Wonderful breakfast on the terrace in the sun, literally a stone's throw from the sea wall and the churning waves. Bit more shady in the evening, with a chilly onshore wind. Able to lie in bed and see the sun rise over the sea from the twin room - the nicer of the bedrooms. Not much room around the beds in either room, and my wife, who has restricted movement, found both the bath and the shower rather lacking in hand holds, with no mat and no shower hose.
Good places to eat at the pub and café in the village, and the Stokely Farm Shop. The Cricket Inn in Beesands may look less foodie than the Britannia crab café, but there is more space, the menu is amazing, and the cooking and presentation are excellent.
