Nice Quiet Home for a family or a group of friends any time of the year. Relax in the summer at the Lake Mountain Club at Big Boulder and rentals of Kayaks, canoes and paddleboats as available added costs to your rental package at the club. Small fee charged for use of private club, payable at club upon arrival (in-ground pool at Big Boulder is also available for your use). Fall is splendid and in the Winter walk to the slopes or tubing hills at Jack Frost.

Air Conditioning

This Home features two bedrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs, the downstairs bedroom has a private bath, access to indoor/glassed in hot tub room and queen size bed. The upstairs bedroom also has a queen size bed as well as separate loft with three beds. Two separate full size baths. (Pillows, blankets and comforters provided) Fresh Linens and Towels

This unit also has a screened in porch with table and chairs so you can enjoy cool evenings enjoying the surrounding nature.

Located on Jack Frost Mntn, skiing and tubing is within walking distance. Located also near Big Boulder ski resort and lake as well as Hickory Run State Park where you can enjoy the Boulder Field and waterfalls. Jack Frost National Golf Course (visit their website for pictorial and pricing info) and the New Pocono Downs Moheken Sun Casino in Wilkes Barre (14 miles). Just opened 10 minutes away is the new indoor waterpark at Split Rock Lodge Galleria area!

We ask that renters to be at least 21 years old and no pets or smoking. Check-in time 3 pm, check-out 11 am.

Fantastic Getaway

Dave is an amazing host and the place is clean. We loved the hot tub right outside the bedroom, and the kitchen and amenities were great. We will definitely book again!

Better then anticipated!!!

Property owners were quick, efficient and had anything we could need for a stay away from home for the weekend! Very comfortable beds and accommodations. Heat was intimidating initially, but worked fantastically!!!! Def coming back. :-)

Amazing place

It was an amazing stay. The whole family had a good time! It’s in a good location near many amenities and also the access to the club was a great plus!!!! I do have to say I have not slept this good in a very long time! Almost wanted to take the bed home 🙈🙈 and the hot tub !!! The Owners are very nice and always responded to all our questions….

Comfortable Summer Getaway

Wonderful, cozy place on Jack Frost mountain

We really enjoyed our stay at Dave’s place. It was the perfect size for our family of five! We could walk to the slopes and the hot tub was an added bonus!

Cute place to spend Christmas!

My fiance and I spent Christmas 2023 here, and we had a wonderful time! This spacious home is decorated really cute, and it's very clean, warm, and cozy. With the exception of towels, it has everything you might need for your stay and more! The (private) hot tub was clean and very refreshing. It was a very pleasant experience.

Spectacular

Great property! I’ve stayed in many pocono homes and this one is well-stocked, clean and organized. I have only great things to say about the host- responsive and helpful. The layout of the condo is great for two families. I highly recommend!

Cozy getaway

Dave's house was a nice place to spend a rainy fall weekend. The kitchen was pretty well-stocked for making dinner. We really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. I had trouble trying to start a fire in the fireplace so I gave up pretty quickly.

Great stay, even in the summer

We had a great stay at this home. It was perfect for our small family and I found the layout of the main area very family-friendly. I could put together food in the kitchen and see my young girls playing in the living room. We made use of the membership to the pool/lake club and it was wonderful! There were not many people there and the pools and beach were wonderfully clean. My daughters had a blast. On the hottest day of our trip and house was uncomfortably warm even in the evening/night. We found fans in the closet and they worked really well to cool things down.

Birthday Fun in the Mountains!

We had an awesome weekend away. My husband cannot stop taking about how clean and quiet the resort was. Jack Frost is a ski resort and we stayed on the off season, however the townhouse is within walking distance to the slopes and snow tubing. And just across the main road is the split rock resort with lake harmony and restaurants. There’s UTV riding, restaurants, country stores all within a short driving distance. The house was well appointed and very clean, you only need to bring wash cloths and towels. The solarium and hot tub felt amazing and had plenty of outdoor seating and dining space. There was no check in, we drove straight in, parked outside and started unloading the car. We just cannot get over how much fun we had. We cannot wait to come back.

Absolutely Perfect!

We had an absolutely fantastic time during our stay at this rental house. Nestled in a serene and peaceful location, it provided the perfect retreat for my family. Convenience was at our fingertips with shopping amenities and gas stations nearby. The house itself was a haven of comfort, equipped with everything one could possibly need to unwind. The highlight for us was undoubtedly the indoor hot tub room, a luxurious touch that enhanced our relaxation experience. Our little one was thrilled with the loft and bunk bed setup, adding an extra element of excitement to our stay. The spacious layout ensured that everyone had their own personal space, yet the cozy living room was perfect for quality family time. The speedy internet allowed me to sneak in some work tasks effortlessly, while also catering to our entertainment needs with TV streaming in the evenings. Dave, our host, was incredibly attentive and made both check-in and check-out seamless experiences. His thoughtful provision of information on local attractions led us to explore the Split Rock and Kalahari water parks, with Kalahari leaving us in awe despite being a bit heavy on the wallet. Overall, our stay exceeded expectations thanks to the combination of comfort, convenience, and Dave's exceptional hospitality. We would eagerly return for another unforgettable getaway.

Not bad but ..

Hi… the house is cute with great floor plan but should be better maintained. The location is kind of misleading it is aprx 5 miles from the house to the club.. so it takes 40 minutes RT of your time on these roads which is not convenient at all. Surprised that one club cover such an area of rentals. Back to the house totally in woods besides small covered patio no outdoor possibilities to grill, to sit or play for kids. The hot tub was a great addition if works well and be clean. Very worn out and 2 jest out of 4 worked. The cover is yucky. The Indoor is planned and decorated well with all necessities you may need except kettle and towels (we were aware to take ours just …more to carry) Great separate master room area and ideal for 6. For what we have paid for 2 nights I would expect better.. plus additional charges for club passes :-(

Good location for skiing; terrible renters experience with owner

This is a nice loft right on Jack Frost mountain. Convenient location if you plan to go skiing or snowboarding. There are a few nice activities nearby and some wineries ~40 min or so from the area. We had a good time while we were there, but had a terrible experience after leaving. Beware that your must leave before check out time! Also, beware that there is a wood fireplace but no wood, so you’ll need to get your own and will need to do a FULL clean up, so bring many products, materials and a vacuum to properly remove all evidence that a fire was even started. The owner, Dave, charged me a late fee for leaving less than 20 minutes after check out time and claimed that we ruined his rug, although the entire fireplace area had been cleaned with our materials and it just needed to be vacuumed. The conversation I had with the owner after checking out was terrible. I had to alert VRBO corporate so they could handle. I am flabbergasted at the way he treated and spoke to me, saying I am “not a very good person.” Mind you, I clearly communicated with him the entire weekend and was shocked that he could charge us for leaving a few minutes after check out time and for his cleaning lady needing to vacuum the fireplace (something that should be expected). My advice: Stay away from this place and this renter. There are many other places in this village that look exactly the same and will provide a great experience. I spent a lot of money to be at this house for less than 48 hours. You have to bring every single thing to this house - toilet paper, paper towels, towels, firewood, cleaning supplies, soap, etc. It is not a convenient or easy vacation. So, either be ready to bring everything from home to stay in this place for a few short days and be ready to spend all morning cleaning and emptying the garbage just to be charged by the owner and talked down to. Dave should be ashamed for speaking to any renter the way that he did. I will never stay here again and recommend that you don’t either, unless you want to be burdened and get unnecessary rude emails.
