Wonderful setting and outstanding scenery to wake up to. Fantastic owners Mark and Debbie to communicate with. The chalet was immaculate and very cosy, by far the most stunning chalet we have ever stayed in. Lots of home comforts including Marks and Spencer fleece blankets and cushions, Next kitchenware, the most amazing array of DVDs for both adults and children, painting sets, games and books to suit the whole family. The children loved the jacuzzi and sauna.
A beautiful swimming lake at the bottom of the hill, with volley ball area and tennis courts. Be warned though the tennis prices are expensive. We took our bikes with us and found some amazing routes along the river, popping in and out of villages we would never of visited in the car. There are some great local hotels and restaurants to eat in, plus a small supermarket, bank and bakery in the village. Very friendly locals who gave us mushrooms they had picked from the mountains, and even cooking advice. Lovely lovely place, the only down side was was that we had to come home.
