Lovely relaxing location

Lovely place, really kept clean, nice buffet breakfast and amazing views over the bay. Staff very helpful and friendly. Be aware the walk into town is steep in places!

Amazing beautiful hotel with the best views & team

Amazing boutique hotel in Kalkan with the best views of the Mediterranean. I could never get tired of the view. The staff are honestly the best I have come across in the whole world and made our trip amazing. We will definitely be going back.

Lovely hotel , amazing views, attentive and friendly staff , great food. .Clean and well maintained rooms . We would definitely choose this hotel again. Steep hills but plenty of taxis available for the very short trip down to central restaurants and small beach .

Stuff was really nice, breakfast and dishes were tasty, clean. It is not a walking distance to see and the center but it takes 5 min. by car.

One of the best Hotels in kalkan, staff were very accommodating! Absolutely stunning views! Big shout out to the a couple of the cleaning staff they were very friendly and amazing at their job. Breakfast was good, but could have done with a little more variety but delicious nonetheless. Note that Kalkan is very hilly and super steep had to get a taxi everywhere for my mum who has bad knees!

Probably best hotel in Kalkan

This is probably the friendlest and idyllic hotel I have stayed in. Very relaxed. Lovely room over looking the sea. Nice swimming pools & comfortable beds. Food really good.Great helpful staff - always cheerful . Would have liked a couple of chairs in the room rather than use the balcony furniture - but thats the only detail we can find fault. Would definitely stay here again .

Amazing top quality hotel with stunning views

This hotel is amazing, you will find it very difficult to find a better hotel in Kalkan. The views are fantastic, rooms are spacious and overlook the beautiful sea and harbour. It is set in the mountain hills so a steep 15 min walk into the town but the hotel call you taxis which come very quick. The restaurant and bar area has the best view in the world, especially at sunset. It is magnificent and the food is top quality and the prices are much better than the restaurants in the town. The staff can’t do enough for you and are the best. No TV in room but you don’t need one as this is the place to relax around the two large pools. I will definitely be going back as it is one of the best hotels I have stayed at and I have travelled the world.

We had been given KALKAN as a recommendation to visit and we came across the hotel and booked our stay. To say we had a wonderful time would be a vast understatement. Nothing is too much trouble for the whole staff at the hotel and BIG call out to Fahti, who really took care of us during our stay. The views of KALKAN from the hotel are beautiful. From both the pools, the bar and from every room. What we was taken back with, was the number of returning guests to the hotel. Every person we spoke to had been returning back to the hotel for many many years (10 years+). This speaks to the hotel in volumes and we for sure will be returning back to Mediteran. Loved it. Thanks to the whole team

The hotel had fantastic views. Pool area was lovely as was dinner and drinks on the terrace. Quick responses from staff to emails sent before I arrived. Staff were friendly and helpful at the hotel. Breakfast was basic and lacked variety and if there were any alternatives available this wasn't offered. Lunch and dinner was good and the price was comparable to other restaurants in the town. I understand that bedding and towels can't be changed every day but for a hotel of this standard I had expected the beds to be remade and bathroom cleaned daily. No TV in the room but one was in the hotel seating area. There is a really steep hill to get to the hotel which is challenging even for someone who is fairly fit but taxis are readily available and no problem for hotel staff to call them.

Let down a little by the service

I'll start by saying that the hotel is fantastic. It is in an amazing spot with views over Kalkan that are to die for. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are spotless due to the fact that they're cleaned everyday. Now to the parts we were not so happy about. The hotel was very quiet due to the fact that it's nearing the end of the season and we think because of that the staff/management were on a slow down. It was mentioned to us by another holiday maker that a lady member of staff/supervisor had left recently and that standards had dropped since then. Our room was quite large but was sparse. Only one small chair in the corner was the only furniture apart from the bed. Seemed a little strange as if something had been taken out and not replaced ie another chair or even a sofa or table. The hairdryer in the bathroom wasn't working although that didn't effect me it did my partner. She had read beforehand that hairdryers were provided in the rooms and because of that didn't bring her own. This was mentioned to a member of staff on our first day and again 2 days after when we had guessed correctly that he had forgotten our room number not that it mattered because nothing was done. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant twice during our stay and i have to say the food was very good and has I've already mentioned the view. Only problem with the meal was the service, so slow. The day we left we were promised that staff would help with our bags but no one turned up. Typical.

Überragend erholsam

Diese Unterkunft bietet all das, was man sich für einen erholsamen Urlaub in einem familiären Umfeld wünscht. Sei es die grandiose Aussicht, der warmherzige Umgang des Personals, die Sauberkeit, die Pflege der wundervollen Gartenanlage und die Lage, alles war weit über dem, was wir uns gewünscht und erhofft haben. Ich danke vom tiefsten Herzen jedem Einzelnen, der hier sein Herzblut für all die Schönheit diese Unterkunft einsetzt. Wir kommen wieder! Bis ganz bald.

Die Aussicht des Hotels ist wunderschön. Ich habe selten einen so schönen Ausblick aus einem Hotel gehabt. Unser Zimmer hatte keinen tv und hat etwas mulmig gerochen, was aber mit raumsprays versucht wurde zu beheben.. Das Frühstück war okay, aber nichts besonderes… es gab mal menemen, am nächsten Tag Eierbrot und das übliche eben.. Das Personal ist hilfsbereit und nett.

One word “Superb”, the hotel was everything we had hoped for; great hospitality; super relaxing atmosphere; tremendous food in an idyllic location (in the restaurant, on the balcony or by the pool). All the staff were so nice and welcoming. The views over Kalkan are outstanding; I can’t imagine a better position; we will definitely be going back. Thank you to everyone at the Mediterranean Hotel for making our holiday experience so amazing.
