Would certainly stay again. It’s such a good location with everything you need close by and a couple of minutes to the tube. We didn’t cook any meals but the kitchen seemed reasonably well equipped. Good showers and heating easy to control although it kept very warm with minimal heating. Detailed information from the host and he was easy to get in touch with. Highly recommend and will certainly stay again.

Our host was responsive and accommodating, including the ability to drop off our bags prior to check in. Comfortable stay for 3 adults. The location was perfect for our needs with walking distance to parks, entertainment, fantastic food and beverage as well as convenient to tube station.

Communication with the owner was very good and very prompt. Laundry facilities (washer/dryer in one machine - a new one for me!) was excellent. Location is wonderful. Could use some softer lighting; I could not figure out how to turn on the dimmer kitchen lighting and the exhaust hood over the cooktop so felt I might activate the smoke alarm when cooking but I didn’t. For some unknown reason, Über in London does not actually pick up or drop off at your exact address; you have to do some walking at the beginning or end of your journey which can be tiresome at night or in the rain!

Excellent location, close to tube and buses, supermarkets and restaurants - you really can't beat it. Very comfortable space, with room to spread out for a whole week stay - two couches was great. TV kept playing up, but we simply turned it off and on again, that fixed it easily. Great modern kitchen, with coffee and tea, lots of utensils etc. Washing machine/dryer was super handy. Spacious bathrooms with lovely hot water and water pressure. Rob was very responsive to our messages. We can highly recommend this stay.Two small additional feedback/info points:- the apartment is built directly above the tube line, so you can hear a very slight rumble and feel a very slight vibration every few minutes, between 5am-11pm. This is particularly noticable if you're sleeping on the fold-out bed on the floor but not really at all when sleeping in the bedrooms.- the single fold-out sofa was not particularly comfortable or long, it is really only suitable for 10yrs kids or for one night as an adult. There was lots of spare bedding though, so we were able to layer it up to make it more comfy.We had a great time in this Stay and can highly recommend this property... it was one of the best apartments that we stayed in for our trip.

This flat was perfect for us and was exactly as described. Very convenient to the Notting Hill Gate tube station, and an easy walk from Kensington Palace & Kensington High Street. The living areas, kitchen, and main bedroom/bath were very spacious (the second bedroom and bath are smaller). We didn't really cook, but the kitchen is very well furnished. And--to my delight--plenty of outlets for recharging our electronics. Rob sent enough pre-stay information to make our orientation easy. Highly recommended!

Loved how close this property is to everything, including groceries, tube station and restaurants/pubs. Had a great stay and would definitely recommend. Appreciated the 2 bathrooms. property had a dishwasher but didn’t have any dishwashing tablets so we couldn’t use it. Oven was easy to use.

Notting Hill Retreat

The VRBO was exactly as described. The host sent excellent directions and household information in advance. It worked perfectly for our stay - my son and granddaughter and I stayed for a week exploring London. The house was only about 3 minutes walking from the Notting Hill Underground station, and that made it very easy to go see all the sights. I would highly recommend this place if you are planning sightseeing in the London area.

Great spot

Perfect location and a great size for the 4 of us on a quiet side road with nearby access to the Tube plus easy to catch a taxi at the end of the road. Easy walk to the park and local restaurants and pubs as well. Rob made everything easy. Would stay again.

Great place to stay when exploring London

This was our first visit to London and this flat was the perfect place to stay. It’s very close to the Notting Hill Gate tube station and once we figure out how to use the TfL Go app it was easy to get any where in the city in no time. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had just what we needed. Great communication from the host who is very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this place to anyone unsure of where to stay in London.

Phenomenal location and layout

Had a great stay in Rob’s flat with our two young children. The layout is perfect for a young family with the separate bedroom and extra bathroom. We spent time around the island and ate there. Having the laundry was a bonus. The location is just about perfect, just steps from the Notting Hill Gate station, and short walks to parks and restaurants. It was warm during our stay in London, and the vented windows above did help to make the apartment cooler and more comfortable. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to use Notting Hill as a base for their stay in London.

Excellent and safe location

Great location for getting around London. Circle Line train got us into city center is close by. We were 2 women and felt safe and secure in the area. Only caveat about flat is the hot water is VERY, VERY HOT!!! Comfortable beds. Very clean. Would book this flat again!
