We really enjoy this location and complex. The condo is spacious and comfortable for our family of 5. We used both pools, hot tubs, BBQs and tennis courts. Kitchen was pretty well outfitted and we appreciated the beach chairs, towels, umbrella and drying racks. I would suggest new flooring in this unit as the old carpeting needs an upgrade.

Good location and lots of space

The unit is very close to the lower pool. The lanai has a great view. Also convenient to walk to the beach. There were two beach chairs but disappointed no boogie boards were available. The unit has been updated in areas (kitchen & bathrooms) but could use a few more updates like new carpet. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Reviewer Comments: Overall, everything was wonderful with the condo - one note was that we found an empty pop bottle, magazines and a cigarette butt under the bed in the master bedroom when we checked in. You should make sure that housekeeping checks under beds when they come into the unit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a terrific time staying at Maui Kamaole C-208. The property was beautiful, very clean and well maintained. You never heard traffic from the road below either - which can be, at times, quite busy. C-208 was beautifully decorated and it had every amenity you could ask for - it was really like being at home - they absolutely thought of everything. From coolers we took to the beach, tennis rackets for the courts, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels - it was all great. The large lanai was overlooking the lower pool and was very private because of a large palm tree/plant in front of us. We had excellent service from the property mgmt company as well. We spent most of our time at the beaches in the area but always came back to eat at the condo. Thanks again for a wonderful place to stay! We would definitely recommend and would book C-208 again.

One bathtub is not usable

The location of the unit is very nice, and the complex that it is located in his managed very cleanly. Upon the arrival, we were given the wrong code for entry. This was annoying since I located the site manager, who then told me who to contact for the information. Additionally, inside the unit, some of the lightbulbs were burnt out and had not been replaced, and one of the bathrooms bathtub was super slippery making it unusable. So if you are counting on having two showers operational this will not work. I think I noticed other reviewers mentioning the same.

Maui Kamaole

The unit is large and has everything we needed. We booked at the last minute when a storm caused an extension of our trip. The property manager was easy to work with, responsive and helpful when we asked questions. The unit needs updating! Really old shag carpet caused a musty smell throughout the condo even though the condo itself was very clean. Bedding and furniture are old and worn, dated decor. Just overall needs sprucing up. Maui Kamaole has lovely grounds and is close to Kihei activities but not in the middle of everything so it’s quiet and not too busy with traffic. The pools are super nice. The only thing we didn’t appreciate were all the signs with rules posted everywhere. Lots of “Don’t” and “No.” a security guard went around the pool asking everyone for their room number to verify residency. I’ve never seen that in any place I’ve stayed in over 40 years of coming to Maui. I understand the importance of rules and we are respectful rule followers but the overall vibe was not the spirit of aloha and kokua that we have always experienced on the island. Other than that, things were good!

Wonderful Maui Vacation

The condo was great! Had mostly everything we needed including boogie boards, umbrella, chairs, and coolers. Location of pool was great and nicely heated. Parking was close to condo too. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of dishes, cups and utentils to use. The only downside was we had to drive to beach, too far to walk carrying everything we needed. They could have used a newer large pan for cooking, but they did have pans to use. Ice maker didn't work in refrigerator so make sure you get ice not a big deal. Very responsive as I called about a broken umbrella and chair and they delivered new ones the same day!! Beautiful view from the balcony. I definitely give this place a thumbs up and would stay here again.

Our stay was good except for some broken equipment. The beach umbrellas were broken, the soap dispenser in the bathroom was broken. There was dust on the furnitures.

Great Kihei condo

Condo was as pictured/described and fit our vacation needs perfectly. Short drives to a variety of beautiful beaches. Kitchen had all the basics to be able to easily cook when we liked. Happily found beach chairs and snorkel gear in closet to use at the beach. Loved the location and hope to return again on future visits.

Nice place

This place was great. BEAUTIFUL sunset view from the balcony, Spacious, and was great for us 5. The only problem was that we were given the WRONG lock code. It was HOT and we had unloaded our stuff and sat outside the door as I called the after hours number who said they could not get a hold of anyone. They suggested I call the other number ( manager of place?). I left a message with them and received a message from them the next day saying they couldn't help with being locked out. LUCKILY, the inspector for the unit happened to come by and let us in. I do not know what we would have done otherwise. I did not see another contact in the info I was given. I COULD have been a VERY disappointing situation. Also, the pool code was wrong. Luckily a friendly neighbor gave us the correct code. The pools were nice. The unit is close walking distance to what we called "Sunset Park" ( It was packed at sunset). Nice beaches all up and down S. Kehei Rd. The closet full of beach items was nice but both boogie boards were broken in half, umbrella broken, 4 chairs were nice. Cooler came in handy, there were some floaties for the pool and snorkels which we didn't use because we brought our own. Over all, it was a nice place and a good location. I would stay there again ( as long as I had the correct codes). :;-)

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay in Maui. The condo Grounds are beautiful and it was conveniently located. It was a quite area, More older people stay or live here so our teenagers wished it would have had a younger crowd. It was great to have Beach chairs and towels to use. We donated Boogie boards to the unit when we left. We would return.

Beautiful Condo

Wow - what a beautiful place. The condo's pictures do not do this unit justice. We had everything we needed and more for our 10 day stay. The condo was clean and very welcoming. The condo complex was also immaculately maintained. This unit is close so shopping in Kihei and also Wailea along with many other activities. I will definitely be back .

Beautiful, well stocked condo in a great location!

We loved this condo! It was the perfect setup for our group of 5 with the 2 king-sized (super comfy!!) beds for the adults and the pull-out couch for the little guy. We loved the location too. We were pleasantly surprised at how well stocked it was as well - it had absolutely everything we needed and then some! We also liked the proximity to the community pool and grills. The office staff on site were very friendly and super helpful. We would definitely recommend this condo to others and would love to visit again in the future!

Beautifully Updated Condo ~ Everything You Need!

We were a family of 6 that enjoyed everything about this condo ~ the updated kitchen, all amenities, location to beach, ocean view, beach supplies, comfy beds, and great service at the front desk. I work in the hospitality industry and this place is definitely 5-Star, 5-Diamond, Gold Service!! Loved everything about it and would definitely return on our next trip! Thank you!!!

Awful experince, rental comnapny did nothing to resolve.

The house itself was fine and we had no issues, the issues we had were with management company. We were 7 days into our vacation with the family when someone literally barged into the house. I grabbed a knife and my wife grabbed the phone and dialed 911. The startled men at the door identified themselves as cable repairmen and were there to upgrade the 3 cable boxes in the home. We had ZERO warning, ZERO notice, and when we contacted Maui Rental Group and expressed our concerns, they simply ignored us. We will NEVER use this management company ever again and I would advise you to do the same.

Great Home Away from Home

Tasteful upgrades, comfortable beds, a ton of beach/snorkel gear, convenient location. My only complaint is that we paid for cleaning service upon our departure, so I expect the rental to be cleaned upon arrival or to be credited for my cleaning fee. I had to strip the bedding off the sleeper sofa because of a few animal droppings and a lonely sunflower seed. The floor wasn't vacuumed as there were crumbs and no vacuum marks. Management offered to send cleaners back to clean, however, that is not ideal once we have our belongings situated throughout the home.
