The house is a warm family home and very well appointed - it was ideal for our extended family holiday.Beautiful outside areas with lovely pool and garden, seating areas and including two tortoises! The location is just 1 mile from the coast / beaches and has easy access to Estepona and local shops.Communications with Karina and Jonathan were great and nothing was too much trouble.The neighbours dogs were a little tiresome with their daily barking routine around bed-time, but otherwise we had a really fun time and would not hesitate to recommend the villa.

Paradise

We stayed here for a week and it had everything. Amazing time in swimming pool, where the Daughter learned how to swim, and good Wi-Fi and smart TV for the kids when we wanted to relax. A mile away from Estepona old town which is fantastic. Fabulous weather for the whole week. Would definitely come again

We had an incredible time at the Villa. Check in was quickly sorted after my Phone number didn't work in spain and we were soon shown into the beautiful property. Inside there was a large comfortable living area which we didn't use much to be honest other than children taking day time naps. The kitchen was phenomenally well appointed - Large range cooker, massive double fridge freezer, all the pots and pans I needed.The bedrooms were all great with the twin, and 2 doubles all being air conditioned. The last double which was in the middle of the house was not Air Conditioned but had a powerful ceiling fan and if you aired the house before it was more than comfortable. Nice ensuite on the master bedroom.Washing facilities were upstairs in their own area so I could wash clothes but keep them out of sight.Outside was just incredible. Large pool with a proper deep bit for cannon balls and dives. There was a shallow end but was still over 1 metre. There was a large gas BBQ that was well used but fully functional when you learned its tricks and most meals were cooked out there. Large dining area outside, as well as 4 sub beds and multiple lounging areas. Beautiful lawn and garden where we had a resident Tortoise!The area was beautiful - there was a slight issue with a road that caused a couple of issues with driving/taxis but was easy to overcome and I am sure temporaryThe area has a horse ranch and they were happy for us to wander in and have a look and say hi to horses

Agréable séjour en famille. Extérieur très agréable. L'hébergement est mitoyen à une écurie ce qui a engendré la présence de mouches lors des repas sur la terrasse..dommage. Nous avons apprécié les ustensiles complet en cuisine sauf pour le café (?cafetière à piston pas pratique). Piscine et jardin au top. Pas de clim au salon , chambres climatisées. Peux mieux faire pour la prestation ménage..

We enjoyed our stay, but a few issues held it back.We spent two weeks here as a group with children and had a lovely time overall — the house and its location are genuinely beautiful, and the owners were responsive and polite throughout our communication.That said, there are a few things future guests should know. The biggest issue was cockroaches: over the two weeks we cleared away more than 30, dead and alive, and found several in the beds (both the adults' and the children's) as well as in the kitchen and pans. The owners did respond quickly with traps and told us the house would be fumigated after our departure, which we appreciated, but did not solve our problem right away of course. Finding cockroaches where we and the kids were sleeping made for some unpleasant nights.We were also woken most nights by barking dogs from neighbouring properties, sometimes for hours. The owners were upfront that this is a common issue in the Spanish campo and are pursuing it with a neighbour, so it's worth being aware of. Lastly, the internet was down for a couple of days, which was inconvenient for those of us who needed to work and some Netflix entertainment in the evening.The owners were courteous and did offer a late checkout. We'd have liked some acknowledgement of the cockroach situation given where they turned up, but we still had a good holiday here and the setting is hard to beat.

Thank you for your review Bastiaan. To address your points: 1. Cockroaches - having lived in the house year round for many years and currently every year between September and June, we have NEVER experienced a situation like you describe. Yes, we see the occasional one or two but rarely. We did not want to fumigate the house whilst you were in residence as the fumes are toxic. Rather we immediately deployed traps. At no point did you say things were untenable and you would have preferred to leave. 2. Dogs barking - in the description of the house it clearly states that the house is in the Spanish countryside and that animal noises of all kinds (including dogs) is common. That said one of our neighbours is largely responsible and the situation has been addressed - following your stay have had no other complaints about the dogs (nor indeed anything else) 3. Internet - had you explained at the time that you were unable to work and that Netflix was a necessity, we would have been more than happy to pay for E-sims for your telephones. However it has only been following your stay and your contacting us requesting compensation that this has become a big issue. We have apologized profusely, given you a late checkout and we were in discussion about compensation - as you know my father is gravely ill and in his last days so I’m quite shocked that you would relentlessly pursue this at this time. I wish you and your family well.

We have lived in Spain for 25 years but love to travel and have new experiences. When we are not in Spain, we rent out our home. Our house has been a labour of love - from it's humble beginnings as a simple country house we have made it what it is today - a stunning country house set in a beautiful Meditteranean garden.
