Beautiful property and country side

We had the most fantastic 7 days at Red Bird Farm. Seamus, Tonia, the boys (not forgetting Austin the dog) all made us very welcome. We were treated to a beautiful breakfast hamper every morning to enjoy while looking out over the surrounding farmland. The barn-end property is superbly designed with plenty of space for a family; the kitchen is very well kitted-out (with dishwasher!) and the living room very comfortable. The local countryside is stunning and incredibly peaceful, a good place to spot wildlife. We spent most of the week on the amazing beaches nearby - amazing white sand, sea nowhere near as cold as you think (really) and gorgeous beach cafes. Unlike other countries there is no traffic, free parking. Tossellila funpark is well worth a day out, its only 10 mins up the road - waterslides, mini zoo, dodgems etc, again no queuing for anything all day. We left visitng Ystad town until late in the holiday as the weather was so good, but wished we could have spent more time there - fantastic dinner at Store Thor. All in all a really superb family holiday, fantastic value, couldn't recommend red bird farm and the surrounding area highly enough. I really hope we can go back soon, maybe even in winter for something different

Wir waren zwei Wochen zu viert in der Meadow Barn. Auch wenn diese mit ca. 60m² die kleinste FeWo der Redbirdfarm ist, reichte uns der Platz, da die Wohnung vorteilhaft geschnitten ist. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und ganz in weiß gehalten, was sehr stylish ist. Viel Holz und Naturstein tragen dazu bei. Als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in Südschweden (Malmö, Lund, Ystad, Ostsee) sowie Kopenhagen ist die Redbirdfarm gut gelegen. Die Redbirdfarm liegt quasi im Hinterland von Ystad, was schnell erreicht ist (30min mit dem Fahrrad, 10min mit dem Auto). Die Gastgeber sind sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.

Alles wunderbar: Tolles Haus, superschön hergerichtet in der ehemaligen Scheune, mit allem, was man braucht, aber auch nicht mehr. Schlicht und stilvoll. Ruhige Lage mit großartiger Aussicht auf die Pferdekoppel des Nachbarhofs. Freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Ystad und einsame Strände in 15 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar.Nur das WLAN war etwas langsam, aber das war und egal.

Einfache Wohnung in toller Umgebung

Die Red Bird Farm liegt wunderbar ruhig in der schönen Landschaft von Skåne und bietet einen tollen Ausgangspunkt für viele Ausflüge in die Umgebung.Leider haben wir keine der beiden Appartements bekommen, die bei fe-wo beschrieben wurden, sondern einen Ausbau der alten Scheune auf der anderen Seite des Hofes. Die Wohnung ist zweckmäßig und einfach ausgestattet, eine Terrasse mit Sitzgelegenheiten ist da, aber nicht sehr gemütlich.Unsere Gastgeberin Tonia hatte sehr viele tolle Tipps für uns und hat uns auch bei unserer Wäsche gerne geholfen, da anders als in der Anzeige beschrieben keine Waschmaschine und kein Wäschetrockner da waren. Vielen Dank!Der Preis für die Ferienwohnung ist in Anbetracht der Ausstattung unserer Meinung nach nicht angemessen.

Big skies in southern Sweden

Beautiful rustic barn conversion close to Ystad, with its medieval buildings and quiet beaches. We had a relaxing 4 night stay - wish it could have been longer. Tonia and Seamus were the ideal hosts being very knowledgeable about the area. Hoping to visit again!

Absolutely lovely and relaxing

My husband, four year old daughter and I spent three weeks here in August. The location was perfect for us - gorgeous and quiet and also ten minutes' drive from stunning beaches for swimming, sandcastles, and gazing out to sea, fun outdoor swimming pool, supermarkets, wonderful bakery, indoor swimming pool with brilliant water slides,lovely towns to wander around, fantastic amusement park and more. We did a day trip to Lund (easy train ride) which was very nice. Seamus and Tania were friendly and helpful and the house was the perfect size for the three of us. It was really great and highly recommended.

Wunderbares Haus mit tollen Gastgebern

Tolle Lage, ruhig und erholsam. Geschmackvolle stilsichere Einrichtung und Ausstattung. Sehr nette Gastgeber. 10 Minuten (PKW) von sehr schönen Stränden entfernt. Absolut empfehlenswert! We really enjoyed the weeks at RedBirdFarm and also want to say "thank you" for the wonderful hospitality. All of us loves the great view out of the kitchen window of meadow suite and the lovely swedish houses. The beach at Sandkogen near Ystad is a great and lonely place to relax. Here we had a good time and coulld calm down. Defenetly we think about to come back meanwhile.

Lovely, peaceful accommodation.

The barn conversion has lots of space for a family of four and is light, peaceful and surrounded by lovely countryside. A refreshingly minimal and stylish approach to decor. Close to beautiful coast, though car required. Would definitely stay again. Very close to Copenhagen airport too.

Minimalist Swedish style barn conversion in quiet countryside. On three floors; very spacious. Plenty to do within 15 - 30 miles. Car is essential. Lovely hosts. Easy drive from Oresund Bridge.

A holiday spent in this beautiful part of Southern Sweden was enough to fuel our desire to call this place our home. So we embarked upon our own adventure, left our jobs and life in England and the entire family made the decision to move to Skåne & make Red Bird Farm our home and future.

After viewing numerous properties Red Bird Farm had a wonderful feel, and the location was ideal to suit the pursuits that we all enjoy as a family, and we have now enhanced our immediate environment to allow our guests to enjoy all those benefits.

For us, it's all about the wonderful position of the farm, positioned amongst gentle rolling farmland and alongside a Silver Birch woodland. You approach along peaceful lanes which lead to the farm from the historic & interesting town of Ystad, and with easy access to the stunning sandy beaches & Baltic shore. The fact that we can all cycle to the beach through pine woodland and along safe roads is such a bonus. We live amongst nature, in peace & quiet, with many visitors of Red Kite, Eagles, stags, deer, hares and families of wild boar!

This classic red & white Swedish farm, with barns and farmhouse around a four-sided courtyard, is a wonderful home to have with space to run and play all day long.
