Wonderful Hostess Beautiful Location

What a wonderful stay we had. It is out there in the countryside up in the mountains away from everything. Very easy to find though. Beautiful views. Filanthi provided so many treats for us. We had a small problem with the washer, but it was probably just our lack of knowledge of European washers. Would highly recommend!!

Great house in a quiet area of Mani

We spend two weeks in Filanthi´s house. The house of Filanthi is located in a little village, almost on the top of the mountain which includes a 20min drive to the next town of Gythio. A wonderful retreat if you love nature and quiet places. Filanthi, her sister (which lives next to the house) and the whole neighbarhood are very nice and kind persons. Filanthis was always available and gave us and really warm welcome and some really nice advices of the places to visit. The house is lovely with lots of nice areas and we spend a fantasitc time there. As we travel with 5 persons we always book holiday houses for our stay but Filanthis house was the cleanest. My wife is a little bit fussy on this but had absolutely nothing to complain. The house is very well equipped and there is nothing you won´t find in this house with one exception. There is an air condition at the lower floor with works fine but in the sleeping rooms there is no air condition but just ceiling fans. They work pretty well but if you expect air condition in all rooms you will be disappointed. All sleeping rooms have a nice size and are equipped with TV. There is also a nice sitting area outside which you could use. It´s a yard but with a grill, table, chairs and a lot of nice details. In total we collected a lot of nice memories in Filanthis house and we would alsolutely recommend it. Thanks for everything!

Mani is a place chosen by nature, not shaped by crowds. We chose this area for its raw beauty, open horizons, and deep sense of calm. Surrounded by olive groves and mountains, the landscape invites a slower rhythm — mornings with birdsong, long walks, and evenings under a vast sky.

What we enjoy most is the silence, the authenticity of village life, and the feeling of being close to the land, yet within easy reach of the sea, historic villages, and timeless Mani paths.
