We had a wonderful stay at this condo. It was clean, spacious, and well equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen was very convenient, and the location was great. We especially appreciated how comfortable and well maintained the condo was. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great! The laundry was very convenient and helpful. The pots could have been better quality but overall very clean and functional. The staff were efficient and friendly. Would definitely visit again!

We enjoyed our stay at this property! Patti @ Midway Vacations was very helpful during our late night check-in. Beds were comfortable with extra linens and towels during our stay. The property is located right across Kamaloe Beach Park I for an EASY beach access! The kitchen is clean and fully stocked which made cookimg super easy! The only downside is that the condo location (A407) was not near an elevator access so be ready to go up and down a flight of steps -- it was a killer after our multiple excursions! Otherwise, we would definitely stay here again!

The property was super clean. Checkin and checkout was easy. Everything was well setup from living room to bedroom to parking space. Beach was right across. Lot of eateries nearby. Would definitely stay again here.

Beautiful apartment. Very updated and very clean. 4th floor was a long way up carring multiple heavy bags so just be prepared for a workout. Wish parking was a little closer but one of the nicest places I've stayed on Maui for sure.

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay in this modern and beautiful apartment. It was spotlessly clean and fully equipped with kitchen and beach supplies. Plenty of businesses in walking distance and even more within a short drive. We really loved Kihei! Note that it's a little difficult to find the first time (and a struggle on the stairs with our luggage) so suggest you unload your bags halfway up the hill and then go park afterwards. A map or instructions from the host in the welcome guide would have been helpful here. Otherwise a fantastic stay!

The condos are in good condition given the fact that they’re dated, the pool area is nice and very calm perfect for families. It’s near the beach, stores, shops, and restaurants which makes driving easier. Parking is included which is also a big advantage. I would definitely recommend and come back to stay here again.

We liked everything, it’s a wonderful condominium, with all you need, very close ti the beach and they have beach chairs for you to use, we definitely will return to Maui in a near future and we’re going to stay here. Thanks to all the staff of midway vacations, they responded so fast and always we’re looking for us.

This property has a good location very close to the beach in Kihei. The landscaping, pool area and pickleball court are all very nice. It's very well maintained. Parking is adequate. The unit we were in could use a little updating, but was comfortable and pretty well equipped. We would stay there again

Ali'i Kai is just a short walk to my favorite cafe on Maui: That's a Wrap...and then from there just a short walk to one of the most beautiful, walkable beaches in Kihei. I used to live in an Ali'i Kai condo, so this was like coming home. Incredible, all-around!

We enjoy our stay at this 1 bd apartment. The location is nice, beach is 10 -15 min walk. Restaurants and stores are nearby. However, I am going to give them 4 stars out of 5. The laundry machine is a bit old. The storage containers need to be replaced. They had really small containers without lid and a couple of lids without containers itself. We had trouble getting to the house at the first time and the instructions were incomplete. We arrived late night and were tired after long flight. It took us some time to find the right building and the apartment in the complex. We had to email them and ask how to open the door. They called us and helped with the instructions how to get into the apartment. In the apartment we found the booklet with the instructions, but again, they said that all the garbage needs to be emptied, but they didn't provide the information where the trash bins are located. The complex was big, and there wasn't any map.

I do understand there are cockroaches in Maui but they need a pest company to come in. We saw a few in the toaster. I refused to use the toaster and threw my bagels away.

2025 Maui trip first timers

This condo was perfect for us, family of 4. At first, Kihei wasn't an option but glad I found this spot owned by Matt and Sandy. It was perfect. Walking distance to Kamole Beach Park 1 and close to Kamole Beach Parks 2 and 3. Restaurants, shops etc. in the close proximity. Foodland close by too. Again, just a great area. This complex is clean. Parking is nice. Pool was a nice alternative to the beach. Sauna, hot tub is a plus. Great amenities in this comfy condo. Well kept and exactly as pictured and described. Thank you Matt and Sandy. We will be back!

Pros: Biggest plus at this condo was location -- steps from the beach, dining, shops, etc. One bedroom condo was also very clean when we arrived, well supplied, and spacious. Great pool, especially midday when everyone is at the beach. Kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of tp. Condo was quiet and beautiful landscaping provides a lot of privacy. Cons: No view so we did not spend time on the lanai. Water filter needs replacing; no through the door chilled water while we were there. Keurig needs descaling. Single AC unit in living room is noisy and leaking on the patio. Bed was noisy and not especially comfortable and pillows were tired and need replacing. Receiving a map before check in would have helped with parking; we had to schlep a bunch of stuff down the hill while trying to locate our place. More parking in lower lot would have been helpful, but doesn't look like room to expand. We stayed for a week and the place felt like home. We enjoyed our stay here.
