The apartment was so beautiful. The decor, light and view from the windows, the balcony, all were just inspiring and relaxing. Everything was clean, bright, and well kept.

Everything was wonderful at this beautiful apartment. The location was fantastic. The view was amazing, easy walk to anywhere we wanted to go. The check-in process was very easy, and the place was clean, bright, and comfortable. We will definitely stay there again!

Ideal apartment for a month-long stay

The apartment is fabulous: spacious, comfortable, light, intelligently designed and tastefully decorated, conveniently located to the old town and beaches, with a beautiful view over Praia Batata and its interesting rock formations. Destination Algarve is very professionally run, and any [minor] issues with the property were responded to and resolved promptly and effectively.

Absolutely incredible apartment and location.

Absolutely incredible apartment and location. The views from the main patio overlooking the beach and ocean are amazing. The apartment itself is very nicely furnished and spacious for 4 people. Great access to a beautiful beach and walking distance to a number of great restaurants and bars. We loved our time in this unit and in Lagos.

This place looked exactly like the pictures! In the perfect area, right across from the beach and a 10 minute walk to the main downtown area with all the restaurants you’ll need! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The hosts were so nice and very responsive. The place was spotless, ac and all amenities worked as described. We hope to stay here again!

Apartment is even better than pictures show. One issue - we looked forward to using the spa tub in the master bathroom but jets did not work. Management said they are turned off. That should be noted in the listing or at least the person checking us in should have pointed that out. Parking is a plus even though very tight garage. Great view, great location, great apartment. Well stocked for our week stay. Garbage disposal is not easy - have to take across street and down a level.

We stayed here for 6 nights and want to give an honest account so future guests can make an informed decision.The location is nice across the street from the beach and the view is beautiful, but the busy street runs between the apartment and beach. Several issues made the stay more stressful than it should have been.On evening, another vehicle was parked in our designated spot, the only parking available to guests. With no other options and warning signs throughout the garage, we attempted to reach the host on both the regular and emergency contact numbers. Neither call was answered. The situation resolved itself when the car owner returned, but it was an anxious end to our stay, especially traveling as a family with a rental car in an unfamiliar country.Throughout our stay, a strong sewer smell came from the bathroom every time we showered. The host did respond and sent someone to treat the drains and toilet, which we appreciated, but the smell returned fully by the next day and persisted for the remainder of our stay.The hallway and stairwell lights in the building were out for our entire 6-day stay. We had to use our phone flashlights every time we came and went, which was inconvenient and felt like a safety issue.We understand that some of these may be building-level issues beyond the host's direct control, but guests deserve to know what to expect. Better communication and more reliable emergency availability would go a long way.
