Inn the Vicinity Unit 24 is formally known as Margaritaville Overlook, Pigeon Forge Chalet is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath chalet located about 1 mile from downtown Pigeon Forge. Relax....This Pigeon Forge Chalet features a gas log fireplace, 3 TV's (a 55-inch flat screen in the living room and a 40 inch one in each bedroom). There is a full sized, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and coffeemaker, washer / dryer and charcoal cooking grill. Both bedrooms have king size beds. There is a 2-person indoor whirlpool in each master bath and an outdoor hot tub, too. Inn the Vicinity is close to everything Pigeon Forge has to offer while offering privacy. Inn the Vicinity offers Comcast Cable Television with High-Speed Wireless Internet Access, great for streaming movies. Great place to enjoy the city lights at night while enjoying the hot tub.

Our stay at “Inn the vicinity” was superb! The deck with hot tub, tv, and fireplace was very much enjoyed! We stayed for thanksgiving week and enjoyed fireworks seen from the deck coming from the island which there is a wonderful view of from the deck. The only downside was that if you have a low ground clearance vehicle, the driveway would not work well. Luckily, we had a full size truck and had no issue. The holiday decor made our stay more welcoming. We would stay here again for sure! It was also very clean.

The chalet is located in a perfect spot right off wears valley rd. This is our 2nd time staying here over to the last 2 yrs. We have started an annual girls trip in November. The chalet is beautifully decorated for the holidays. The view from the deck is amazing. The chalet is immaculate. So comfortable. I love the inside and outside tv and fire place.We highly recommend this chalet. This will be our annual place to stay if available for our girls tripThank you for opening up this beautiful home for to us. Until next year.

Girls Weekend

Myself and 2 of my girlfriends decided to come to Pigeon Forge for a short getaway. This chalet was beyond perfect. It was close to everything. The chalet was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Loved the fireplace inside and out on the deck. The description of this place was expats stated. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a short or long stay. I wish we had been able to stay a few more days. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. Will be back for sure.

Highly recommend

Gorgeous place with everything you need, great location to town but not noisy. The balcony with hot tub and fireplace/tv is amazing, we used every night. My only complaint is we didn't stay longer!

A Great Trip

The property was even better than we expected! The home was well maintained with comfortable furnishings and delightful amenities such as a hot tub and tv on an enclosed porch. Close to everything but removed enough to feel “away”. A wonderful stay! 10/10, would recommend!

Fireworks!

We had a great time! The house could have been a little bit cleaner as far as the floors go but everything else was good. The view was marvelous and we were able to watch the New Years fireworks that were on the island from our deck, it was perfect and the littles got to see the show too as they did an early show at 8. This was our first time in Pigeon Forge, we’ll be back!

Clean, spacious residence

We enjoyed our stay. Our house was close to the majority of things we wanted to do. I loved the decor especially the Christmas tree and holiday decorations. The only downside was turning left out of the driveway, but the owners gave ideas for that. The deck was nice with a hot tub. We also appreciated the washer and dryer.

Lovely but misleading. Would not recommend.

The property in pictures looks wonderful but they don’t accurately portray the steepness of the driveway or how difficult it is to turn in. (you have to drive past it and turn around in a random driveway just to safely make the turn. this information was not relayed prior to check in or included in the listing.) house has no safety kit. power went out night 3 of our stay and not even a single flashlight! Upon check in we noticed several things not done during cleaning, full load of towels in the washer. still damp and smelled mildewy, ice cube trays filled with orange sticky residue (we never used these on our trip, too grossed out), an orange gatorade bottle half full left in the master bedroom next to the tv, jets on master tub didn’t work, light in fridge didn’t work and they never brought a new one to replace when asked, blinds in master bedroom were broken, random earring in a drawer in front bedroom, floors and bathrooms clearly were not cleaned, cheerios left in plastic cereal container that were so old they were one solid mass. hot tub was DISGUSTING. they did come out and drain it and refill it but it seems this is not the normal practice after each guest (highly recommend you ask them to take care of this on the first day of your trip). the jets also barely work and temperature controls didn’t work well. we had the hot tub set rather low and it hovered around 104 the entire stay unless we kept the lid off for hours and added cold water ourselves. The view from the back porch, while nice, is not what Fireside claims it to be in pictures. I imagine when there are no leaves on the trees that you have a much better view, but really you can’t see much of anything beyond the trees. as for privacy, there is none when you are on the deck. whether it’s people driving by on the road below or the woman that lives across the street, if they just look up, they will see you. half of the windows in the living room don’t have curtains so not much privacy there. The springs in the beds are so soft they feel like water beds (this was not great for us but may be great for you). when you lay down the whole bed sinks and swallows you. also very bouncy and disturbs other person sleeping if you get in or out. Toilets are really small. Gentleman may find this to be a problem. “Two person jetted tubs” in bathrooms are very creaky. I would be hesitant to put two people in one tub. They are also VERY hard to get in and out of.

Will definitely be back

Everything was perfect during our stay. The convenience of the location while still having privacy was great. The kids loved the bear hunt when we arrived. Everything was clean and up to date. We were literally 5 minutes from anywhere in Pigeon Forge. We loved relaxing on the porch enjoying the evening and our morning coffee. Family didn't want to leave. Thanks for a great weekend. Can't wait to stay here again soon.

We had a great stay, house was well appointed and the location was by far the best we have had in awhile, 10 min tops to basically anything in PF. Check out Downtown flavor town and Local goat when visiting

Cutest little chalet

My husband and I came up with family for just a quick weekend getaway without our kids, and we loved our stay, now I will say fair warning the driveway is pretty steep so be mindful if you’re driving something like a Honda Accord low to the ground, but if your vehicle is a bit higher you should be fine. The view of the town lights while sitting in the hot tub is very nice! We will be back

It was such an amazing stay I would definitely recommend coming back again! Our family loved everything especially the view of the ferris wheel my two girls were so excited when they saw it because they’re favorite part is going to the island of Piegon!! ☺️

Relaxing get-a-away

Me and my daughter had a wonderful experience. We were worried about the driveway based on the reviews, but it really wasn't that bad. I wouldn't recommend it if there were snow or ice because that would be scary, but when the weather is fine the slope isn't so bad. The place was clean and well taken care of. There weren't any shampoo or conditioner bottles (which is normally not a problem except we forgot ours lol). Still, not a big deal. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

AWESOME!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Beautiful views, location was perfect....so close to everything! The home was very clean and well equipped. The porch was our favorite -- so relaxing and peaceful. We hope to return!

Extremely steep driveway!!

The driveway is extremely steep and has a sharp curve. My truck could kit make this curve coming into it and I had to go and come back down to make in to the property. We found male underwear in the laundry room and prescription medicine in the bathroom area. I had to unload the fully loaded dishwasher and on our last day some one decided to break glass on the the driveway behind my vehicle. When I called the property manager, no offer to help clean it up. While the cabin is decorated quite nicely, we will not be staying here again with all these negatives.
