Great place to stay. Very relaxing. The screen porch was our favorite place at the cottage. Sandy was a great host. The fact that she allowed pets was a big plus for us as we travel with 2 dogs. She was easy to reach and very responsive. I highly recommend this property as it is ideally located, short walk to the beach, the wrap around upper deck, a wonderful place.

Great house as advertised! Our family of four and our dog had a wonderful stay with plenty of room, quiet neighborhood, easy access to the beach, and close to the Cougar Point clubhouse and Freshfields Village for snacks and shopping. Definitely recommend!

We definitely enjoyed our stay. Loved seeing all the different wildlife. We could hear an alligator bellowing in the pond. We also saw deer, coyotes and all types of herons, egrets, etc.. Being able to bring our fur babies along is such a blessing. Very grateful for that! The only thing I would recommend would be for deeper cleaning needed.

Stayed over the 2025 Christmas week. Wonderful location. Just a short walk or bike ride to the beach (5 min or less walk). Amenities were excellent and Sandy was more than available to assist and look after our stay. We hosted family for one night and had plenty of chairs, table space, and kitchenware to accommodate. We look forward to staying again!

Such a great location!

This house is in a great location - easy 5 min walk to the beach, golf, pool, etc. And if you have tweens/teens, it's an easy bike ride to Fresh Fields too (which they loved)!

Kiawah family destination

This property is well equipped and has a nice layout, with the bedrooms in the corners surrounding the living area all on the second floor. Our family especially enjoyed the swimming access at the shaded community pool (as well as the ocean, of course) and the many games and puzzles.

オーナーのプロフィール画像
My father, Joe Kay, although born in Lakeland, FL, grew up in South Carolina. After highschool in Moncks Corner, he graduated from the Citadel in 1953. My husband and I were introduced to Kiawah in 1979 and encouraged Daddy to come check out the beautiful island only 21 miles from Charleston. He purchased The Treehouse in 1986 and we have shared it with many repeat renters ever since!

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

Recently updated and refreshed, the Treehouse is your home away from home. Enjoy lounging on the new deck overlooking the life in the lagoons below. Just a walk across the street finds you at the beautiful Cougar Point clubhouse where you can enjoy a meal, watch sporting events or play a round of golf. Our guests keep telling us how much they enjoy all the extra amenities we provide so you have few extra things to bring from home. We strive to make our place your home away from home! We love dogs and want you to bring your 4 legged children with you to enjoy (please bring their beds so that they will feel at home). Dogs can run free on the beach from October - March. Other months, you can still enjoy the beaches with your dogs on leash.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Our guests tell us that our cottage is not the typical rental unit. Amenities and personal details make everyone feel at home at the Treehouse. You will particularly enjoy the ocean view from the screen porch overlooking the lagoon!
