City escape in York

Our stay on York was amazingly, the communication with the host was fantastic. The unit was very central to everything, surpermarkets, The York Minister, Shambles and all of the popular sites that York has to offer. Having a under cover car space was a bonus

Great place to stay in York

The flat is very comfortable and very clean. All the amenities one would need. It's in a quiet area and it's just a short walk to the center of town. Highly recommend.

Delightful place to stay in York

From booking to checkout, this listing ticked all the boxes for a perfect city stay in York. the Host Elaine and her wonderful mistress of check in Amanda, were super and we loved the convenience of the apartment location- walked everywhere. The flat itself is perfect for two people and we appreciated the welcome treat of breakfast things after our long journey. Highly recommend this listing!

This was a very well equipped apartment. Very clean and comfortable. Great location for walk into York town centre. The checking in process was very easy. It was great to have private gated parking too.

Absolutely Best Choice

If you are looking for a perfect accomodation in York that is quiet, secure, tasteful and conveniently located, you won't find one better. Great communication with the owner, an easy walk to/from the train station are pluses and the unit is so nice, you may find it hard to leave.

Perfect spot in York

This property was the ideal spot from which to investigate all that York has to offer. From the moment we were met at the gate to the warm and welcoming feeling the instant we walked into the space, this was an idyllic stay. Wonderfully well-maintained and equipped, comfy, smart and stylish, the apartment felt like a home away from home. We loved it!!!!

Access York!

After three years of COVID delays, we were able to make it to York. This accommodation was absolutely perfect with all we needed (and more) to be right at home. It was well appointed to a high standard and immaculate. We were easily able to stroll the streets and wall of York , and had the river right on our doorstep. We highly recommend this property!

Lovely holiday - not for disabled

We stayed for 3 nights. Check in: 1:1. Very helpful Cleanliness: 99% products left: Butter/jam but nothing to put them on & very tiny bottle of milk which was off Very cosy & homely Bathroom is not suitable for disabled - deep bath & shower with no shower mat or handle to get out (definitely needs one) Decor/location - excellent Fantastic check out time of 11am

Week in York

Excellent accommodation, excellent location for exploring the city of York everything 5 min walk away but also not noisy in the evenings if you just want to chill and stay in. The tank and paddle is a nice large bar with plenty of different drinks to chose from but does get very busy if you a quieter pub the the c..k and bottle round the corner is also a nice friendly pub to visit

Spot On

My wife and I stayed here at the end of March for four nights and would have loved to have stayed longer. The property was of a very high standard with everything you would need for your stay, with the added bonus of secure parking on site. Check in with Amanda was simple, informative, friendly & professional. This ground floor apartment is Ideally located for everything York has to offer, we only used the car once after we arrived as it is situated in York centre so we walked everywhere. Though in the centre of the city we were not disturbed by noise. We will definitely be returning and have recommended to our family and friends.

Lovely Apartment - Excellent location

Lovely New Year stay. Modern well furnished apartment with lots of personal touches (Welcome pack tea/coffee/biscuits/Milk/croissants etc)- Ground floor so easy access. Very clean had everything we could ask for Walking distance to City - Tank & Paddle at end of street (2 min walk) excellent if you like real/craft beers. Own parking space in secure car park really helpful

A real Gem

Beautiful property with excellent secure parking. The communication was really good too. The property was warm, bright and welcoming, the addition of Christmas decorations was most appreciated. They provided everything we could possibly need for our stay, including a very nice basket of croissants and jams. The apartment is very clean and beautifully decorated too. The shower is nice and powerful and the big, fluffy towels were lovely. Town is only a short walk over the river the apartment is in a good location close to pubs and other amenities. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be booking again. Quite a few of our friends are booking after seeing our photographs. Many, many thanks to the owners
