes. They closed the water park on site so they could paint buckets. Not sure what sense this made when they could’ve just waited a few weeks when they officially closed it for the season. Lazy River was great. Pool was great. Ramps to the beach were great.

Beautiful vacation with!

This place is so nice. We stayed in Renesance Tower (Myrtle Beach Resort), in the 18th floor, had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen, living room and dining area was an open concept and the balcony was huge to the front of the ocean and it was great. Nice gated resort on the beach. Lots of amenities for families, several pools including lazy river, tennis courts, basketball courts, etc. Large resort with several picnic areas with cookers. Nicely landscaped with ponds with ducks, geese, and a swan and so much more right here on the property. Really you could park and not need to leave. The location of this property is very ideal for families. The "gated community" feel with on site security is a huge plus. Quick walk to the beach. My family really enjoyed our time there.
