This is an amazing home in a prime location. The house is in great condition and the host is extremely responsive and accommodating. Would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed at Elkstone to attend a family wedding. We are a family of four, plus a boyfriend, sister and niece. The room configuration was perfect. We took full advantage of this fantastic property. We used the hot tub and the gas fire pit. We had a bbq one night so took advantage of the grill and the Thermidore oven. The main living room was a perfect hangout. We loved the location across the street from the grocery store. We went back and forth on the gondola a lot to visit family staying at the Madeline and everything else. Several members of my party thought the downstairs lighting could be brighter, but no other complaints. I would highly recommend this property and hope we have the opportunity to come back!

Beautiful mountain home. We loved the access to the gondola that would take us to Mountain Village and the historic town of Telluride. Loved the Bear Creek Falls trail and the fact that you could walk there from the base of the gondola in town! Check in was easy and property manager was always available to answer any questions.

Pure luxury

We stayed at this beautiful 5 bedroom home during the Telluride Bluegrass Festival with our adult children and my cousin and her husband … the property is beautiful and clean and has all of the amenities you could ask for. So close to the gondola stop to take you into telluride as well as the marketplace which has anything you could wish for . This home is well cared for and comfortable… we would definitely stay here again!

Perfect family stay

This was our second stay at this home in Mountain Village, and once again, it was fantastic. We shared the space with another family of five, and it was ideal—plenty of room, well-appointed, and very comfortable for two families. The location is hard to beat: easy access to the mountain, close to groceries, and just steps from transportation. Everything we needed was within reach, making for another seamless and enjoyable stay. We’ll definitely be back.

Great home near slopes

We had a wonderful time! Great view and fantastic location. The slope was only 100 yds away and a short walk.The free gondola was located a short distance away and grocery store is only a 3 min walk.

Great Place But Could Use Some Upgrading

This was a great house! Very beautiful decor and layout. We had a great time and it was in good proximity to everything. The Gondola made it easy to access both towns. The ski in, ski out access was a little bit of a walk up hill with kiddos so should probably mention that in the description. The Gondola is across the main road, not the neighborhood road.Some upgrades to do:- The beds were very awful to sleep in. Most of them curved in the middle and we were there for 6 nights so had a tough time sleeping the whole time.- The pans were all scratched and probably leaking PFO's which was scary to cook in. Not good quality.- Some of the lighting in the kitchen / dining room was weird and white lights compared to the nice warm toned ones.

Excellent stay

Property was awesome. Had an excellent stay. Not truly ski in/ski out. Short walk less than 5 minutes to double cabin run made getting to the mountain easy. Close to market and gondola.

Outstanding Home, Responsive Management

The 2 Elkstone townhome was a comfortable, clean, spacious place for our family to relax after fun days skiing in Telluride. Everything from the ski lift to restaurants were convenient from the home. Plus, the management quickly responded to our questions and met our needs!

Beautiful property

The house was beautiful, the location was good and the property management was responsive to the small issues we had. One day our group ran out of hot water for showers after 4 fairly short showers but that was the only blemish on the trip. We would happily rent the property again

Wonderful New Year's Experience

We had a large family group with skiers and really enjoyed our stay. Very convenient location and a short walk across the road to the Market Plaza gondola and grocery. The home is very spacious and perfectly accommodated our group for a memorable Mountain Village and Telluride experience over the New Year's holiday.

Fanatic stay

We had a fantastic stay. The property was spacious, clean, a stones throw from trails, the market and gondola. This was our first time gathering as three generations and the property made the experience that much more memorable. We didn’t realize though that the bunk room was really just a nook off of the downstairs playroom and not a true bedroom, but we made it work. Would love to stay here again!

Telluride Stay

We stayed 3 nights with 7 people in the unit. The property manager was very good and got back to us with any questions. We had something that was broken when we entered into the unit and she had it repaired immediately. The unit was spacious and well appointed. We would definitely stay at it again.

Awesome Location and House!

This house is wonderful! The location is perfect - an easy walk to both the local grocery store and the gondola, and walk down the street to ski right on double cabins run. Beds are comfortable, kitchen beautiful and fully stocked, bathrooms are updated and showers are amazing. Plenty of space to hang and all bedrooms were a nice size. We had 2 families and was great with 2 masters upstairs and 3 rooms downstairs for all the kids. Highly recommend this fantastic Telluride location!

Spacious and gorgeous property

We were in Telluride with another family to ski and snowboard for 4 days. Gorgeous property with the most perfect location. Each day we had a choice to use the gondola to get to the slopes or we could literally walk a few hundred yards to ski in and out. The master bedrooms were large and bathrooms have heated floors. The fireplace was inviting and the kitchen and dining area became a gathering place after skiing each afternoon before we headed out to dinner. The condo is very well stocked, with plenty of towels, soap, shampoo, etc… We had a couple of maintenance issues which were resolved quickly. Management and owner were very quick to respond and address any issues. Garage has convenient space and fixtures to store skis, snowboards, and boots. Check out was a breeze. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit. We fell in love with Telluride! This is most definitely our new ski/snowboard resort hands down!

Great Place . . . Great Convenience.

We traveled with little ones and the house could not be more accommodating for us adults and our boys. The home provided a great downstairs for the boys and upstairs for us adults. The living area felt like home and the kitchen was well suited for our needs. As far as the skiing . . . it's a simple/easy walk to "Double-Cabin." Easy in-easy out! When we return, we will look here first. Thank you.
