Cozy and comforting

It had everything you needed. Gimli is an active place with great restaurants and bars. They are inclusive and its a beautiful location. The cabin was clean and functional, it was cozy and charming. The owner of the place was really helpful and nice!

Beautiful Getaway

Cozy home away from home, beautifully decorated and well-stocked with everything we needed. Very close to the main strip in town. Everything exceeded our expectations.

Had everything I needed during my stay.

The cottage was clean, well organized and it was easy to find everything I needed. I appreciated all the condiments I had to choose from for my meals and all the artwork that I was able to see everywhere I looked. The first night of my arrival the weather was great so I took advantage and made a fire in the front yard, something I enjoy but cannot do at home.

Nice lil getaway

Was looking to get out of the city was a bit and found this place. Just what we needed, just inside town a short walk away from the main drag. Kitchen and bathroom had everything you would need, bedroom was cozy and comfortable. Living space was the same. Definitely no regrets here. 10/10

Every time I open this email the questions disappear ! We enjoyed our stay in this lovely cabin that our host has obviously poured her heart into - we’d recommend it to someone else.

Cozy cottage

Sigrun's cottage was cozy and had everything you could need for a weekend away. The location was great too, property was beautiful with lots of trees.

Exactly How I Picture a Cottage

Great little place. Exactly how you would imagine a cottage to be. Great little beach within 2.5 blocks that is sandy bottom and not very busy. Only thing that would make this place absolutely perfect would be lake front but is exactly what we had hoped for. As advertised you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic Get Away

The overall stay at this location was fantastic. It was an excellent experience from beginning to end - this includes our original queries about property from original query about property, to the booking as well as right through and including our stay. Sigrun was great to deal with. The property itself had absolutely everything a family required to have a comfortable stay. We also used the enclosed Gazebo as an outdoor camping adventure. We loved everything!

We will be back!

We rented the cottage for 4 days in May and we loved every minute of it, from the morning coffee in the gazebo, bbq lunch on the deck to dinner and a movie in the cottage at night. The owner truly thought of everything you would need, down to every little detail. It’s in a great neighbourhood as well with a short walk to the beach.

Very Cute

We had a nice stay at Sigrun's cottage in Gimli. It is small but very cute and private. The neighbourhood was very quiet during our visit and it was just a short walk to the south beach.

Great place. Quiet and cosy. Clean with beutifull yard.

We used all the resources provided by this lovely cottage. Eventhough it rained,we still had a great time. So much to do at in town and in the property.

Lovely cottage with all the necessities. Great spot for couples or couples with older child.

Comfortable beds, good WIFI, well-stocked kitchen. Close to a lovely beach near the end of Howard Road. Enjoyed the gazebo in the morning with our coffee.

Hope this property is available for my next visit.

Had a wonderful time staying at this charming cottage. The Gazebo was a dream in the evenings, keeping us dry and free from the mosquito's. The cottage is close enough to downtown that you can walk, or use one of the bikes that were provided. The BBQ would have been used if we did not have 9 days of cold and wet weather. The two bedrooms provided ample space, and the pull out couch was a bonus for when my daughter and husband were there for the weekend. All appliances worked well, and I will bring bubble bath next time to fully enjoy the old bathtub.

Hello,
I grew up in Gimli and have family there so I wanted to have a place that I could retreat to and be close to family year round. I spend my winters in Vancouver and summers in Gimli.

This cottage has proven to be perfect for my needs, it truly is my "Happy Place" Although the cottage was close to perfect when I purchased it, it is an old farmhouse that was moved to this property in the 50's, the previous owners meticulously renovated it opening the space and building custom cabinetry throughout. I have made several upgrades to the house iincluding, fully winterizing it and installing a washer and dryer and a 12'X12' solarium/gazebo.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

Although the cottage is not far from the centre of town and the highway, it has feeling of being far from civilization, the yard is large, it is very private surrounded by trees. There is a large deck off the back and a cozy fire pit at the front. We also have a great little tree fort, and swing at the front of the property.
