Amazing apartment. Spacious, clean and modern. It has all necessities including beach towels and an umbrella.The beach is only 5 min away from the apartment. Check in and check out was flawless. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Great stay

Great property, part of the fantastic Baia Da Luz complex. Well kitted out properly with everything we needed, and a 1 minute walk to the amazing pool area. Joaquim also responded to queries in the build up on the same day and sorted a late check in for us which was straightforward despite the late hour. We’d definitely stay again.

A very modern and well equipped property in a very pleasant area. Super access to all pool and dining facilities and both apartment and pool area very well looked after. An easy walk to a very pleasant beach. Highly recommended.

This condo was spacious and well maintained. It has a huge patio where we sat each afternoon enjoying a nice glass of wine. It was extremely comfortable throughout the condo and the bed was excellent for sleeping. Joaquim was a good host and we had no difficulties during our stay. Will definitely look to stay here again in the future.

Lovely stay at Baia da Luz!

We spent a month in this lovely, very well equipped condo. It was such a pleasure to return home to this comfortable place each day. The terrace is perfect, the tennis courts were great and the Italian restaurant on site was delicious! Our host was very responsive to any questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our month in Luz!

Very beautiful and spacious apartment in Luz. The location Luz is easily accessible on foot and only about 10 minutes away from the sea. The apartment is very well equipped, very clean, and the mattresses are comfortable. We had a very pleasant contact with the owner and received immediate assistance whenever we needed it. The pool area available for the complex was wonderful as well as the adjacent restaurant. Check-in and check-out were very quick and without any difficulties. We felt very comfortable.

7 Nights Near Beach

We had an amazing time in the unit and property grounds and the beach was a quick and easy walk with several restaurants along the boardwalk.The unit was very large with a huge furnished patio. All of the furniture was very comfortable and well kept. It was nice to be able to do laundry in the unit and hang outside to quickly dry.The pools were very nice and the restaurant was very good with excellent service. There is a grocery store close by which was nice to stock up on things.We cannot wait to return!

The place was beautiful and the pool and restaurant were a great addition. We had an issue with the TV and the owner came over ASAP to fix it and also gave us additional pillows per our request. The only advice I would give is to maybe to have bath soap in the bathrooms as we did not know to bring our own. Also maybe washing machine detergent. But all around a great place to stay.

All the comforts of home

Loved this condo. Had everything we needed, was impeccably clean, a lovely couch on the balcony, comfortable beds, etc.& a short less than 5 min. walk to the pools. Restaurant on site served great food & drinks at reasonable prices & beach & many restaurants are within walking distance. Washer on site was so useful too

Six Day Stay in September 2024

Clean ground floor unit with large terrace in beautiful complex. Parking right in front of the building. Very short walk into Luz to restaurants, super mercados and beach. This was an excellent base for exploring the Algarve and we enjoyed Sagres, Silves and Albufeira. Host Joaquim was a good communicator and we would definitely stay again.

Great location

The apartment is in really great location near to the beach and nice restaurants on the boardwalk. Apartment itself is big and comfortable. I wish that was located right by the pool which the picture from the website depicted. It was not as clean as I wished it to be! Also one day we didn’t have water and we were not informed in advance. Over all the stay was good.

Other VRBO owners should follow this example. There is a huge amount of glassware and dishes as well as everything you need for cooking. We did notice that there were no measuring spoons or good cutting knives so we bought some and left them there. We also left behind 2 beach chairs for other guests to use. Overall we were very happy with our 28 day stay.

Family break

Apartment is perfect for a young family. Large balcony, that gets a good bit of shade and sun throughout the day… with a nice outdoor sofa that couldn’t be seen in any photos. Had all the essentials (for both cooking and pool/house towels). Beds were absolutely fine too. Travel cots were provided - however we didn't use them as I think they need an upgrade for future guests. Have stayed in Luz a few times - at baia complex before. Would return to this apartment too.

Perfect Family Stay

The apartment is outstanding, it has all the facilities needed and is very spacious and clean. The balcony is a very large, peaceful space, great for sitting out in an evening or just getting away from it during the day. We have stayed in other apartments in this complex, this is better than previous ones we have stayed in. The location is great, so close to the beach and resort centre. We were with our 11 year old, who loved the pool area, made lovely friends, they played football and entertained themselves. As the pool area is a gated complex, it is very safe and secure. The onsite restaurant is lovely for lunches and also great in the evening. Staff there are fab. The apartment is located on the road just above the pool complex, which is nice as it is a much more relaxing environment (most apartments at Baia Da Luz are located just outside the pool complex, giving it more of a resort feel). The owner was great to deal with, prompt, provided everything we need. Luz is a lovely resort, very relaxed with great restaurants. There is plenty to do on the beach with wide range of water sports. It is also worth a drive to Burgau, or a lovely walk over the coast path if you are more energetic. Great beach, bar and restaurants, smaller than Luz. The Fishermans Trail takes you to Salema and Lagos, so plenty of coastal walking if you like that kind of thing. There is plenty for everyone to do in the resort and around the area.

Family vacation

Joaquim’s was quick to respond to any messages or questions and his place was great for our family of 4. Both the interior and exterior space is spacious and had all that we needed. We appreciated the extra things that were included, such as beach towels and tennis racquets. We had a very relaxing and comfortable stay!
