Red Pine Island LOTW

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil island getaway on beautiful Whitefish Bay - Lake of the Woods. This is your perfect summer getaway to enjoy scenic kayak rides, realize the outstanding fishery of Lake of the Woods, cool off with a refreshing jump into clear blue waters, sit in the sun room with a fresh breeze as you read your new favorite novel, or enjoy a perfect glass of wine as the sun dips below the horizon to the call of loons.

This is a private island located in Whitefish Bay, Sioux Narrows on beautiful Lake of the Woods. It is a short 10 minute boat ride from downtown Sioux Narrows, Ontario.

The cottage has hydro electricity, air conditioning, a large well equipped kitchen with wrap around decks.

You will be amazed waking up to the beautiful view from a large master bedroom with a wrap around second level deck. On the main level a large bedroom with a queen bed is complemented with the third bedroom containing two bunk beds. You will find two washrooms, one on the main floor and the other on the second.

You can access the island by boat. There is a user pay boat launch at the Sioux Narrows Government dock where you can also park during your stay. Please visit the Northern Ontario Sports Fishing Centre for more information. Docking is available on the island with electrical outlets to enable charging the marine electronics on your boat.

Boat rentals are also available in Sioux Narrows or Kenora Ontario.

Other things to note: Photos are courtesy of Jake Bennett, Northwoods Realty Ltd. Water out of tap is not potable 10 gallons of drinking water will be left for your stay.

My wife, son and I stayed at red pine island for one week in mid September. The cottage was even better than what the pictures look like on the website. If you are looking for a beautifully maintained, secluded cottage to relax and enjoy nature, this is it! Lake of the woods is a Great Lake for fishing, boating, and nature watching. Paul is a really great host. It stormed a couple of nights and Paul made sure we were safe. Will come back for sure.

The host was easy to communicate with, gave accurate instruction and did everything they could to make you feel like it was your own home for the time you were there.It is a beautiful location and home. If you need a place to relax, this is it, so peaceful. The kitchen is top class, The best stocked place I have encountered on my travels.We had a wonderful and relaxed week at Red Pine Island and would like to send a big thank you to our host for being so gracious and accommodating.Bill P

Beautiful property with everything we needed for a relaxing (and fishing) vacation. The sound of the loons as I drifted off to sleep was incredible.Paul was a great host... got back to us right away with info we needed.

Incredible private island retreat surrounded by Lake of the Woods. Sunrise and sunset this is the most spectacular spot to spend your time on/off the water. The cabin is beautiful inside and out. Well appointed kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and plenty of spaces for the family to enjoy and relax. With decks, balconies and a beautiful enclosed porch, it’s easy to find a spot to enjoy on Red Pine
If you are looking north and the time is right

Red Pine is Amazing

A wonderful cabin on a private island. Very well equipped kitchen and home with views of the water from every window. Perfect floating dock is ready to weather the storm and had power to charge the boat. We all want to come back and stay soon!

Girls Getaway - “Cabin Crew Before I Do”

We had a fabulous stay at Red Pine Island. The cabin and island itself are even more beautiful than pictured. The island was easy to find, the waters were crystal clear, and the drop off at the end of the dock made for perfect swimming conditions. The cabin itself is so well put together, clean, and so much natural light with big windows that offer beautiful views of the water first thing when you wake up. The only critique I have is that all of the amenities of the property are not posted here in the listing - you have all you need as far as dishes, paper towels, toiletries, cleaning supplies etc. already stocked in the cabin for you and we weren’t aware what would be available so we could overpacked a bit. Lastly, Paul was so accommodating and really went above and beyond to facilitate coordinating our trip. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy this little piece of heaven and giving my sister an extra special getaway/celebration with her closest friends before her big day!
