My husband and I celebrated our 10th anniversary at this resort, and had an incredible week that we'll remember forever. This resort is stunning - the pools are gorgeous, the beach and lagoon spectacular, the facilities and common areas immaculate and suite itself vast with a breathtaking view of the ocean and much of the KoOlina area.
The kitchen is well equipped, and staff were quick to provide whatever we needed (extra cream, etc). There is a ton of space - a dining/living room, study, massive bedroom and two bathrooms - one with a tub and one with a shower. We almost wished we had our kids with us just to use up more of the space (almost). We loved having laundry facilities in our room too, and took advantage of the complimentary DVD rental machines almost every night.
After long days of sightseeing, playing in the lagoon or pool, or taking a hula or yoga class, it was great to relax in our room and take in the sunset each night from our balcony. We found the location a great base for activities in the area - Pearl Harbour, surfing at Kapolei and hiking at Ka'ena Point. But really, there's enough to do at the resort that you never need to set foot off of it.
The only thing we didn't like was the additional fee to sit in the section on the beach with drink service - as guests of the Marriott I would expect this to be included.
Other than that, it was a perfect vacation. We'd love to return one day with our kids so they can also enjoy this awesome resort and beautiful Oahu.
