Villa Santa Rosa

Villa Santa Rosa is your perfect coastal getaway. This 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with 2,150 square feet of space features canal views. This home is ideally located, and is just under 2 miles from the Yacht Club Public Beach. To top it off, this home has a heated pool and canal front tiki!

From the moment you step into Villa Santa Rose, this will feel like your home away from home tropical paradise! You are immediately greeted by the light streaming in and the tall ceilings. The living room has a large flat screen TV. Making the home feel even more cozy, there is a fireplace in the living room. This home features an open floor plan and just adjacent from the living room is the kitchen. The kitchen has two bar stools, and there is also a separate breakfast table with seating for two, and a separate formal dining area with seating for 6 guests. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances and is well stocked with the necessary kitchen essentials.

This home features a king master bedroom, a king guest bedroom, a queen guest bedroom, and double bed guest bedroom. The master bedroom features a beautiful master bathroom ensuite with a separate tub and shower as well as his and hers sinks. The master bedroom has direct access to the pool and also had a large flat screen TV.

A key feature of the property is the beautiful outside lanai area and heated pool. When you step outside there is a covered patio with lounge style seating, ceilings fans, and outdoor table with seating for six guests. There are several chairs around the pool to soak up the Florida sun! To get some shade there are also sun umbrellas out on the lanai an dock area. And although you have probably already fallen in love with the home, there is also a charming tiki outside on the dock. The dock is also available for guest

Girls trip

Visiting from Ohio with my daughter and my sister. Thought other friends might go but couldn’t make it. The property is beautiful, so much room. The pictures don’t lie. We had a great time. Close to a lot of shops. Drove to several beaches that were mostly 35 minutes away. There are only 2 small things that I wanted to address. There should be a skimmer for the pool available and there are several remotes throughout the house that need relabeled. Other than that we hope to be back soon. Thank you, Girls from Ohio

Would not recommend

The house was dirty and musty smelling. We had to wash some sheets before we slept on them as they looked unwashed and had several hairs on them. Some of the dishes were also dirty so we had to hand wash what we used first. The BBQ utensils were rusty and just plain gross. The property is definitely older and in need of several updates/repairs & a thorough cleaning. We are very laid back, understanding and considerate people, so we let a lot of this go while we were on vacation, but for the amount of money you put into renting a home, it was such a shame to not feel comfortable in it. The pictures make it look a lot nicer than it actually is. The carpeting is very stained and worn. We should have done a little more research on this place, but we were in a rush to book something so last minute. The storage box on the outdoor decking area is filled with mainly broken items-ping pong paddles that have no handles, pool/beach toys etc, most of which should be thrown away. The ping pong table is not actually a real ping ping table, it's mini size. The umbrella for the beach was torn and broken so that was really unfortunate to find out when really needed some shade on the beach. The toilet in the master bathroom is in need of service along with a few of the doors. We've stayed in 20 vacation rentals in the FL area, and this is one of the worst we've rented.

Stay away

Over the years I have booked rentals through VRBO over a dozen times in the Cape Coral area, this property is by far the worst we have every stayed in. Access to the house is dated compared to most, still using lock box compared to most places having a key pad on the door. Upon entry into the house you are greeted with a very strong smell of mildew. We tried to get the ceiling fans running to circulate some airflow, the remotes for the ceiling fans did not work, the one in the master bedroom did work, however the fan had a loud clanging noise which was annoying. The mattress in the master was terrible, one half was completely collapsed. On the Lanai, the cushion covers for the furniture were covered in stains and mold, after contacting Roelens (the management company) it took 3 days to have someone come and look at them, amongst other things. Cigarette buts on the paving stones beside the dinning table, generally everything in the Lanai area was extremely dirty. As we were planning on BBQ that evening I went to check the propane, I opened the front door of the BBQ and the door fell off, the propane tank was empty. The BBQ utensils were inside the BBQ, they were so rusted and dirty that no way you would touch them with any food you were going to eat. The thermostat for the AC did not work, only way to control the temperature was to turn it off occasionally, morning temperature in the house was 66 degrees. Dishwasher ran but didn't clean dishes properly,
