Welcome to our three bedroom cottage. Expect a peaceful stay, perfect for couples, families, or friends. Enjoy a spacious king-size bed, a double bed with ensuite and a family room with a double bed and a single allowing flexible sleeping options. Surrounded by nature, you’re just 20 km from the majestic Cliffs of Moher, 7 km from Miltown Malbay, and a10-minute walk to the nearest pub and village shop. You have on-street parking for two cars
As your host, our priority is to ensure you enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay. We strive to provide exceptional service and maintain a high standard, creating an experience that will make you want to return or recommend our cottage to friends and family. Our goal is for every guest to feel safe, well-cared-for, and delighted with their stay. Should you need any assistance we are just a phone call away, ready to help make your visit truly memorable.
Discover the charm of West Clare, a perfect blend of serene nature and convenient access to urban attractions! Guests love the breathtaking sea views, peaceful surroundings, and outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, and surfing in nearby Lahinch and Spanish Point. The area offers scenic trails around the famous Burren Region. Shannon Airport is just a one-hour drive away. O’ Dwyers’ Centra, a well run convenience store with Deli and post office is in the village. SuperValu, Miltown should you need more elaborate supplies is in the town of Miltown reachable by car in about 10 minutes, where you’ll enjoy easy access to shopping, dining, and friendly pubs.
The stone walls, small fields and rocky outcrops of the three Aran Islands are accessible from Doolin pier in summer months and you can also enjoy a boat trip beneath the fabulous puffin nesting Moher cliffs.
Don’t forget we have tons of Golf clubs, the nearest in Spanish Point, down the road is Trump’s Doonbeg, and up the coast are the twin courses of Lahinch..

What a great place to stay on the water. It's quiet this time of year, which was what we were looking for. We still saw a lot ... The Cliffs of Moher aren't far, and the cliffs at Kilky are even nicer, IMHO. Our hosts were excellent. They had left some snacks as a welcome gift and were helpful with a late checkout. We will definitely stay there again.

Mike and Tina were exceptional hosts! Really responsive, happy to provide recommendations, and very amenable with the check in and check out process. The cottage is lovely, with the most amazing views and appointed with everything you could need. It’s close enough to amenities and a great spot from which to explore western Ireland. A really comfortable and relaxing vacation. Highly recommend!

The conservatory with ocean views is the star of the show. It was lovely to sit and watch the ocean and the birds. It must be amazing in the summer. There's plenty of kitchen equipment. A well-stocked convenience store is a 10-minute walk away. The house is a great base for visiting County Clare. There are lots of attractions nearby. SatNav does better on the bigger roads in the area. Good communication with the hosts. We would stay here again.

Beautiful property at an amazing location. Loved sitting in the sunroom and watching the sun rise and set over the water. Location is quiet and peaceful but perfectly located to see many sights. The owner was accommodating and very communicative. Couldn’t ask for a more idyllic stay.

We had a lovely few days at Shorehaven. Communication from Mike and Tina was excellent, and they made us extremely welcome. Accommodation was comfortable and a lot of thought had gone into what was provided for us - cooking was easy. The view from the conservatory was probably the highlight!

Wonderful

A lovely spot with a beautiful ocean view. We had a wonderful stay. The fireplace added a beautiful ambience in the evenings. My wife and I and our four daughters (18, 16, 14, 12) were delighted.

Better than advertised!

At high tide, prepare to feel as though you're on the bow of a boat. Photos cannot capture how close you are to the water. And the sunsets....!!! The cottage is well appointed, beds comfortable, and the spacious solarium and two outside gathering spaces have endless views that include the Cliffs of Moher. This site is perfectly located in County Clare which is riddled with interesting sites, great food, and lovely towns all within an hour's drive. If all that isn't enough, sweeter hosts couldn't be had. Mike & Tina met our every need with the charm and kindness that Irish citizens are famed for. We can't wait to come back for another stay and to visit with our new friends.

Perfect location for our perfect vacation

This Quilty cottage by the sea was the perfect place for us to reconnect with our daughter after her semester long internship in Dublin. We were able to enjoy the beautiful countryside and explore the Cliffs of Moher, Galway, castles and pubs whilst using Quilty as our home base. We could hear the waves at night and watched the tide roll in while drinking coffee in the morning. Our host was a great communicator (much better than me!) and was always there to support if we needed anything. We were greeted with a welcome basket and accommodated a last minute change. We would definitely find ourselves back in Quilty if given a chance!

Retireland home away from home

Twas no better place to stay for two months. With friends coming and going, the cottage felt like home. The ocean view morning coffee will be missed. And Tina and Mike… you are a dear.

Just what we needed

After a LONG flight from the USA and staying in Dublin to shake the jet lag, this place was a dream to stay in. Right on the water with views of the cliffs. We spent most of our time out in the atrium watching the water when we were there. It was a pleasent drive up to Galway for a day trip that we enjoyed. If we come back we will definitely stay here for a while. Mike was very prompt with answers to our questions and needs!!!

Wonderful

A very special place that I almost dont want to leave a review for as will only increase the competition for when we look to book it again! We loved staying here! We felt immediately comfortable as soon as we walked through the door and the view is spectacular. A great base for exploring the area. Truly wonderful, we will be back!

Comfy stay at seaside cottage

Very comfortable and nicely located for our needs, this property filled the bill for our two-couple golf and touring team. Ballybunion and Lahinch for golf as well as Cliffs of Moher were all easy access. The cottage is not modern but we really enjoyed homey environment. Owners were very responsive and available. Quilty is just down the road with the tavern and convenience store. The rocky beach is just a stone's throw away. Beautiful sunsets and playing cards in the glassed-in porch can't get any better. Looking for relaxation? Shore Haven.

Perfect retreat at the sea

Great Ocean View

Just as described with regard to the spectacular ocean view. Mike and Tina provided some snacks and nibbles for our arrival. The place was clean but cluttered at the same time. Drawers were stuffed with all sorts of things. Biggest disappointment were the beds. Very uncomfortable - and only one of the beds in the three bedrooms had sheets. We found sheets for another bed hanging in the closet. Didn't understand this at all. Lastly, the list of recycling instructions was astonishing. Unfortunately, I had left my secret decoder ring at home and was hard pressed at times to determine what constituted what and what should be disposed of in that bin or this one...Consequently, when we left after 5 days we were totally stressed out about whether or not we had used the correct bins.
