Antoine ZININI is from Marseille, he has visited le Haut-Var since he was little, it is here that, as a child, he spent his weekends and vacations. For fifty years he has learned to passionately love this magnificent region that he had made his own. He has developed strong friendships in every village around, especially with his wild boar hunting friends with whom he hunts these stunning and brave animals in the oak and box forests during the winter months. Passionate about nature and wild life of this region, he loves to walk through the hills, and the forests that surround the lake over thousands of hectares. He always contemplates the sublime shots that the magnificent Gorges du Verdon has to offer. He is a real estate agent and an expert FNAIM realtor, and he strongly believes that this region is a natural jewel that has to be preserved for future generations. This is why he thinks that the best way to do so is to make as many people as possible to get to know it, love it and in consequence, respect it.

Bauduen is an exceptional medieval village, a 'retreat near the water'. Originally, Antoine rented an apartment in the 'Les Lavandes' residence during the off-peak season during weekends and the hunting season. When the four gite residence was placed for sale he did not think it twice.

Once the property was renamed 'Les Lavandes du Lac', he continued to rent the gites. 'Les Lavandes du Lac' has many regular customers who come to stay during different periods: Weekends, school breaks and obviously during the summer. The project for the next year or two is to expand the residence to have six apartments instead of the current four. Once this project is done, every gite will have, for the enjoyment of its visitants, its own private terrace with a stunning view of the lake and the village of Bauduen.

Located on the side of the hill and with an astonishing view of the Lake Sainte-Croix and the medieval village of Bauduen, ‘Les Lavandes du Lac ‘is one of the houses in the district of’ La Calade de Fabre that are closer to the wild beaches of the lake. The reason is simple; there are very few parking spaces in this place. Visitors and regulars of the banks of the river go a little farther, where is easier to find a parking spot.

The resident of Chemin des Couquets take advantage of the situation and jealously guard their privilege, having a five minute walking distance to the lake, finding the shadow of oaks or the small sunny beaches, depending on each person's taste. When leaving 'Lavandes du Lac', a pedestrian path will take you through the forest to the village of Bauduen, unless you prefer to rent it to walk the trails of Grandes Randonnées (GR) which will take you to paths that offer unforgettable views of the lake and its surroundings.
