Cute and well- stocked casita in a quiet neighborhood convince r to many SD attractions. Jennifer was a very considerate host ensuring there were snacks and water available. She also made sure the casita was cooled down prior to our arrival during a significant heatwave!

Well set-up studio / ADU in a very quiet neighborhood exactly as advertised. We are familiar with this area because we have family nearby, and this made everything simple. The kitchenette area is pretty generous, and even with a good-size table, there's still plenty of room for everything you might bring on your trip to San Diego. Water/snack/coffee was very welcoming. Would absolutely stay here again.

I had a very comfortable stay at Jennifer's guest house. It was great for me because it was in the same neighborhood as the friend I was visiting . The bed is king size and very comfortable. Some nice touches were the Keurig coffee machine and pods as well as the wine in the fridge! It was very quiet as well . No difficulty parking in the street and the driveway was available as well. Would definitely stay again!

Very comfortable, garden studio apartment in a separate dwelling from the main house in a very quiet neighborhood. My wife and I enjoyed the clean accommodations, the comfortable bed, and beautiful garden. Refrigerator came stocked with seltzer water, a bottle of wine, and the host left out snacks and plenty of coffee pods. The host, who lives on the premises, was very welcoming and caring. Hope to be back soon!

Great Weekend Retreat

We couldn't have had a better stay...Jennifer's cottage is perfect for a weekend in San Diego...clean with everything you might need. And Jennifer is there to help as needed. And her cute dogs were a pleasure to be around. We'll definitely plan to be back again!

Wow!

Jennifer has the most well appointed room I have ever stayed in. Food and drinks in the frig, tons of current books on the shelves and soft TP! She was an attentive host, too, making for a great stay.

Best place ever

I absolutely loved every minute at Jennifer's and wish we had found it sooner (we've spent a lot of time in San Diego) and had more time there this trip. It's a beautiful, quiet, cozy, very clean and comfortable little cottage! I hated to leave. It's really perfect.

Cozy guest house with nice little garden for my dog and me if it had been warmer weather. Owner is wonderful. Supplied everything I needed including treats for me and my dog. I couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Sweet Place in excellent location!! Great Host!

I live in SD and was displaced due to termite tenting for a long weekend. This place is so nicely done, well-decorated, super quiet and comfortable. It is well-stocked with pretty much everything you need to enjoy your time. I will definitely be back to experience a stay-cation in my own city. The location is spot on. Walk through a lovely neighborhood to Kensington Village for dining, shopping, groceries, movie theater, brewery, and lots more.

Clean and quiet

Great place. Clean and a very quiet area. Easy 20 minute (approx) commute to Navy Pier and airport. We only spoke with the owner once, she is friendly and helpful. She offered us and our friends we were meeting some coolers and blankets for a football game. The home has plenty of towels, dishes, blankets and snacks. We would definitely stay again. Thanks Jennifer for your hospitality!

Wonderful Stay

Both the guest house and surrounding grounds/yard were very quiet, comfortable and welcoming. Everything was provided for a 'just like home' experience. Special touches including a welcome basket with an assortment of goodies and various beverages in the fridge were the icing on the cake. The host went above and beyond on every level: - always responsive, helpful and accomodating. I already have my next stay lined up! Kensington is a beautiful/safe neighborhood and the quality of my experience was enhanced by the location. This property is a rare find - enjoy!

Beautiful quiet space in the best neighborhood in San Diego

This is a guesthouse that is basically the most deluxe master bedroom you could ever want. A bed, bathroom, closets, plus a kitchen. Hundreds of DVDs to watch. It is a very very comfortable space. The owner is friendly and generous - she left coffee, cream, fruit and flowers for us. I cannot recommend this booking highly enough. I just left and I already want to go back. I will definitely return.

DISAPPOINTING STAY

Trouble communicating with owner re: temperature control,No TV cable service. No instructions on operating portable cook top. Bed very uncomfortable, slopes down from middle, pillows very hard.Shower not constant temperature, fluctuates from cold to hot to cold. On morning of last day woke to find small ants crawling on table. Very confined space. Would never book here again. Property looks much nicer in online listing as compared to reality.

Kensington Casita

This is such a nice place with a beautiful yard in a charming, quiet neighborhood, close to restaurants and other shops. Jennifer is very welcoming and gracious. I appreciated the coffee, fresh fruit and other treats she provided. The two adorable Westies were an added bonus. Relaxing and comfortable best describes my stay.
