The property was in decent condition and right on the boardwalk. Some things in the room could use a little updating, but overall, it was pretty decent for a 100 year motel. I would definitely recommend.

Great memories to the worst ever..

I love the nostalgia about the majestic being 100 yrs old but it might have been the worst place I have ever stayed at. Ask for room service didn’t do my room whole stay. Walls had holes, air conditioner hanging out of wall with a 2” gap to the outside. Everything was just old with no upgrades. I get they are tearing it down in October but let people know the pictures shown are nothing how it looks now. Location was great but nothing else except the lady who checked me in was good about this hotel. Even the help was not very good. Several times the front desk was un manned with signs saying be right back and over an hour later they appeared. Very sad what a hotel of that caliber use to be and the joy it brand to many has been let slip into this sadness.

This property is mad dirty and they don’t wash the single folding bed . It has bed bugs. Sink were clogged and rented to us. Also door handle came out . Most importantly it shows you would get the room beach view house floor with balcony. But, they will assign you a private house a block away in the 2nd floor. This is worst place i have ever stayed.

Hotel in severe need of updating. Everything in room was pre 1980. Entire property poorly maintained. Housekeeping nonexistent or poor at best. However, staff was polite and courteous. Only 10 steps from room to boardwalk and beach.

The worst stay of my life

Was promised oceanview. How can you see the ocean out of dirty windows. Just windows. The room was tiny. Could barely walk around the bed to the bathroom. At night the store beliw the hotel would have their spotlight on all night it would shine in my window. No curtains, just white mini blinds that were to small for the window. The plumbing was terrible. Everytime you took a shower you'd have water past your ankles.

This place is disgusting!!

This place is absolutely disgusting!! There were small black ant crawling in the kitchen, bathroom and throughout the apt we were in. The drain in the kitchen sink drained the dirty dish water in the pans under the sink. The floors were sticky and the carpet was damp and smelled. The first night we stayed we were horrified to find bed bugs crawling on our bed! Which our 4 year old daughter was sleeping in. We captured one of the bedbugs in a papertowel and took it to the office at 5:30 am! The lady at the desk put it in a piece of tape [which later disappeared] what a surprise. The maintenance man and the head of housekeeping came to our room to check the bedroom. There were blood spots on the sheets which they bagged up. Had a flashlight to look for these gross bugs! We were horrified when they went to close the door which we opened to see what they were doing. Housekeeping was ironing the mattress n boxsprings and told us they didnt find anything! The bugs were crawling on the headboard and had their echo skeletons everywhere on the headboard and mattress/boxsprings. Every staff memeber from clerk at the desk to supervisor called us liars. And adult and child slept in that bed and had bite marks around their neck and back!! We have the pictures and bugs in a sealed baggie to prove our case!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I will never stay anywhere near this horrible place again. Thank heavens it didnt ruin our vacation, we did find a clean hotel streets down the road!

Only gave it 2 stars because it was on the boardwalk and front desk was kind. It was dirty smelly and gave motel. I also put DND sign on the door they still entered. I have paid less money for better hotels.

Very outdated and did not receive housekeeping. Had to take my own trash out and ask for clean towels. Limited parking. Who wants to park their car 1-2 blocks away.

Stay AWAy, this should be torn down! Photo false!

Our apt. did NOT look like this! NOthing was even up to code! Moldy carpet and bathroom. Shower didn't work, floor buckled and cracked in bathroom. Hairdryer use caused circuit breaker to kick. Dehumidifier was filthy! I had to clean filter myself. We have photos and videos of broken doors, windows, headboard, etc. NEVER stayed in such a bad place and we are NOT well off financially.

Don’t Book This Property!!

My stay at The Majestic Hotel was extremely disappointing. The room was filthy — the linens were dirty, the bedsheets had stains, and there was duct tape covering holes in the walls. The towels were placed on the back of the toilet, which was completely unsanitary. Overall, the conditions were unacceptable and made for a very unpleasant experience, actually I checked out not long after I checked in. Did not stay the night.. I would not recommend this hotel.

Had to move 3 times due to ants, and a ceiling leakage. We had 3 toddlers with us as well and front desk even told us that we should have never even been put in the room. The stay was exhausting and moving everything was not part of the plan.

None of the pictures in the advertisement looked anything like the apartment we rented. The place is very run down and falling apart. There were 3" wood screws sticking out of one bed corner. There were gashes in the hallway and bathroom floors wich are dangerous tripping hazards. The noisey neighbors above had repeated water leak issues which caused the ceiling to fall down in our apt. The maintance guys seemed to be doing the best they could, but the place needs to be gutted, and maybe demolished.

Reliving the 1930s

This place was disgusting. Mold is everywhere. There are only one outlet that works. The bed is just a box spring with a pad underneath the sheet. Nothing was updated since 1930s.
