Would stay again.

It is a cool place if you know what expect. The staff is very nice. The room only had a/c in the bedroom, and the ceiling fan didn't work in the living area. They did bring us a plug in fan. The restaurant and bar closes very early, so pepare. I do recommend the omelettes in the morning.

No breakfast. No services at all. No hot water. Barely any running water. Hot staff charged large margins over what the tour guides charge directly. Staff are friendly but the experience is very poor value. Prices are 10x what they should be. It is a 1 star hostel in reality.

The location of this property is perfect ! The beach and the views are excellent!!! However the property is badly in need of renovation. It is dated and the amenities are not up to par and certainly do not commensurate with the price you pay. The restaurant is over priced and the food is not great. The staff do a good job of keeping the cottages clean. The cottages should be marketed as very rustic instead of deluxe as they currently sold online. We enjoyed our stay but mainly because of the beach and the location

I was under the impression that I paid the hotel through you guys when I initially made the reservation. I was disappointed that I had to pay again. I was told that the only fee that was tacked on my credit card was Travelocity's commission and that I needed to use my credit card again. I never had to do this when I used you guys before.

This is a fantastic place. The cottages are spacious and very comfortable. Everything is very clean and staff are extremely friendly. There is a restaurant /bar next door (best to check closing times) and bars/restaurants nearby. The beach is black volcanic sand and sea is a little pebbled on entry but I cannot fault the cottages at all. We had a wonderful stay.

Convenient to Ross University and the beach

Quaint cottages steps from the beach. The cottages are very rustic and have nice kitchen amenities which allows you to buy your own groceries and have drinks and snacks in the room. The beds are not particularly comfortable, especially after about day 3 and there are no chairs on the beach. The lounge chairs by the room are the cheap plastic chairs that you can lay on for about 30 minutes before your back hurts. The beach itself is very pretty and close. Super friendly staff and good security. If you are looking for pretty and convenient but not luxury this is a decent place to stay.

Nice beach. Snorkeling nearby. Restaurant on site. Water sport center right down the beach with a large water play area for kids and various types of watercraft for rent. Close to Ross Medical University and various stores within walking distance. Nice grounds. AC in bedroom but can be hot in other rooms. Pleasant cottages.

Beach at your door

This was a wonderful hotel, the staff was so sincerely friendly and bent over backwards to make our stay the best it could be. I really can't say enough about how great the staff was!!! The cottage was just what we wanted and better than we expected. It was rustic (which we liked) and a bit out of date, but clean and had everything we needed. The front porch was where we spent most of our time if we were there at all. We wanted a room on the beach with at a minimum a kitchenette. What we got was our own individual cottage just 40-50 feet from the water on a black sand beach; it had a separate living area, fully functioning kitchen, and a wonderful porch with sling chairs, table, and bench. About 20' from the front of the cottage was a white rail fence so there was a slight separation from you and anyone who happened to be walking by on the beach which gave you a sense of privacy... however the beaches were void of people most of the time we were there. Within that area were 2 chaise lounge chairs just for us. The place was peaceful, relaxing, and yet there was decent snorkeling at the reef just off the shore to the right of the pier, and a very easy walk to the grocery, shops, and restaurants that were nearby.

Caribbean beach front cottages at reasonable price

The beach front cottage was a great value for the price. You step off your porch onto the sand beach! Cottages have a rustic Caribbean style but are very comfortable. We enjoyed the local coffee and soaps they left for us. The staff was very friendly and helpful in arranging transportation around the island. The free WiFi was surprisingly good for such a remote location!

Great place to stay in Portsmouth

If you have a reason to be in Portsmouth, this is a great place to stay. The cabins are spacious and comfortable, with great amenities (a/c, fans, kitchen, nice bathrooms, etc.). This is where the crew of Pirates of the Caribbean stayed during filming, so the cabins are fully equipped if you are planning to stay a few days. They also have round-the-clock security on-site. The cabins are right on a pleasant black sand beach with nice views of the bay, offering a lovely beach walk/run. Wish we could have stayed another night.

Excellent beach option in Dominica.

Very nice stay. Our original room had a broken refrigerator and we were offered a free upgrade since there was another cottage available. The restaurant is good and the prices very acceptable. Also to be noted that the cottages are equipped with a kitchen and there are grocery stores within walking distance if you prefer to self cater.
