町の中心部から徒歩5分の中心部に位置するForgan Cottageは、すべてのモダンな快適さを備えた歴史的なコテージの魅力を備えています。 コテージは1896年頃、1800年代後半にセントアンドリュースに拠点を置く大手ゴルフクラブメーカーの1つであったフォーガン家によって建てられました。
コテージは、新しいキッチンとバスルーム、新しいカーペット敷きのベッドルーム、階段、階下のホールとリビングエリアのオークフロアーで、上品に近代化され、改装されました。
明るいリビング/ダイニングエリアからは裏庭を見渡せ、Kinness Burn沿いの小道は後庭のゲートからアクセスできます。
すべてのベッドルームにはキングサイズのベッドがあり、そのうち2つはツインベッドに変換できます。
洗濯機、回転式乾燥機、追加の冷蔵庫、冷凍庫を備えた大きな中央加熱式地下室があります。 自転車やゴルフクラブを保管するための十分なスペースもあります。

Our stay at the Forgan Cottage was absolutely perfect. Perfectly situated in the middle of St Andrews, the cottage was super cosy, clean and welcoming. Great location and beautifully decorated. Very comfortable beds. Lovely outdoor space with nice garden furniture. Street parking not too bad considering how close it is to the town centre. Refurbished basement is a very useful space. Nice modern bathroom with very powerful shower. Only negative for us was the kitchen being so small and having to go outside to access the basement/ freezer. However, it is a very old/ historic cottage and the owner has definitely made the absolute most of the space available.

This was a lovely house to stay in. It was very clean, the location was great and the communication with the owners was excellent. They had a nice book with places to eat and sightseeing recommendations. I would stay there again and will be recommending this to anyone I know that will be traveling to St. Andrews.

A great property. Clean, spacious and perfect for our needs.Just a ten minute walk to the Old Course.Tricia was an excellent host and it was nice to meet her personally.A lovely bag of goodies and treats were waiting for us and communication and check in was a doddle - I cannot recommend highly enough.

Great location, Great Home

The property is comfortable, and the rooms are impeccable decorated with fine linen and high end bedding. The only inconvenience is that it has one shower and the lighting in the shower room is dim. A quick upgrade to LED Soft white will do the trick. Nevertheless, there is a creek that flows behind the property that is idealic and the walk into town through the Briar path is a storybook experience. Will 100% stay here again. The garden in the back of the property is more than perfect.

Lovely house great location

We had a lovely time. The house is great and so is it's location. We walked and ran along the Kinnessburn to the sea and along Lade Braes. Highly recommend.

Fabulous cottage in excellent location

The property was well furnished and immaculate. The location was fabulous for all that St Andrews has to offer. Communication with Patricia the host was very good and we were even advised when the cottage was available to allow us to check in early. Stay in St Andrews

Forgan Cottage was a great place to stay for the four of us on our golf trip to St Andrews. Facilities were clean and well cared for. Location is excellent - if you want to walk you are within 15 minutes of just about everything of significance in St Andrews. While no onsite parking - there is ample free parking nearby. Patricia was a great host - always communicated clearly and promptly during the booking and stay. Beds were comfortable and rooms well furnished. Forgan will nicely support 3 couples. We were four separate individuals and it work out nice for beds available. Would gladly come back to Forgan Cottage in the future.

Such a charming cottage

We had a fantastic stay in Forgan Cottage! The beds were comfortable, the decor was charming, the TV room was snug and enjoyable too. Best of all was the location - just a 5-10 minute walk to virtually all of St. Andrew's, especially fun via Louden's Close and Lad's Brae - 2 little waling paths that have a very 'secret garden' kind of feel. We absolutely loved it. Great communication and help from our host Patricia too - thank you!!

Excellent Property

We really enjoyed our time at the Forgan Cottage. Patricia was an excellent host who was very responsive from booking all the way through check out. The property is very clean and can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests. Although the garden area looks great, we were not able to enjoy it because of the weather. The property is very conveniently located and easy to find. Once in St Andrews, you rarely require a car since South, Market and North Streets are all within 5-10 minute walks. There you will find many coffee shops, restaurants and bars. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone who is considering a visit to St Andrews.

We bought the cottage because our son and daughter both studied at St Andrews University and the town is a lovely place for either a day trip or a few nights stay as it is not too far from where we live in Glasgow.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

My son and I looked at several properties but Forgan Cottage had a nice atmosphere and we could see it had potential to be a fabulous holiday home and place for him to stay when he was studying.
It is only a very short walk from the town centre but also has plenty of free parking outside. It is centrally located for either the West or East sands which was important as we have 3 dogs.

この宿泊施設の特徴

We have fully refurbished the cottage and it is extremely comfortable either in summer or winter. New central heating and continuous hot water make it a cosy place to stay even in the depths of winter. The garden at the back which has just been newly landscaped in 2019 looks onto the Kinness Burn which is a lovely feature in the summer.
We love spending time in the cottage as it has an extremely relaxing feel to it.
