Very quiet in the evening and night.

Excellent place to relax and sleep. So quiet in the evening and night. Lots of areas inside and outside to sit and enjoy your stay. Perfect for dogs ( fenced in front yard). DG

Notice

House needs an overhaul in the cleaning department. Had them come in while staying to do a few kitchen cleanups. But over all the whole house needs a really good clean.

It's not good.

Everything is worn out. Crockery cracked and chipped. Fridge dirty. All drawers were full of rubbish. Furniture was very tired. Bed linen was shabby an un-ironed. Cleaning materials was dumped in a junk room.No welcome pack. no owner visit. Not to be recommended.

Hôte très disponible,et sympa.manque toilette en bas ,vu qu'il faut monter un escalier très raide ,pour aller à celui du haut.manque aussi une rampe complète pour accéder à l'étage.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect for our family. We had just spent a week in Paris and it was lovely to come to the peace and quiet. We used it as a base for our visits to WW I sites in France and Belgium. There was plenty of room and a big kitchen. The chickens, goat and dog were fun. Some previous reviews complained about the dog, however, when we were there the backyard was clean and a great place to spend time. Would recommend.

praktische locatie

Er zijn pluspunten zoals; goede WIFI, TV, verwarming, locatie (veel te doen in de omgeving). Ruime hal voor schoenen en jassen.Toilet (is boven) en badkamer werken naar behoren. Bedden zijn ok. De slaapplaats beneden, is in de hal met een gordijn ter afsluiting, en geen slaapkamer te noemen. De slaapkamers boven zijn goed. In de keuken zijn de laden vies, borden en bestek niet schoon. Vaatwasser werkt wel, maar staat los. Eén pan was ok, andere pannen hadden losse onderdelen en kapotte bodem. Het huis is voor 6 personen, echter is er een tekort aan serviesgoed (niet 6 dezelfde borden, je bent continue aan het afwassen) Er staat geen peper/zout. Weinig keukengereedschap aanwezig. Koffie was aanwezig. Het is dat we een topkok in ons gezelschap hadden, en hij heel goed is in het maken van een stoofschotel, zo kon hij met één pan heel ver komen. In de advertentie wordt een grote achtertuin vermeldt. Deze is er ook, maar onze honden mochten er niet in!! De tuin is leuk, op de hondenpoep na die er ligt. Je hebt er dus niks aan. Je kan met je hond goed in de omgeving wandelen. Bij aankomst was er één bank (2,5 zits) in de woonkamer, dat was niet volgens de afspraak. 2 dagen na aankomst is er een klein 2-zits bankje bijgekomen. De communicatie met de eigenaar is prima. Vragen en problemen worden ASAP opgelost. Met een klein beetje extra inzet (aankleding) is dit huis een toplocatie!

Sleepy Hideaway

We are a family of 5 with 3 children under 6, we enjoyed our stay there. The host family of Yann and his wife Virginie were very accommodating and helpful. They gave us fresh eggs from their chickens and my sons fed their goats and chickens for hours so no complaints from us. Would recommend and would stay again if visiting that area again!

Bien . Très sympathique la visite des chèvres le matin dans le jardin. La 4 eme chambre conviendra difficilement à un adulte

Très chouette accueil dans un bel endroit, aménagé avec tout ce qu’il faut pour un court séjour! Les propriétaires sont très sympas et hyper disponibles! Chouette rencontre et beau moment passé en famille! Je recommande!

Goats and chickens!

We only had a short overnight stay, prior to our onward trip to Calais. We do this journey every year, but usually ends up lacking in sleep due to the dog growling at all the sounds whenever we stay in a hotel! However this house was lovely and peaceful, set in beautiful farmlands and there were 3 goats in the garden, so cute to watch in the morning with a coffee. Yann was very responsive and very accommodating even though we arrived late and left early the next morning. I found the stairs to the upstairs bedrooms (there is one downstairs) a bit steep, but other than that, if you are looking for a lovely quiet house, where chickens and goats roam the garden, would absolutely recommend :)

Un séjour au calme de la campagne

Très bon sejour au calme avec une belle surprise (les animaux) pour les enfants dans le jardin. Et un hôte très disponible. Je recommande.
