We enjoyed one night stay as a family. The dishwasher didn't work and the bathroom started smelling bad after the jet bath. It's probably a sewage issue. Other than that we enjoyed walking to the snorkeling spot and Sunday market across the street.

Comfortable apartment but a few negative details

The apartment was spacious and there was a good range of appliances and equipment. There was some evidence of wear, eg some taps were difficult to completely turn off and the spa bath nozzles needed replacing although this is scheduled to be addressed in 2025. Also there was no means of locking the sliding door onto the balcony. Checking in was easy but the WiFi code was not provided and it took over 2 hours before this could be sorted as reception was not staffed. Despite this our overall stay was relaxing and the apartment was comfortable.

The apartment we were allocated was clean but it desperately needs a renovation as it was really showing its age. The main bed was not very good. The pool was good however.

Short visit over long weekend

We were a group of 13 people visited over the Australia Day long weekend. It was an excellent experience staying at this property. Bathrooms were very clean. The swimming pool was very nice. It was heated pool and kids enjoyed it for long hours.

We had a wonderful stay recently at Nelson Bay Breeze holiday apartments. The 2 bedroom superior apartment was very nice albeit the downstairs toilet needs an upgrade. It was very spacious and very clean. The heated pool is fantastic and the grounds are kept in immaculate condition. The onsite restaurant Nostimo is absolutely delicious, friendly staff and the serving size is very very generous.

Nelson Bay Holiday is a-Ok

Kids loved the pool and the proximity to Nelson Bay Beach. Plenty to do in and around Nelson Bay. Location of property is perfect. Property itself not too shabby. Mum loved the laundry facilities. Perfect for getting beach towels and swimmers washed and dried ready for action the next day. Highly recommend this property. Definitely staying there again.

Diese Unterkunft gehörte leider zu den weniger schönen Unterkünften auf unserer Australien Tour. Was genau war nicht so schön? Unsere Terrassentür ließ sich nicht aufschließen. Da wir nur eine Nacht dort verbracht haben, konnten wir auch niemanden von der Rezeption mehr erreichen, um dieses Problem zu lösen. Das Internet war meist sehr langsam oder sogar ausgefallen. Die Zimmer sind sauber, aber nicht sehr einladend gestaltet. So gibt es zum Beispiel Lamellenvorhänge, wie ich sie bislang nur aus Büros oder Arztpraxen kannte. Die Kommunikation mit der Rezeption während der Öffnungszeiten war sehr freundlich, aber das Willkommensschreiben war wiederum sehr abschreckend gestaltet. Hier ging es nicht darum, den Gast willkommen zu heißen, sondern ihm aufzuzeigen, welche Kosten bei welchen „Verstößen“ auf ihn zukommen (zum Beispiel das Nicht-Rausbringen des Mülls vor der Abreise sollte 70 $ kosten). Naja, wer meint, dass dies die wichtigsten Infos für einen Gast sind, der ist wohl wohl nicht so gerne Gastgeber.

Booked at short notice due. The staff went above and beyond to welcome us and make aure we had everything we needed. Close enoigh to the cebtre of town without being in the hustle and bustle. Clean rooms, comfy beds. Excellent set up.
